I’m from Texas and needed an oil change and other things. The staff there were friendly and very understanding to my unique situation. They took great care of my Explorer and had me back on the road in no time. I highly recommend this place. Thank you, guys.

The people were just so kind!! Everyone was rushing around to get my car serviced very quickly and get everyone in and out. I came in with little knowledge of cars thinking I needed something expensive and they actually told me I didnt which is very trustworthy. They also picked up on things that I forgot about but I knew I was due to get changed. I left my bag there and they ran it out to my car. Just a great team!!!

They are always fast and organized and very nice. Everything is always done properly as well. I always get a coupon on the jiffy lubes website before I go so I can save at least $15 which is awesome. The guys working always open the doors for the ladies which I thought was so sweet and thoughtful.

Fast service at a fair price

Went in for simple oil change, then my car stalled out as I drove down Franklin street and almost crashed. I called Jiffy Lube from the side of the road and they drove a mechanic up to take a look. Come to find out there was a hole/crack in the plastic of my air box that they check when completing an oil change. The Jiffy Lube mechanic tried to tell me that the hole/crack was not there fault because they never checked it, when it clearly states on their paperwork that this is part of the oil change process- meaning the last people to touch the air box were them. After an hour of denial, they finally took responsibility for breaking my air box without telling me and putting me in danger. Now, 3 months later I am STILL waiting for a refund for the part I had to purchase to replace their mistake. Would never go back to this location, or purchase any other Jiffy Lube service.

Definitely preciate all the guys there. Walked up to smiles and immediately started asking what was needed. Had me in and out. Going out of state and here in the area with family they were very considerate. Even met one of the guys from my hometown. Definitely appreciate the oil change and bulb replacement!!!

The tech wasnt wearing a mask. It doesnt seem professional to have to interact with an employee who doesnt have a mask on. He told me he couldnt hear me, so I had to take my mask off to tell him what service I needed. I felt like my health wasnt taken into consideration as he didnt have a mask on during that brief interaction. Please at least have them wear a mask when they interact with the customers on arrival. Then they could take the mask off while working on the cars. Also - think about when they are inside your car and all the droplets can get on your steering wheel....Itd be nice if they wore it when inside the vehicle. Im sure he didnt. Other than that it was great service and super fast for a car inspection early in the morning! I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Definitely would still recommend going there. The staff is friendly. Just have caution that they might not be wearing masks. If you are high risk you might want to consider going someplace else. There is a bench by the street if you dont want to wait indoors.

It seems that the issues in the comment below have not been addressed by “management”. If you are looking to be surrounded by people not wearing masks, come here. If you care about your health, go some place else. The service itself is fine however, just a shame that health and safety is not valued at this location.

The staff are amazing. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. The manager has honest with me about his products and my needs, never trying to upsell me a product (higher quality tires or oil) that did not suit my needs. The service was prompt with little wait time and the price was very competitive. I highly recommend this establishment for oil, brakes, and tires.

Need a safety inspection to register a car from out of state. Called ahead to make sure I had everything, and they confirmed it. Upon arriving, the employee proceeded to argue with me about what paperwork I needed insisting I needed NC registration to get the inspection. Wouldnt let me get a word in to explain the situation that I needed the inspection to get the registration or that I had already called ahead. Finally another employee came over and got it settled. Before I could get out, the first employee opened my door dumping a bunch of stuff on the ground. He just looked at it and walked away. No one was properly wearing masks either. I give this 2 stars because I got the inspection done, but docked 3 for the unprofessional, rude employees.

All of the technicians were extremely kind and welcoming and went out of their way to help me, going so far as to drive to another store near the end of their shift on a Saturday to pick up a part for my vehicle. I will definitely be coming back to this store as long as I live in the area.

Just got a quick oil change but very helpful informative and great customer service

This place has very good people. I have done only one oil change there. The next visit was for them to help me with GPS connection pot. An experienced team member came and examined my car and told me exactly what I needed. He told me to go buy the part and bring it in. This guy took his time, spent about half an hour to manually look for the burnt fuse, located it, and replaced it with the one I bought.I asked the guy what would the cost of labor be. He told me no charge, I just want you to continue to come to us for business. I thanked him for the 1/2 hr of work. It is a great place with fine employees. I recommend this location.

I live six hours away, but I’ve actually used this Jiffy Lube site twice since coming to Chapel Hill to visit my college kids. Service has always been quick and efficient, and the staff is friendly.

I was at Jiffy Lube #1552 in Chapel Hill, NC today to have my oil changed. As usual I received excellent service. The employees are professional and friendly. They always exceed my expectations and I trust them with my car. I have been a customer here for many years and I would recommend this Jiffy Lube to everyone. Tell them Vicki sent you!

The worst experience and highly dissatisfied. They told me an oil change for my car would be over $100. That is ridiculous especially considering I normally pay around $40. When I pointed this out, they continued to say it was $100 and only after I said I was going to have to leave a review on google did they say it would be $64.... That is still way too expensive for an oil change and they definitely overcharged me. Also refused to accept the $10 coupon that was on their website. This location has poor customer service and tries to overcharge you if you do not notice it, and even if you do notice, they will not correct it.

