I have been going here for years. I feel blessed that I have an asian market so close to home. They are always helpful finding me items I cant find. They have all the hard to find asian items at really good price.

Fresh section is minimal, but such a great variety of everything else! The lady at the counter was so helpful, and even recommended I put an item back and gave me alternatives for my recipe.Will definitely be back!!

This is a nice, little Chinese store. The product selection is extensive. This is a great place for foodies looking for Asian ingredients to prepare Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, etc dishes. Prices are very reasonable. Check it out. You wont be disappointed.

This market was very organized! I was able to find everything I needed in order to do a sushi date with my husband later. I also found other goodies as well! Everything was also fairly priced and I enjoyed coming and will be going there for any of my Oriental needs.

Very convenient location. This is a mid-size Asian market - its smaller than Super-G but larger than most of the competition in the area. Very good selection, particularly for Southeast Asian foods. A good variety of Thai and Vietnamese brands.Prices are reasonable, and theres a good selection of well priced meat cuts and vegetables even if youre not looking for Oriental ingredients.

Best Vietnamese/Asian market in Charlotte! Ive been shopping at Ahn Dao ever since they opened 20 years ago. I still remember the young couple tending their young son in their single store shop. Now that son is an adult with his own family, the store has moved and is four times the size but the friendliness of the store has not changed. The quality and selection of the food hasnt changed either. Its a wonderful place to shop if youre looking for the real deal.

I love shopping here! Clean, neat and friendly! This is the one place Ive found (so far) that carries oyster mushrooms. The customer service is amazing!

Clean and well stocked. Need that certain brand of odd spice or a jar of pickled leeks? Its here. Smallish selection of fresh fruits and veggies. Small meat counter. Nice staff.

Not a huge selection but they have all the oils and suauses and great selection of cut meats and unbeatable prices on pork. They were breaking down a pig when I got there so the cuts are as fresh as they come! Again unbeatable price !

Which stumbled onto this place by accident and enjoyed it as a treasured gem! we have a lot of really great foods drinks and other supplies! Definitely suggested

The vegetable there are great the selection is the best I have seen in Charlotte for Asian food. The people were very nice and spoke English.

My favorite place to go for seasonings and produce when making Vietnamese foods! Produce is regularly cheaper and better quality than their equivalents in supermarkets. Large variety of noodles, snacks, and sauces.

This is a convenient oriental store right off of South Boulevard. Store is quite spacious compared to most and the selection is decent. Not as much of a selection as other Asian markets but lots of varieties of noodle.

Nice grocer with lots of cultural goods at a very nice price.

Very friendly and helpful. They had three forms of the thing i came for and they helped me find it even though im sure i was calling it the wrong thing.They have koji cakes and yeast balls you can use to make miso or homemade chinese rice wine . They also had what appeared to be sake lees if your into amazake or fermentation.

I went to pick up wheat noodles (oriental) and they did not have even that, which is very basic grocery item on any Chinese store. Store lady did not have any knowledge on products in store.

It was close to Harris Teeter but her stuff was overpriced & I didnt see the store in the strip mall anymore I thought it was closed for good but it seem like the store just relocated up the street. I rather go to International Supermarket/Super G Mart to get all the things I need for a lower price

Small compare to many Asian store that Id been. My favorite is thier fish market. The guys in that section are very confidant with a nice attitude and really gove you good service

Interesting variety, including items not found elsewhere. But I wonder how many things are past the (non-existent) expiration dates, things are a little dusty.

The store has many items as would be expected in a typical Asian grocery store. However, on this date, they had no kimchi. That is a no-no in my book. It was mentioned they would have some in two weeks as a new batch was being made for them. I didnt ask where it was being made or where it was coming from. I will shop elsewhere.

Large variety of sauces, rice, dry goods, desserts, teas, dumplings and fish.Smaller selection of other meats and produce.It looks like they had prepackaged meals.Most of the packaging is not in English so if that’s all you speak, you might have a harder time. :)I picked up a bag of bones for my dogs for $1/lb for big marrow bones. Solid deal. As well as a glucosamine/MSM/chondroiton for $8.99 (large box).Cash only.

Wide selection of Vietnamese groceries....frozen, chilled, or fresh produce. Also, a useful stock of household items, such as kitchen tools unique to southeast Asia, like XL mortar-and-pestle, long-handled noodle strainer, and spoons for pho. Overwhelming inventory of packaged/processed goods, from powders to pastes to noodles and rice paper. They very kindly write produce names in Vietnamese and English.....so many that are atypical to the USA! Southeast Asia has two enormous fruits that are as big as watermelons: durian and jackfruit. On my recent visit, they had one of each behemoth near the cash register.....18 x 12, each with a textured exterior. Jackfruit is very nutritious but I still need to learn about durian. I like shopping g and learning here.
