Melange ALWAYS has amazing vegan / vegetarian options.It is also locally owned / run which is always a great thing.And mia’s panderia always has delicious vegan baked goodies there too.My favorite thing that I have gotten is the yum yum tacos! I had them like 6 times over the past year.They’re homemade tortillas with ramen noodles and teriyaki tofu topped with siracha and cilantro- combining to create a to die for flavor.I believe this dish is loved by vegans and non vegans alike !It’s absolutely delicious and their rice has a very simple and wholesome flavor too.The staff and owner are so sweet and will even run your food our curbside, I love this place !(The boba tea and smoothies are great also)

My sister told me about Melange Cafe a while back, so while in town yesterday we decided to stop in! I am so happy we did! It was delicious! We got the pork and steak taco lunch combos and shared, mango and raspberry teas, and the best smoked salmon everything bagels!! We will definitely be going back soon!!

Their tacos are INSANELY good! I typically get the carnitas, beef, or mac n cheese, but you cant go wrong with any variety. You cannot beat their 2 tacos, rice and a drink combo for lunch. They also have delicious coffees, boba tea, and baked goods. Do yourself a favor and stop by this gem of a café, you will not regret it!

SO GOOD. The taco combo was amazing. I had the steak taco, which is SO much more authentic that what the Charleston area usually has available. The blackberry tea is delicious. The muffins are moist and 2 is the perfect serving size. And the Spanish rice just tops off the whole thing. Affordable, unique, and personable staff. What more could you ask for? Will be frequenting often!

I love stopping in to grab a coffe and/orbreakdast bagel on my way to work. The manager is such a sweet woman and the coffe is always perfect!

First time here and the tacos were delicious. Im a vegetarian and the soyrizo tacos were great! I also enjoyed an iced coffee and an aloha smoothie. Fantastic!

Great café serving excellent and unique dishes with a nice staff. The owner Cathie is one of a kind, and were so lucky to have Mélange in the local area. Lunch here for a good filling meal.

I had the vegan island burger and the soyrizo taco combo plate. Im blown away! As a vegan, its so great to see the intention and effort put into vegan options at restaurants. Most restaurants will put an obligatory vegan option on their menu but that is not the case for Melange! They really care about the food they are making and serving. The chili flavor in the soyrizo was deep and the tortillas tasted fresh. The vegan island burger had a savory glaze paired with a sweet pineapple slice. I would 10/10 recommend this place. Cant wait to come back!

Kathy is such an amazing cook... Her food is always delicious and shes the nicest person. I highly recommend getting in and seeing for yourself. The food is uniquely created from her travels around the world.

Very disappointing and very greasy. Waited 20 minutes for 6 tacos and rice and didnt even get the rice. The young kid making the drinks and taking the orders looked like was extremely slow, the gentleman in front of me ordered a Frappuccino and he waited 10 minutes for his drink only to have the kid make it wrong. He walked out and told the kid not to worry about making another because he didnt have time to wait on another. Kid never even apologized.

Love the food!! Pork tacos and kimchi fried rice with an egg on top are my go to meals, never been disappointed. The tapioca pearls are also always cooked thoroughly, my favorite being the coconut boba!😋

The staff was kind and helpful and the beef and chicken tacos were so good. My husband said that there basic coffee was also very good. I enjoyed the Thai Tea.

Fantastic little cafe. I had the steak burrito bowl and my son had a pork and steak taco. All was delicious. Staff were very friendly. Our coffees were perfect. My son also had the Honeydew Milk Tea which he loved. We will definitely go back. Oh.... we loved the mexican hot chocolate coffee cake too. Go try this unique little spot!

I love going to Melange! They always make my boba tea just how I like it and they have vegan options 🙌🏼 make sure to get extra tortillas because they are sooooooo good! Everyone is kind and the place is always clean!

A little tough to get to being downtown, but it’s worth the price of admission. The steak in the bowl I got was slow cooked and very tender. The ingredients are very high quality and sits light on your stomach. The latte’s are sweet and well made. Definitely worth the trip!

I go there almost everyday, they have great customer service and their products are amazing. A taste i could never forget. Its my favorite cafe in charleston.

This place brings uniqueness and culinary magic to Charleston for a reasonable price. My taste buds were delighted to be served a delicious cup of regular coffee, and the Mexican Hot Chocolate roll is a must try. Added bonus the service is super friendly. Amazing tacos! Delicious desserts! But most of all top of line customer service ! I didn’t get off work until 5 one night so they stayed an extra 30 mins for me so I could pick up dinner. 10/10 highly recommend !