Update.I recently came in for an inspection and was thrilled they now have 2 bays for oil changes, brakes, tires etc. And 1 bay just for inspections. It makes knowing your time frame that much easier. Way to go Jiffy Lube.I would rate them zero if I could, They do not care about customers or customer service. They are beyond slow, I went in for an oil change and sat waiting for 53 minutes and my car had yet to move into a bay. All while watching cars that pulled up after me get serviced. I just got up and walked out. This is completely unacceptable for a Business to operate this way. It should not be operated on a bay by bay process but rather a first come first serve basis. Better yet have a bay for just oil changes, A bay just for inspections and a bay for everything else. Its not complicated just lazy Business practices. DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE UNLESS YOU HAVE HOURS TO WAIT.

Ive come here a few times and am always happy with the service I receive. Every time I go, Im helped very quickly. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation a few days back, and I had a great experience. They also have a cozy waiting room with free coffee and wifi. Definitely will be going back whenever I need my car serviced next!

Jiffy Lube is reliable. I sometimes go for oil changes. Today, they changed a headlight and tail light for me. Its nice to have somewhere to go without an appointment when needed.

I went here for an oil change and was told that I desperately needed to have my brakes changed and it was not something that could wait. A bit skeptical, I took my car to a more reputable mechanic and was told my breaks still had 30% life left. Beware of upselling.

This place is great! I went there today because my tire pressure light came on and I am on my back to GA. I have about a 6 hour drive and my son is driving us home and these guys pulled us right up and checked all of mg tires, filled them all up and even replaced one of my broken caps! Do not take your car here for an oil change!! I pulled up and someone came to the car and asked what I was there for, so I said I wanted an oil change. They brought me inside to wait. Without much time passing they came to ask me what oil I wanted-- all of the options were *very* expensive compared to what Ive paid at other retailers--Im talking double the price (for conventional oil). And of course they were making it sound like I really had to get synthetic or at least the sythetic blend at triple what I normally spend. Yes, they currently have a coupon on their website, but even with that the service costs more than I normally spend. I then tell the assistant manager Im not interested in getting an oil change. At which point Im told the oil has already been removed from the car and I have to pick something. When I expressed my displeasure at this business model (performing a service before telling you the cost), they explained that they do it this way to be as fast as possible. So sure I was only there for 40 minutes on a Saturday morning, but policies and actions like that are why car repair companies have a bad rap. Of course people trust the Jiffy Lube name so they will continue to get business, but definitely not mine.

It was right before a lot of us evacuated prior to the Florence Hurricane this year. I went to get my vehicle looked at and the basic tire rotation and oil change. They didnt touch the tires, but that was secondary to the oil change and I let it slide. Sold my car this week and the person is getting it tuned up. Part of that includes checking the oil. Guess what? The oil never got changed. So three things are going to happen: 1) Jiffy lube gets this review, 2) Im letting the BBB know, and 3) Jiffy lube will reimburse me what they charged for services that were obviously not rendered. Merry Christmas.

I brought my Corolla in for an oil change and after they did a sort of initial assessment they came up with what would have amounted to about $600 in up sells - an impressive number! The top recommendation was that I spend $120 to get the automatic transmission fluid replaced. The technician said that from what hed seen this looked urgent. My car is a straight drive and doesnt have an automatic transmission.

Went for a tire rotation and oil change. Got back in and the low pressure light was still on the back rear tire. When I got home I looked at the tires, still mud on the back rear drivers side tire and the panel behind (went a bit in the yard the day earlier). So they didnt rotate the tires. This made me wonder if they changed the oil or not. Sure enough I climb under and look at the oil filter. Still the valvoline oil filter I had last oil change (they dont use valvoline filters at this location according to the tech). Went back to complain and the manager (at least he appeared to be in charge) quickly and quietly went to give me a refund but then said he couldnt do it on his system and Id have to contact corporate. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!!!!

I went in there for a state inspection, and was told that I needed new front tires. The tires were low on tread, but still had enough to pass. They made it sound as if I would not pass the inspection unless I bought tires right then. They quoted me a price that was way more than I knew I could afford. When I started to call used tire places they changed their mind and passed the car. Talk about a hustle.

Edit: They didnt check my tire presser even though I specifically told them to and the light was on, and they put in the most expensive platinum synthetic when I asked for the gold. Im already buying an expensive oil, why would you further try to up-charge me?I always find it extremely confusing how to get in line for a service. Sometimes they tell me to just pull up, sometimes they want me to come in and wait in line. I dont care how they want me to do it, I just want to get a time estimate so I can leave and come back when its done. I dont have time to sit around waiting for 40 minutes. The boss needs to put someone in charge of watching the desk, or making sure every customer is handled. I think this confusion is caused by all the mechanics trying to get work done on the cars quickly and no one minding the front desk. Not sure if this is a problem at all Jiffy Lubes or just this one

I got my oil changed and they had me in and out in 15 minutes, were very courteous, and even did extra services for no extra charge such as wash my windows and vacuum!

