When I first moved to Charlotte 2 years ago, I was disappointed leaving my mechanic behind in Atlanta. I contacted my old mechanic for referral, and he recommended Figs. I have been taking my vehicles hear ever since, and I am extremely grateful to have found an auto repair company that treats you like family. I completely see why these guys have been in business for so long, they are the epitome of quality service.

Great service and love their process / system. I was able to make an appt online, got a full quote in advance to approve and they outlined every aspect of what would be done to my car in writing. Appreciate their transparency and honesty. No sales pitches or pressure to add on additional services and they even followed up a few days later to make sure everything was running smoothly on my car. Highly recommend!

These guys charge me 1500 dollars and than did not inspect my car as requested. What a Ripp Off!!! Changed fly wheel $1000 change starter$500. Then failed inspect and didnt even call let me know. Waited I got to shop and paid then oh by the way it didnt pass inspect. Have spent thousands with these guys but will not spend another dime. What a scam. 👎 Mike G.

COST WAY TOO MUCH!!!I was charged $258 for an alignment on a 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Supercharge. This cost is more than what Land Rover charges, so might as well go to them and get the amenities. And to set it off, later I see multiple photos of my car posted on Instagram. Please tell me why my hood is up when all they were suppose to do was an alignment?! Find a better place!

So at first figs auto had me very upset but they absolutely fix the problem I had with them and my vehicle...the appreciation they showed me made me change my review I appreciate it greatly and would highly recommend them for any auto repairs...

Figs repaired my Toyota Tacoma after I discovered a red fluid leak that was pooling on my driveway. They quickly diagnosed the issue, took photos to document, and repaired the truck within a day. Overall great service and prompt repairs with little hassle.

I’m new to Charlotte. I bought a used truck last fall that was due for its 100k check up. I knew what I needed checked. I was treated professionally by everyone, Tom, Jeremy and Greg. They checked everything and made a few suggestions. Thank God they discovered that my rear brakes were 95% gone. That wouldn’t have ended well. Jeremy made a few suggestions. We deliberated and I chose to go all in with getting the rotors done too. I never felt that I was being coerced into something I didn’t need. The guys were very straight forward. They offered to shuttle me to work but I managed to work that out on my own. Nice to know that’s an option. I should add that with getting an oil change for 80.00 they did a complete 35 point check check so I’d know what needed to be done. Since my truck would be there all day I asked if they could get everything done that day.It was great that everything got taken care of and I wouldn’t have to leave it again. One and done!🙌🏻 Thanks guys! I’ll be sure to spread the word!

Pros: Proximity to uptown, uber/lift drop-off if needed, punctuality, price...Cons: The location can scare some but me, my wife and many others Ive sent there have never had any issues.Review: I had an old shop I went to for almost 15 years before it changed ownership and went downhill.. luckily it appears Figs did the opposite! Ive been going to Figs for a while now for several different issues with several different cars and have always had great service! Highly recommend!

Figs removed old shocks and struts and installed new ones all the way around my 2002 Toyota 4runner. Greg kept me posted on the repair and contacted me during to make sure we agreed on the height of the adjustable front struts. Awesome results, thanks Figs!July 2018: Brought 4runner in for an oil change; switching from conventional to synthetic and a tire rotation. Sway arm stabilizers were broken in the front. Also, front pads and rotors needed to be replaced. A few other things as well. Greg prioritized the needed repairs with a timeline and we did the pads/rotors, stabilizers, oil change, and balanced tires to fix a vibration at highway speeds. Again, job well done. Excellent communication throughout the process. Greg goes above and beyond to make customers fully aware of the process and need for services. Thanks Figs

These gents are great! I am only in Charlotte for a few months, during which my car has decided to turn on me and I have visited more times in 3 months than Id care to admit. They were always fair, responsive, thorough, and honest. Today I went in for a check engine light on and a mass air flow sensor code and they took great care of it quickly. They took pity on me and my frequent visits, waived my fee, and sent me on my merry way. Class act with good ol Napa parts. Would definitely reccomend giving them your business!

Greg and team always always deliver. As a woman its always intimidating walking into a new auto repair shop. But these guys are always respectful, professional and great to deal with. I have been taking my cars for over a year now. And they always get me back on the road quickly and safely.

Received a smoke test to determine which hose was leaking. Repaired and complete within 24 hrs.

These guys are the best! I have been ripped off by auto shops in the past, and I love going to these guys knowing that I am getting honest and high quality work done. They truly go the extra mile for all of their customers and I would recommend them to anyone in the Charlotte area.

Well, I just called to see if they can do a door repair and one guy picked up and he said they do but he said he cant do until thursday and today is Tuesday 8:30. I appreciate his honesty. Then I asked him if they do oil change and if I can bring my car for oil change he said he cant do until Thursday. Just make sure to call before you go. I am from out of State and oil change in most places are a walk in service.

I have been taking my minivan to Figs for about a year now. They have been EXCELLENT and I am so happy that I found this place. I have had a mix of some major ($1000 plus) work down to random oil changes and every time has been a positive experience.

Figs replaced my tires and brakes. I am very satisfied with the work performed as well as the price. I also appreciate that they did not try to up-sell me to get other things done on my 12 year old car. Most of the other auto shops do this. They have earned my business moving forward.

Fantastic experience !! Unfortunate transmission issue, but Figs gave me plenty of options unlike the dealer. To be fair I have known the owner for years and he is all about integrity and does a quality job. We just went on a trip and the van drove beautiful. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Our car recently needed a new transmission. It had 200K miles on it. Greg at Figs was able to find a used transmission with only 100K miles. Though it was still costly, it was much less expensive than going through the dealer and the transmission came with a 3-year warranty. I was very happy with the service from Figs and would recommend it to others.

