I went into Sephora to find a new skin care product line and regime, and found everything I needed and more. Tom, their sales rep, was insightful, knowledgeable, helpful, and most of all enjoyable to work with. He answered questions for me that I didnt even know I had. He wanted to make sure I was educated as much as possible about the product, how to use it and what I should notice about my skin after using the product a few weeks. Anytime I go into this store, I will be looking for him. He knows his products, and is clearly passionate about it!!! I couldnt have asked for a better customer service rep! Toms the best!
Our nice was able to use an online gift card that she had sent to my sister, and the cashier was able to help us with that. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
Your average mall Sephora. The sales staff were super helpful and friendly. The have a great parfum selection for it to be on the smaller side.
Very helpful staff!! They also were unbelievably kind my granddaughter. Makeup is amazing in coverage and price. Will definitely visit again.
Great service. Always have what I need.
So went here today to pickup a few things for my wife, I must say I was very impressed with the customer service I received here, I am a construction worker, and stopped in after a long day at work today, never felt uncomfortable at all, and actually felt very welcome, from the lady who greeted me, to the lady who helped me, and the 2 guys at the cash register, I will definitely be returning to this location again, and will recommend it to my friends as well..Great Job Sephora staff!! 😊😊😊
This Sephora has always been just alright. It would have scored lower had the woman I spoke with last week hadn’t been so nice to me. CHANGE YOUR STORE HOURS ON GOOGLE for the love of everything! This store is pretentious and has a few if not several people who think they are better than most people and it shows. I was super shocked when the woman last week was so nice to me. But I looked on google tonight and saw oh it’s the only store open until 8, I’ll run over there to return the faulty foundation I received from the other Sephora and guess what? They’ve been closed for over 30 minutes when I walked up. Please change your hours and please treat people equally. I have so many people turn their nose up at me because I look different (and only at this location) it’s pathetic. But that one woman last week was y’all’s saving grace on this review.
Im very grateful for the personal assistance that Tammie gave me. It has taken me 34 years to get some makeup that actually matches my skin tone. That means a lot.
Lilah was incredibly helpful and polite in helping us with our purchase.
Excellent customer service! Girls are experienced on the products.
Mira is such an awesome person to come in contact with at Sephora South Park! She’s professional, has the product knowledge, and doesn’t mind answering questions or give advice about products! I always go to the South Park location because she is someone I can trust not to just sell me anything. I recommend anyone to stop by and ask for Mira. She is someone I hope Sephora keeps and she deserves recognition for her outstanding customer service!
They weren’t even open. Had workers and looked very open but I was told they were closed. Disappointed that was the only store I wanted to go into, first time at a Sephora not impressed
Helped me get foundation for a mosquito bite one time! The sales rep helped me match it exactly to my skin tone! Definitely recommend!
Nice store, associates were helpful and ready to answer any questions.
I have never really visited a Sephora store. I do a lot of online shopping. I am so glad I was able to go into the specific store. Everyone was so helpful and kind. I was able to get what I needed and was in an out.
I get with today’s society of Corona and Mask you need to be more acceptable to your customers who have medical conditions in which they can not wear a mask. For someone like me who has a lung disease and already has a hard time breathing adding a piece of cloth over my face makes it even more difficult. And no, I don’t want to have you pick my items for me, I want to be able to buy my daughter her Christmas myself and not have you pick it out. No I don’t want to order it, because colors aren’t as they seem in person vs online. Y’all need to do better and accommodate ALL of your customers!!!
I wasn’t sure what beauty products to grab but Alex was definitely helpful with my shipping trip. I was looking for a daily skin care routine product and mentioned that a few previous products gave me a harsh reaction and wasn’t sure what to grab. He recommended First Aid Beauty and was amazing, professional, and confident when he explained why each product was important. I’ve used first aid beauty for two weeks and it’s amazing. Definitely will be back. Protect Alex at all cost.
If you’re looking for men’s skincare….this location only carries Kiehl’s. I asked a male staff member if they carried Jack Black men’s skincare. He had to ask a fellow staff member and then informed me they only had Kiehl’s. Staff standing around and not attending to the customers. Less than desirable experience.
The color matching that some staff have done have been completely off. I had to return several foundations more than once and I live 30 mins away. The layout of the store is very nice.
Great customer service, best Sephora in Charlotte:)
Very annoyed! Hours marked till 8pm on Google. I get here at 7 to find out they close at 6! Please keep business hours updated so people dont waste time making useless trips here.
Staff were helpful and store was organized.
Great customer service from start to finish.
I have a huge collection of all of the stickers you get when you walk in. Forever loyal to this place.
