Bates Collision provided great service on our accident and insurance claim. Although I did not fully understand the process, Corey and Lee walked me patiently through the insurance claim. They provided timely updates of communications with the insurance carrier. They helped me understand how to repurchase my vehicle if it was totaled. Ultimately, the vehicle was totaled but I had no out of pocket expense for all the estimates and insurance hassles. Corey even cleaned out our car of all personal items before the car was retrieved by the insurance carrier. I had a previous vehicle repaired with excellent work and I even had them paint some additional panels on my older dodge truck to freshen it up a bit. Bates does great work, is honest and helpful and easy to communicate with. I hope we don’t need them again, but I won’t hesitate to return to their shop.

High quality service. Bumper and taillight needed replacement, lift-gate required some repair. Color match was exact, and everything looks fantastic. Mrs. Ida and the office staff provided constant updates on the progress, as well as steady communication with the insurance company covering the costs. If future body work is needed, Bates Collision Center will be the first place I consider.

I have a 2000 Corvette, that was damaged by NTB. Was referred to Bates by our mechanic for a second opinion. The best thing we could have done. They told us they would be able to match the 21yr old paint and not take away from the integrity of the car. Replacing the bumper and painting was incredible. It looks brand new, the car has never had any body damage in the past. Everyone involved was so professional and kind. The car was ready as promised. I would highly recommend Bates. By the way NTB paid for all the work upfront before the car was worked on.

Bates was awesome. When they were done you couldnt even tell that there had been any damage to my car in the first place. And Bates is the only collision repair shop that has ever called me often, not jut to give me updates on my car, but also to let me know they contacted my insurance so that they could get my rental car extended. I know there are plenty of dealerships with their huge collision departments. The service was great! I stopped by before closing on a Friday hoping to get a quote about 2 repairs. They fixed one of them on the spot for free, and quickly ordered the part for my other repair! I’ve never had a bad experience at Bates Auto Collision out of the 4 times that I have been there. The staff is nice, friendly and attentive willing to answer any questions you may have. I like the fact that the manager accommodated me to bring my car in even though all the appointments were taken for the day. Due to my work schedule and having to be out of town on the original appointment date. Also while you wait, they have a refreshment area of free snacks and drinks. Even though I wasn’t offered anything this time around but that’s okay. At least I know my car will be just like new when it’s ready.

Keep my Jeep for 6 weeks, but no complaints there, once a week there would be another charge sent to my insurance company for something, finally got the call to pick my vehicle after doing the walk down you could easily see things that was missed during the rework, that was very obvious at this point you cant say much your jus wanting your vehicle back.

Bates did an excellent job on my 2006 truck! It almost looks brand new now. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional and I received my truck back quicker than I expected. I will definitely be back if I need any more body work done.

The representative lied. She gave a price to me, and a higher price to the insurance. She said the tinsmith would fix all defects of the hood, but he only fixed the dent of the accident.

We had a great experience here. Will and his team replaced our front light bulb quickly and gave detailed information about how it broke. Get this: they did it for free. Will believes that you shouldnt charge for the little stuff, just charge for parts. We will definitely come back for any future work on our car.

Had an insurance claim months ago so this is a long review that I finally got around to posting. (TLDR at the end)I was sent to them and decided to go as I had gotten a quote there before but never work. I ended up trading in my vehicle so I never went back to get things fixed, but the fact that I even had issues is why Im writing this review.Vehicle was only 5 months old so other than the collision damage no other paint was damaged. After pickup, which as itself my vehicle was dirty and all they did was ran water over it to clean it up, this will be important later, it looked great. The very next day I got a better wash on it to clean up the dirt accumulation from sitting, the gas cover paint was completely scratched(not part of the repair area), the invoice said the rear was repainted yet where the collision happened inside the hatch was scratches from the collision not repaired, an additional scratch on the left side bumper(part of the repair), some stuff inside the clear coat which they said could be buffed out(looks like they may have had dust in the clean room), and a thumb sized dent on my hood above where the latch locks it down. The plastic piece that goes around my hitch area was not replaced and left in the vehicle wrapped up, so the next day I took off my hitch and went to put the plastic piece on and it was the wrong part.I would not at all recommend going here and If I ever need to do another claim again, will let the agents know my story and not recommend them. They offered to fix it but I was always an inconvenience it seemed because I wasnt making them money with warranty work, so when I tried to schedule a go back date it was at their convenience and I couldnt get a loaner which I needed for work. Beware of this place.Tl;DR: vehicle came back fixed but with issues and additional damage. Rescheduling for warranty is an inconvenience to them and you dont matter once you or your insurance pays them

