The staff is so amazing. The manager is amazing. I love everything about this location and appreciate the amazing service even when they have and are getting slammed with guests all day long! The manager made my entire day. Could gush forever about the workers!

Just went, products and store was fine. Sales associate followed me around and acted like I was stealing bc I brought a stroller with my child in it I guess? I bought my things and left. Gross behavior for a service rep. Just a mom shopping. Pathetic!

Just went in recently and saw 2 shoppers not wearing masks. Employees weren’t saying anything to those customers. I saw even more wearing masks but at times removing them completely. I even heard employees bragging about going to bars maskless. I no longer feel safe shopping here, which is sad because I love Ulta.

At least 6 workers there, 3 of them were in a circle talking the whole time. When I checked out the girl was very rude. Overall bad customer service and workers who don’t care.

Over the years, Ive had consistently wonderful interactions with the dark haired woman who is usually stationed near Clinique. She is the main reason, alone, I have come back to the store. If you ask anyone else for help they get annoyed or walk right past you. This is not surprising as the owner has the same type of attitude. Ill order online, buy from Sephora or send my husband in for emergencies from now on.

Very surprised how horrible their customer service is around the holiday..someone needs training. As a patron you would expect the very least to be greeted with hello and happy holidays. I just want to buy some lipstick. ...Ill go to Sephora.

As a someone whos not a makeup person and easily overwhelmed by beauty products, this location has a great varied stock and well trained, kind personnel. I want to specifically thank Hannah for being so helpful in finding products that exceeded my expectations once I was able to go home and try it! Especially in a time where you cant necessarily try before you buy right now, I highly recommend coming here for an excellent customer experience!

The person that helped me and the cashier were both polite and helpful. The store was neat and had lots of gift sets to choose from.

Best place to shop in champaign

Ulta is my favorite store for cosmetics and beauty tools and supplies. They have everything from drug store to high- end, so theres something for every budget. Plus they have great sales, coupons, and a point system that help me get the most for my money. I go to Ulta for makeup, hair products, nail products, and products like facial masks and eye creams. Would highly recommend. But be careful... its hard to walk out of this store without buying something! :)

My past experiences here have been bad, however after not coming for a few months it seems to have completely turned around! Staff seems to have changed which is good because previously it was not so good. However, this time they were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend them if for your makeup needs!

No one to ask questions...no bag with purchase I was qualified to receive...no personality behind the desk.

I came to Ulta on Tuesday night and Madisen was extremely helpful. She was really nice in helping me find all the stuff that I was looking for! She was so polite and didnt make me feel like I was taking away from her time and she offered makeup advice to help me decide between products.

My hair looks awful. Its so uneven on the sides. Im hoping I can get it corrected without having to get it all cut off. Not sure I even want to go back to have it fixed. But after paying $54 I think they should make it right. Update the salon manager fixed it, but its been 4 months and its just now grown out where I can get it fixed. I wont be back.

The ladies were extremely helpful today. I noticed a very fresh upbeat attitude with the staff. They are truly abiding by all the COVID-19 recommendations.

Quite possibly my daughters favorite store in the world. She could spend hours there. I on the other hand am happy to get in and out with what I need. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I love that there is a WIDE range of items at all different prices. I am not a make-up addict, but being able to try anything I want is fun. My only complaint is that there are always several employees on the floor helping, but the check out line is pretty slow.

Employees here are super attentive! The store is easy to get around and the employees do a great job of helping you find what you are looking for. They have a wide selection of products and good salon dervice too.

This review isnt about this store specifically, but about ordering on-line. I recently ordered a Dr. Brandt product that came with a free gift. I was very disappointed that I didnt get the free gift, because apparently I had to add it to my cart. To me that makes no sense. I dont recall having to do that before and other sites I shop on dont make you add the free gift to the cart, once you qualify for it, it is entered and shipped automatically. I called Ulta and e-mailed twice and got nothing. I was told the orders couldnt be changed and apparently they cant just ship me the free item. I am a Platinum member and shop at Ulta pretty much every 2 weeks. VERY disappointed in the non resolution of my problem. I gave the 4 star review, because I love my local store and Ulta in general. Just not happy with the on-line issue.

Ulta has a huge selection of makeup, perfume and hair care products. Easy parking and usually not long waits to check out. Prices are comparable. I do not usually find the staff to be overly friendly.

Hard to get anyone to talk to me or answer questions. I always feel very overlooked at this store location. I always feel like I am bothering the people that work there.

The people here dont seem to know which products to recommend. I have asked on two separate occasions for a good liquid eyeliner recommendation and both products they suggested did not work very well. unless you already know exactly what you want, I would not shop at this location.

I love shopping here to get my make up but the staff is so rude and never wanting to help. New releases take forever to get put out and makes it impossible to find what you want. Ive had staff offer to go look in the back and bring me what Im looking for and other are lazy and just say oh that will be out soon and cant give me a date even though its supposed to be out already. It makes me really sad and dread shopping here but I do like the store and the rewards I get but staffing really needs to be evaluated.

Love this store. The staff is always very friendly and the sales floor is always very clean and organized. They carry magnetic eye lashes, which is the main reason I go there. The only short coming Ive found is that they do not carry Estee Lauder in the store.

Today We Received our worst Service At Champaign Ulta. After the Hour Drive we shopped for 45 minutes to find what we needed.At the Register the person waiting on my daughter and I was so rude. We had picked out 3 products from a Display from Back right side of the store 3 for $10. We was told no ! Not on sale. Fine we won’t buy them. So she tells us the total and we had a Coupon $10 off of $40. It reads you can use on any purchase!!!! She tells us. We can not use the coupon!!! We was done! Rude and just acting rude like she did not care about us buying anything from Ulta. We left without buying anything!! Ruined the rest of the night!! Terrible!