Today was my first time visiting a Sephora store since COVID. They have good procedures in place and the staff were helpful. The girl up front at the “gate” area asked what I was stopping by for and energetically directed me towards what I needed. After I got what I needed, I walked around the store some more; another associate approached me to make sure I was finding what I need. When I checked out, the man who handled my transaction was super nice and offered me my birthday free gift even though it was in June. After I checked out I noticed a product up at the register that the man who checked me out chatted with me about for a while. Everyone was friendly and helpful!
Trisha was a great help! She really listened to my concerns and needs and applied that when helping pick out the best serum and moisturizer for me. Anytime I have questions regarding my skin I will be going to her!!
They are very knowledgeable about their products and skills.
Love Sephora!! Lots of options and plenty of associates to help!!
Went in here with my girl. Why did she bring me in here. Omg please let me leave
Went in for my birthday gift a few minutes ago - before I could finish my sentence the cashier said they were out. I asked if there was a substitute. And she said they were out and dismissed me. She was very short and rude. Customer service was lacking.
My daughter is addicted..lol...loves her makeup and beauty products.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dani was great and signed me up for Sephora Insider and although my birthday had passed months ago, she went ahead and gave me free samples they give out for your birthday month. I thought that was very nice of her.
Only a certain amount of people can get in and very big sephora employees are very nice
Great selection and customer service. They are really helpful and taking the precautions.
Its sephora its good
The well aged women that goes by the name Tammy needs a raise, the way she talks to customers like they are human is something that’s rare to find these days.I’ve been into makeup for years, attending school for it currently actually but I always avoid going to physical makeup stores because of news reports on women of color getting mistreated a lot and it’s a fear of mine to go to a place I love and get dehumanizing treatment.I took a chance anyways since Pat McGrath was in store and Ms. Tammy greeted me with a welcoming smile, she was very helpful. I was interested in sampling the foundation from Pat McGrath Labs. 💄💄She was very nice about it and did not give me any uneasy feeling. 💋💋 She knows how to treat customers !!!!
I love their lip stains. They have a computer monitor that puts the makeup look on you virtually. It is ideal so you can see exactly what you look like.
Sephora has upgraded to a beautiful shopping experience. And what I mean by experience is the store is bigger better high end selections etc... but the service is horrible. People of color beware they think you stealing. But won’t help you when you need help. Go figure.
I was greeted but no one asked if I needed help. I asked one lady to help me color match and was very informative and helpful. They have a nice selection as the store is big but with the many employees in there, some should greet/help more customers willingly.
I had a wonderful experience here I cant believe they only have two and a half star rating. The girls that were working here were absolutely great and they had a lot of input to help me get everything I needed to get prepared for my girls bachelorette party weekend.
Really small boutique. They will likely stock the brand you want, but wont offer the full accessory/tools of the line. Call before making the trip or order online (which is what I ended up doing while in store).Parking is horrendous. Youll have to park in a lot two blocks away and walk if the few spaces for retail (mostly residential spaces) arent open.
I love Sephora but this location is really really busy. I have only been able to get a salesperson to help me 2 out of 5 times. Some of the beauty consultants have been nice but most seem too busy to talk to.
Not too long ago I came to this store to look for eyebrow gel. I walked past at least 4-5 associates who were all in sporadic groups all over the store laughing and talking to each other. I walked right in front of a few of these groups and received no acknowledgment. I didnt even get an eye-glance. After searching around the store for 10 minutes for this eyebrow gel, I finally found it. For once, I actually had a few questions, but everywhere I looked, there were absolutely no associates. They were all in random corners of the store. So I just grabbed what I thought would be okay and went on to find a brush. The lowest priced brush I found myself was $10.... [I get makeup can be expensive and the tools are more expensive, but for a brush that looks like it came out of a kids paintset, no thanks.] So I went and stood by the front counter until those associates stopped talking to each other so I could ask if there were any alternate, smaller, cheaper brushes. They asked if I was ready to check out and I told them what I needed. The lady then called over another lady who I explained what I needed to and then she called over another lady to direct me where to go. Pointless. The girl showed me the wrong type of brush and so I corrected her and she ended up showing me the exact brush I looked at before. Her response as to why it was $10? Its travel-size, easy to put away. Its the size of a regular brush and I would determine all brushes to be travel size or easy to pack. It was the blind leading the blind in that store and absolutely useless. I would only ever return here for the product selection.
Love it so organized. Great makeup selection
I love Sephora and I love this location! Everyone is always so nice and friendly to me and they are very knowledgeable on products. Im a regular and they always go out of their way to say hi to me and ask how Im doing.
If youre going to close your store you should update the website. I made a special trip across town (a 30 min drive), just to find out they temporarily closed their store.
This store has a customer service problem lately that has changed the experience substantially. After shopping with Sephora for fifteen years, I will be taking my business elsewhere. It seems they no longer value customers or even speak to them. I also recently tried to exchange an unopened item for a different shade and was denied any option because I did not have my receipt. For someone that loves the brand and spends thousands of dollars a year there it is truly disappointing to see how their service satisfaction ethics have left just a crowded store where no one offers help and they are content to let you leave frustrated and upset.