I will never go here again. I went in for a basic oil change and to have a nail removed and patched in one of my tires. It took over an hour just for the oil change and they forgot about my tire which took about another 45 minutes to fix, making me late back to work. Additionally, it was a pretty basic tire repair in an ideal place to be batch in the middle of the tread and I was told it was in a bad place and that I should buy a new tire. The place is not worth visiting. I felt hustled.

The service here is excellent. As soon as I pulled up, someone quickly got my attention and had my car lined up at a bay. The gentleman saw me inside and informed me of the amenities (free Wifi, coffee, etc). The employees were very nice and I did not feel like they were pushing me to replace things or buy extra services that were not necessary. They also gave me a coupon book for things such as oil changes, tire rotations, and flushes. I generally REALLY dislike doing car stuff, but the staff here made the experience pleasant and easy.

We always use Jiffy Lube, and they try to up-sale you like any business. This location hit a new low of that. We pull in for an oil change, they ask us if weve been there before, we respond yes but not to this specific Jiffy Lube, and they reply no problem because they should have all our information in the system already. Get out of car, go up to counter, and the gentleman asks what wed like done. I tell him just an oil change, and he asks if we want synthetic. I respond with, put in there whatever it is they put in there last time. Come to find out, he decides to put some of their more expensive variety in the car without consulting me of the price, and I only found out after they finished and gave me the bill. I protest that its never been this expensive for an oil change, and his defense is I told him to put in synthetic oil. I replied no, I said put in what Jiffy Lube put in last time. I even go grab my old receipt from my last oil change to show them whats always been put in the car, and only at this point did he admit that Oh, we dont have any information for you in the system because you got it done at a different location. We put in whatever oil is recommended by the manufacturer, and your car recommended this synthetic oil. Went in for a simple oil change, left paying almost double the normal price. Id avoid this place, but if you do go make them spell out and price every single thing theyre trying to do. Theres a good chance Ill pass on Jiffy Lube in the future if they condone business practices such as this.Update: I emailed the owner below a couple of weeks ago based on their response. I havent heard back.

Not a welcoming staff. Also they dont put things back the way they were. When doing an oil change they took half the screws holding the undercarriage guard and didnt bother to put them back.

Went in for an inspection and I was not greeted just told leave keys and registration on dashboard and it would be 30 min wait. I left to runs some errands came back to a $65 total. I was told I had a headlight out and they changed a $23 light bulb (without my approval) because I didnt leave a phone number. Then rudely told they could take it out and fail the inspection and would have to come back another day. My husband made sure everything they check for was functioning before I brought in the vehicle so there was no way the bulb was out. I will not be coming back to inspect any of my other 4 vehicles at this or any jiffy lube!

Asked for an inspection and they just straight up didn’t do it. Even worse, my engine light is on now and it wasn’t before. Didn’t call me to confirm price of a part and put it in anyways. Took 1.5 hours for an oil change. All around awful experience

Duped my spouse into buying the synthetic oil blends on a low mileage vehicle that is only driven locally when conventional oil would suffice raising cost of oil change service to $88.00. Unreal!....Glad Jiffy Lube teaches management and staff on deception and unnecessary purchases instead of customer satisfaction.

Hadnt read the reviews until my third and final trip here. Spoiler: theyre probably all true. I cant figure out why everyone here could not care less about working or even pretending to care. The manager is repeatedly snacking and walking around while I am waiting for service. She sits at the desk as I type this chatting to her friends on her cell phone. They spilled oil all over the engine bay and are now spraying it off with the pressurized air. Give me a break. Well see if I make it home...

Tire pressure light came on in my car, headed off to Jiffy Lube and they fixed me right up within minutes, no charge. Nice!

Im fairly certain they stole my GPS, and they were rude and insulting because I didnt want the expensive synthetic oil. Previous to that, one of the guys told me a sob story about how he had to ride a bicycle to work and needed a car, and I felt sorry for him and sold him my old car for $100. A month later I saw an Asian family driving it, so he had scammed me.

I was kind of skeptical of all the negative reviews before I went there, but now I know theyre pretty accurate. I dont have high expectations for customer service at all, but the service here is pretty bad.

Went there with Groupon voucher, the service is fast but in a slumber way. The voucher includes a Signature oil change, tire rotation and rain-X glass treatment. I find out from their brochure that Signature oil change includes a lot of inspections, which I highly suspected that they did not perform it seriously. The car is not vacuumed as promised when I get into the car, the air pressure of my tire is not checked, as I find out the tire pressure for two of the tires are not enough. They do tire rotation by just exchanging my front tire to the back and the back tire to the front. Air filter exchange cost me $25, which I think is overcharged. In general, the service is done in a very slumber way and need a lot of improvement, and I wont pay full price for that kind of service. The only plus is that they provide free engine oil and other fluids top up within 3000 miles of service up to 2 quarts and 2 times. Good for those car with minor oil leak.