Really poor customer servicing skills. I wasn’t greeted at all; many associates passed by me and noticed me, but not once was I asked if I was finding everything okay. When I did have a question and approached one woman working here, and I was given a snarky response and was treated like I was burdening her with my question. As someone who works in retail, I’m usually pretty understanding, but I just felt unwelcome from the time I walked in to the time I left. Maybe some re-training is in order. Hope things improve, because I love Ulta.

I like going here. I go sparingly because they are a little pricey. Heck, I just spent like $100 in this place and wasnt trying to! A young fellow help me pick the right shade of foundation for my face and the right powder. He was nice, thorough, and knowledgeable about the products. I like that within a company. A lot of companies just try to sell you whatever and have you walking out of the store looking like a clown with doll lashes!!!

Ulta no longer carries the Shea Moisture products I have been using. The customer service was great.

I like their prices and products but I cant believe I cant pay my bill in the store. What a let down.

Staff judges me and my wife are we shop here. Only reason we go in this store is for devacurl.I cant state enough how much the employees make us feel out of place just by walking in. Like dang, do we really look that bad? If it wasnt illegal they probably wouldnt sell to us at all! Store needs completely new staff

None of the employees at this Ulta have any customer service skills. Walking in without being great for all three of my visits, sealed the deal for to no longer shop at this Ulta. I totally recommend the Sephora in the mall.

Whenever I come in here the staff is rude to me. I get talked over when Im in the checkout line and no one offers to help me. I get a lot of dirty looks from the employees even. Im always very polite and I never make a mess in there (even though its always messy in there). They also never stock very often so sometimes when I go there for the one thing I need, I end up walking out anyways.

I have yet to meet an employee who is actually helpful here. You could walk around the store for hours and unless you approached a salesperson, literally no one would speak to you. The only reason I come back is because they carry brands that other stores dont and they have a nice rewards program. My advice to them is to fire everyone who currently works there and hire all new staff who at least know how to smile.

Not only have beauty products for women, but they have hair products for men, and the prices seem to be the same at other hair salons, so if your salon ran out if your favorite product, check here.

Ulta is where I end up when Sephora doesnt carry it and Target doesnt carry it. The people who work here make you work for their attention. The cashiers barely say hi. Forget being greeted. Forget expecting help. You will leave feeling overwhelmed and exhausting and wishing you had gone to Sephora where you always leave feeling like the beautiful queen you are instead of some peasant bothering the people who get paid to hang out around makeup.

Horrible customer service!

Every time I go to this particular location, they do not have what I need in stock. Always out of Anastasia Beverly Hills items, out of the urban Decay eyeliner for weeks, and a minimal selection of Morphe stock. The location is also quite small in general and the vibe you get from the staff is not very warm or friendly, but rather are you ready to check out in monotone voices. I have resorted to ordering online from ulta directly or from the morphe site itself.

Another great experience at Ulta. Its like the adult women version of a candy store. Its a dangerous, dangerous place. Enter with caution and except your bank account to hate you when you leave 😉 Make sure to check Amazon prices before purchasing some of their products, especially their hot tools. Sometimes you can get them on Amazon for half the price... FROM Ulta.

Not as many options for hair styling tools as Id prefer like small alligators clips for pin curls or sectioning hair, teasing combs, or hair combs for French twists or tools for other updo styles. There werent any hair bows either, which seemed odd to me, but I suppose my preferences must be odd if theyre not carried? I like everything I did purchase though: the Ulta brand pillow rollers work well, and the selection of Divacurl products is great for those looking for vegan and cruelty free hair styling. I got some other things Ive yet to try out, but between that and the massive vareity of makeup (I like nyx and tarte), Im pleased with everything I purchased that Ive used so far.

First time getting my hair cut at ULTA, and my experience was truly amazing, Damaris did such an incredible job & specific for my hair type, I am very happy.

So annoyed, leave for vacay, but couldn’t shop because you guys through it was a good idea to change store around WHILE ITS OPEN at 5:00pm, each isle had one person in it and they took up all space and didn’t even try to move or excuse themselves so I could shop. One guy was laying on the floor.

Great staff, prices are kind of high

I usually hesitate to ask for help in any make up store because I have rarely found anyone who knew what they were taking about.. but this time when Ashley came up and asked if I needed help I said yes. I am forever looking for a good under eye concealer and I am always disappointed with whatever I buy. Ashley was awesome! I have really dark circles and she immediately went and got three different products. Each one was a different brand so I know she was not trying to push one brand. The three products in combination with each other has given me the best coverage I have ever had. Thank you so much Ashley!!!

Overall pretty clean, you will have to deal with reduced inventory a lot of the times because this is a college town. So times like recruitment, formal, those kinds of things they wont have a lot of stuff.

I LOVE ulta because of the variety of products it offers. But THIS store out of 5 employees it has, ONLY 1 is friendly and willing to help! I went in a month ago looking for opinions about a mascara debating if I should take the waterproof one or not I reached out to a guy working there and he seeemed so uninterested! He was MORE worried about gossiping than helping customers!On another occasion last week i went in to check out the inventory got a brush and guess what?! The same “gentleman” along with 2 other ladies GOSSIPING. NOT SURPRISED! Only one cashier was super nice and outgoing I still need to know her name. Only because of her Im giving it 3 stars.
