I can’t even begin where to start,, So I went into the Cos bar to purchase a long time foundation I have been using forever by Giorgio Armani,, they no longer sell the brand but she recommend Westman Atelier foundation because I’m literally melting in this southern humidity. Michele and the ladies got me matched with 2 sticks which blended perfectly and seamless everyone was super sweet and love the Southern Hospitality,, not only I found my perfect foundation,, I found a new home to call to all my cosmetic needs,, I prefer the store now,, instead online!!! I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves!! This was by far the best makeup shopping experience I ever had and these ladies definitely know their stuff!! Received wonderful samples looking forward to their help with my up coming vowel renewal. I’m Wearing both sticks blended thank you ladies will be coming back soon!!!!

My first experience in visiting Cos Bar was wonderful. My friend and I were greeted by a young, vibrant brunette that patiently educated my friend and I on some perfumes we had not yet been introduced to. She took the time to show us each and every Tom Ford scent and compared them with other scents she found similar throughout the store. We made great purchases and were invited back for the Cos Bar “party.” Upon returning a week later for the “party,” the older white women running the show, whom I assume are managers, let me know that I could only spin the wheel if I made a $300 or more purchase. They were short with me after every question and when I asked for some help with the perfumes, I was rushed and spoken to rudely. After we brought a deal on their website to the older woman’s attention, she denied they had such a thing, only to find after doing her research that they did in fact have that deal. She told my friend, “good eye.” My overall concern with Cos Bar was the treatment we received. We were customers, there to shop, had shopped there previously and were still treated poorly. Moreover, holier than thou attitude of the retail women was unacceptable and uncalled for. I think some professionalism, patience, and kindness could go a long way for this business.

The best cosmetic store in Charleston! My mother & I walked in and were immediately greeted by two employees. They had masks & were following CDC social distancing guidelines, as well as the little station set up of masks, gloves & hand sanitizer at the front, Which we haven’t seen anywhere! But we’re extremely happy to see. The employees were attentive, friendly & went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we wanted as well as signing us up for their rewards program so we can shop online. They have a wonderful selection for everyone, amazing customer service & fair prices. Wish we could’ve stopped by again, Nonetheless we will be back! Highly recommend.

Having never visited a Cosbar before I was not sure what to expect, especially having sensitive skin and Rosacea. Their staff was extremely helpful and navigating all the choices of products went really well. Some of the products I took with me and some were mailed with a few small surprises and very heartfelt note from Karen. She was incredible. Thanks so much ladies for a fun and informative experience!

The customer service was amazing. I cant imagine how many people come in and want their makeup done for an event without an appointment. This was the case for me and with a three product minimum, I was more than happy because they had my favorite Trish McEvoy. She educated me on how to use the products I already have and made my eyes super pretty for a wedding we were attending. Dont even go to blue mercury.

Love the staff especially Karen and selections are first rate especially love ta ta harper.

Cos Bar is one of the few spots in Charleston that sells high end cosmetics, which is the only appeal. I went in most recently to inquire about products for a specific purpose. I was hoping to get honest recommendations from professionals who frequently work with these products. Shame on me for expecting an honest recommendation, and shame on them for using the opportunity to push their sales goals/quotas. The sales ladies had left the closet door open with the white board exposed showing their competition to sell specific products, which were incidentally, the only recommendations I received. NO THANKS!

Incredible mens fragrance collection

Excellent products and a Great Knowledgeable Friendly Staff

This is the best store in Charleston (next to Blue Mercury and Stella Nova) for niche fragrance and high-end cosmetics. They carry perfumes and cologne by Kilian, Creed, Sisley, Acqua di Parma and Tom Fords full collection as well as others. For cosmetics they carry Dior, YSL, Laura Mercier, Nars, Trish McEvoy, Clé de Peau, La Mer, etc. However the staff is so condescending and pushy that I will never spend my money in that shop again. I have to wear my good jewelry and carry my Chanel to receive any semblance of decent service there. Save your money for the more friendly Blue Mercury (they have the only Chanel counter in Charleston) or Stella Nova salon (who carrys Kevyn Auçoin, some Bond no 9, Comptoir Sud Pacifique and Juliette Has A Gun).