Bates took care of me and my car real good, and I gave them my business this time because more than a year ago they earned my business by protected my car during hurricane Harvey. My car had been in their shop being repaired when Harvey rolled in. The repairs couldnt be finished before the storm so they put it up on a lift to protect it from the storm and floods. As soon Bates opened back up for business after Harvey they continued and finished the job on my car. They went above and beyond for my car(and all the other customers cars too), and finished. I was so honored by Bates that I told myself if I ever need a body shop in the future I would go only to Bates! They Earned my business! And now theyve done another fantastic job on my car!!! 😀😉 Thank you Bates!

Kid backed into the RV with the car.Took out the right front headlight, ripped the fender, tore the panel. After getting it back from Bates, couldnt tell it was ever damaged. Went to trade up to a truck, and dealer couldnt find any evidence of a repair. Very helpful when negotiating trade in value. Highly recommend.

Everyone was nice. The work was done but not completed. I was surprised to find the security module not installed on the removable top, thus the top was not secure and could have come off during driving, which is the same reason I had to have it replaced.

Although Im happy with the work done on my vehicle, Im truly dissapointed that my windshield did not get taken care of.I would of expected the body shop to lobby toward the insurance to include it or have at least a discounted price available considering the amount the supplemental quote was inflated. I was recommended to Bates by my Aunt-n-law but since the miscommunication on my repairs were numerous, I feel I can not use them again or refer others to this shop.

Bates has been my ONLY collision shop for many years. They have never failed to do a top notch job and treated me fairly. I continue to recommend them whenever I can. Although I am content with the repairs and I had no issues with any employees, Im not sure that the general star rating reflects my overall experience. Within 2 min of being in my car I noticed paw prints and dirt all over the backseat. The lady at the front who I showed and notified seemed confused and shocked by it, and told me after she cleaned the back that they were raccoon prints. I have to assume the car door (what they were replacing)was left off overnight,Id assume they would put a plastic wrap at least. I found it fairly odd no one noticed..I first assumed someone had a joy ride in it with their puppy but the prints did look different from a dogs or cats. The area where repairs were made was dusty and definitely not as I left it; I had just cleaned the inside a few days before so It stood out to me. It did not seem like they tried to clean the inside, I understand its a shop, but it didnt seem like they tried to clean it at all. I could tell the outside was also just sprayed over with water as opposed to a proper cleaning as another reviewer stated as well. I regret not taking a pic of the prints in the back,I was in a bit of a shock I suppose.I have no complaints about the repairs themselves.

I had an insurance claim with them. Heard great things from them and decided to check them out. The first time the work was done everything was great however there was a part in back order. Brought it back to get the part put in, the scratched the paint and left the gas tank too low when I pumped gas it fell had to have the truck towed. Gave them about 4 ore chances to get things together and when I finally though things were ok a month later since the first repairs. The gas tank fell again my father had to fix it himself. Working myself in the insurance industry I stopped referring my customers.

Second time I used Bates and it will not Be a 3rd I just needed a simple bumper repair 2nd time it was horribly done 2nd time you manage to lose my $600 spoiler because some idiot didnt tighten it down so it flew off and was destroyed on a freeway 2nd time after leaving Bates I will never recommend anyone to use that business to leave cracks in a bumper and and repaint it is horrible work I just want you guys to replace my $600 spoiler and I will take my car to someone else and I will pay out of my pocket to get it done have someone else fix your mess up so thank you very much

Took my truck for insurence work. They messed it up even worse then what it was. They scratched and oversprayed the truck. I gave they 3 chances to get it right, but they never fixed it. i had to take the truck to a different shop. I would not recommend them to anyone. Dont take your vehicles there.