Very pleased with recent service at Figs including a state inspection and oil change. The service manager and technicians were kind and polite. Ill be back for sure, Im uptown often and appreciate how close Figs is just out of uptown. Even got a good cup of hot coffee!

Figs Auto Repair was a life saver! After being serviced at my dealership and literally drained of my funds, I was desperately looking for a quality auto repair with fair pricing. I searched the internet and found Figs Auto Repair. They had great reviews and I called them as soon as they opened. Greg answered my call, took my information and called me back as promised within moments with a estimate for the service needed. I couldnt believe the pricing, it was very affordable and even better they were able to get me in same day. I made a 2pm appointment to replace my driver side axle and they had me serviced in/out by 3:30pm. Amazing! Highlights of the experience was receiving a text link confirming my estimated price given over the phone. After agreeing via the link I noticed that when I came to get my service, it was a live application where I could see service notes that the technician made while working on my vehicle. Sitting in the waiting area for news on your vehicle can be daunting but it was like I had a live feed to my technician to keep abreast of everything going on with my vehicle. They had wifi so I was able to log back in for work while I waited. Tom was very hospitable and assisted me with other price quotes I wanted to get checked on for my vehicle. My technician, Norman, came out and explained in detail what was going on with my vehicle and thankfully it wasnt as bad as my dealership had previously relayed. I felt like I was in great hands, Tom, Greg and Norman did a great job in taking care of my vehicle and I look forward to going back for future car care needs. Also, their warranty on their work is outstanding! I highly recommend Figs Auto Repair for car service repairs. The customer service and car care was excellent!!

Great find five minutes from Uptown. Had my car in and out quickly, took the time to explain what they had found. Made practical recommendations for services that may be needed in the near future without being too salesy, which I appreciate. Being able to review and approve the quote from my email was a big plus. Will be back.

Figs gives you that small town familyowned mechanic feel in the big city of Charlotte. Their entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and very professional. They went above and beyond in replacing my engine which had blown and was not an easy fix. Tom and Greg kept me updated throughout the whole process. Oscar worked on my car putting in a whole new engine and I couldnt have been more impressed with his work. I found figs and went with them after reading their reviews. I hope this helps anyone out that is looking for a mechanic who has your best interests in mind. Recently had major motor issues while out of town. I was recommended Figs by another shop due to the severe nature of my problems. We ended up having to replace my entire engine. Everyone at the shop are extremely professional and helpful. Greg was great with communication and keeping me up to date with everything. The shop went out of their way to get my vehicle running again and Greg has followed up afterwards to make sure I havent had any issues.I feel I was treated with honesty and respect. They held to the price quote I was given even tho they had way more time and labor than estimated.I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I was lucky to stumble upon Figs while looking for an auto repair shop near home. In the last year theyve taken care of two of my cars. Ive used their services from a simple thermostat replacement to replacing an entire engine. Greg and Jeff have always treated me with respect and transparency. Figs evidently has a strong team of mechanics in the shop too. Car troubles can be stressful but these guys make it easy. I cant thank them enough!

Was charged 2 hours of labor to replace 2 fuses! Also, I dropped car off the night before with all 4 windows up and fully operational. The car was returned to me with 2 windows down and one window would not roll back up. The repair shop lied and said the window was already down before I dropped it off with them, however was impossible as the car was dropped off the night before OUTSIDE of their locked gate. I would not and did not leave my car outside of the shop with two windows down overnight!! That makes no sense! They could have at least repaired my window if they were going to greatly overcharge me for replacing those fuses!! I have been going and referring others to Figs for a long time now and I am unsure if I will continue to do those things in the future!

Thought I had a serious suspension problem so made an appointment. Very friendly technician thoroughly inspected the vehicle. He told me I just needed to have some joints greased, and took care of that. Problem gone! And it cost me next to nothing.Some other shop could have sold me a bunch of parts and labor and I would not have known it wasn’t necessary. Fig’s: a great shop with integrity.

This shop has to be the worst in all of Charlotte. Took a part in to get replaced the praise was far but after waiting 2 days for completed work to be done I just took my parts to another shop. Poor customer service, lazy front in staff. I wouldnt recommend this joi tto my worst enemy.

Fast and friendly service

Fig has always been my go to guy when repairs were needed on my vehicles ever since I came to Charlotte 7 years ago. Never had to take a vehicle back for the same issue and has always been up front and honest.

I took my truck there to get my water pump repaired. I was quoted a price and then called back later with price more than doubling. they said they would work it out but didnt, lie right to my face. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever.

Figs is a ripoff!!!! I took all my cars there!! I took my car in for a headlight that was out. They charged me $160.00 and didnt fix anything!!!! Fig said, just drive it it will be okay. WTH!!!!! So i went to auto zone after a friend and co-worker said it was a fuse. It cost me $3.23!!!!! That was for a WHOLE PACK OF FUSES!!!! Keep taking your car there if you want to, but you will eventually see that they over charge people. They charged my brother for an inspection that they didnt even do!!!! I cant wait until the LAW!!!! shuts them down for good!!!!

Ive used Figs 3 times now. The 1st was a complete inspection of my 2012 Miata I had just bought from Carmax. Greg was thorough and the service was fairly priced. The 2nd was my 1st oil change and I needed the tires balanced. Again, thorough, friendly and fairly priced. Today I brought my Miata to Greg because the drain holes were clogged causing water to get in the car. He drove me to work then cleared the drains. AND HE DIDNT CHARGE ME A DIME. Im so happy to have found an honest mechanic.
