I’ve been going to target optical now for three years since moving to Charleston. Jen has always helped me out and she is amazing to work with! As well as Donna! Donna is an absolute sweetheart. Exams are quick and the turn around time to get new glasses is super quick! I recommend them to all of my coworkers and friends! You won’t be disappointed!

The staff and Dr were friendly and efficient. I didnt plan on getting my eyes examined that day. I was shopping and stopped by to make an appointment. They had immediate availability and took me right in!I will positively go back again!

Just received my first pair of glasses thanks to Target Optical Charleston. The staff were really helpful and knowledgeable during the exam and they helped me pick frames that look great! The store was clean and I felt very comfortable with their sanitation and safety procedures.

Target Optical inside the Target on Sam Rittenburg Boulevard offers quick and quality eye care and eye wear at a good value. This store is very convenient when shopping and easy to access and get what you need. The professionals here really care and do a good job at making sure that you get everything that you need.

Extremely rude! Didnt even seem like the older lady working wanted to help. She not only looked annoyed but was too busy chit-chatting. What a shame, wont see me here again!

Great experience. Was in and out in less than 40 minutes. The doctor was wonderful and very knowledge and told me my last glasses purchased a year ago was the wrong prescription that didn’t even address my astigmatism. He troubleshoots your vision to ensure you have the correct prescription. He’s wonderful!

Worked with Jennifer and my child was in and out within an hour. Went during rush hour and the service was great. Ask for Jennifer and tell her Isabella and her son recommended her.

Horrible experience would never recommend them to anyone. They called me to pick my glasses and I get there and they say my lenses aren’t in the frame because they use Lens Crafters to cut the lenses ( so they’re not ready and why did you call me here?). Come back the second time and they put the wrong prescription in my frame I can’t see anything. Come back a third time and I still can’t wear the frame more than 20 mins without getting a headache. Absolutely ridiculous and a waste of time and money. Will never go here again and don’t recommend them to anyone

I was skeptical going to a retail center for an eye exam but Dr. Bedell was excellent and very friendly. He was very timely and efficient with my annual eye exam. The equipment was also modern and clean. The rest of the staff here was also very nice and helpful and helped me pick out a great looking pair of glasses! They also help those without vision health coverage by offering specials or discounts.

Besides providing me beautiful glasses, they have spent at least three hours cumulatively fitting my glasses. So patient and very skilled.

Made an appointment online a month in advance. Received several email confirmations about it. Showed up and the lady working was surprised I was there for an appointment and informed me I couldnt have an appointment as there was no eye doctor available. I made this appointment a month in advance!! I understand online reservation systems might make mistakes but you would think during that month someone would be looking at their system to check appointments!!Edit- 2 years later and I keep receiving spam emails (despite me unsubscribing multiple times) from them about booking my next appointment.

I picked a pair of glasses I liked and found that they do not sell Transitions but Luxoticas version of takingTrans. I tried them out for 2 months and decided I wanted something darked that what was offered. I went back to return them with no issues whatsoever! Customer service was excellent!

My salesperson was great. i changed my mind on lenses when i got home, she made the change, and said we owe you $50for the difference between Transition ($100) and Transition Extractive($150). When i picked them up, another salesperson disagreed, using some shell game with the figures, saying see, she gave you a discount so it works out the same. So since i was self-pay with no insurance, i ended up paying full price. Not happy. Of course, my receipt only shows the total, not the breakdown by lens choice, standard Transition lenses, etc., so I have no proof. I think she was the store manager. Gotta keep profits up. Ill go to Target next time, they were $25 less, but Pearle had a vg recommendation, and i hate going into Target.

Stephanie assisted me in selecting the best pair of eyeglasses for me and she was awesome!! My new eyeglasses were ready within a week and I love them!