I love the staff at this location so knowledgeable about beauty products!
Great service
Great service and products.
Always enjoy my visit
The best Sephora weve been too, ask for Sarah & Dannie ❤ they are the absolute best
I spent more than 2 hours here. 1 of the ladies helped me find the right skin care products and make up. I have a very sensitive skin that even the most natural product they have i had a bad reaction. She wasnt wearing uniform. She helped me how put make up and what to use. She was very pleasant and patient. This will be my go to place from now on.
I was never approached for some help, even though I passed several employees grouped together. Finally I caught some girl named Danny on her way out the backroom. I was ready to spend 200 or more on all new makeup, but only spent 90 because she told me she could not spend too much time with me. I think she thought I wouldnt buy much. Well, SURPRISE!! You lost business.
If this is sephora, short pump, Eden sucks, took my product back to Pennys at chesterfield mall Ashley, did great mob
Ive never gone in a Sephora and left empty handed until this afternoon. The store was relatively quiet, but busy enough that there shouldnt have been groups of artists leaning against the walls chatting, especially when I was wandering around with four tester products looking for help with selecting the right shade. I ended up filling my own sample tubes because I couldnt chase anyone down. I left a basket full of products because I refuse to buy from this store. Selection of products is terrible as well, and the makeup looks disgusting, as though the tubes have never been cleaned. Ill remain a loyal Sephora customer- online.
Absolutely enraged with the way their own MANAGER handled a situation today. Yesterday I went in to ask if the plastic wrapped perfume I was holding in my hand matched the perfume I was looking for without having to open it and she said yes without hardly even looking and continued talking to her coworker, well, I went home and it was the WRONG one. It takes me 30 minutes to drive to sephora and 30 minutes home. I confronted her today and they did not have the right size I was looking for in the original one I wanted so she said I could pay for the biggger bottle after telling how how she has now taken my time away from me.If you wanted to be a professional, youwould not have had mePay $12 more for the bigger bottle and given it to me for all of the inconvenience you caused me.This is the manager with a bun on her head and sometimes wears glasses. I plan on going up the chain to let them know the lack of customerservice on your part.
This location has moved temporarily to the shopping area around the corner where firebirds is located. It sucks they cant advertise that. The temp space is sufficient for your regular Fenty and drunk elephant needs but not much to look at and no beauty or skin studio until they move back.
Great customer service
Ive always had superb service at this location. It is very busy and small but Ive been given excellent service everytime I go in which is quite often!!
I came to this Sephora today and my experience was poor. I came here to browse new items and pick up an Anastasia lipgloss. While I was looking at the Peter Thomas Roth products, I could barely browse them without a particular employee hovering over me. Loss prevention in stores is important, but so is providing customers with great service. I am highly doubtful that I will buy anything from this Sephora. I left this store feeling both disgusted and disappointed. I see why this location has a mere three stars in its Google reviews.
In my opinion, much better than Ulta.
Went to this Sephora after work to try and find a natural finish BB/CC cream foundation, as I do not wear a lot of makeup but am in need of something that would improve the overall look of my skin without setting off my cystic acne. I wasnt greeted when entering the store. I wandered around trying to find products on my own for a good 20 minutes and no one even acknowledged I was there. I had to walk past 2-3 employees before anyone would even make eye contact to help me (keep in mind, this was on a Tuesday, so they were not busy at all). The one girl who I had to finally chase down listened to me for about 30 seconds before she arbitrarily directed me to the Makeup Forever section. I had already researched that foundation online and it did not have good reviews. She claimed that it would be light and not oily - totally wrong! It was awful, like an acrylic paint and made my skin SO oily. I returned it after two days of use. And the setting powder was so expensive and didnt do anything. Then, the skincare expert directed me towards an eye cream, as I needed something for puffiness. She tried to talk me into a $100 cream that smelled terrible. When I told her I couldnt handle the smell, she basically scoffed at me. I asked if she had a comparable product without the smell - she then took me to a cheaper product section and handed it to me like I was asking for a $1 product (the cheaper one is actually really good). I ended up spending well over $100 in total but they treated me like I wasnt their target customer.TL;DR - this place has horrible customer service and staff that does not seem knowledgeable enough to be making makeup recommendations and judges people based on how rich they look. Shop at a different Sephora.
The products and store are amazing. #sephoramakeup #Thelifeandtimesoffiona
I love sephora, I have had no problems here other than twice now by the same person. The make up and skin care specialists here are great. They are the overshadowed by a terrible manager. On Saturday 3-18, manager, female with very short bull cut style hair approved me asking me what are you doing. I politely responded I was reading the product info on the package. Im not sure if she thought I was trying to steal?? I told her I was looking for a peel and she was extremely condescending and rude. Instead of politely informing me on the use of the product in my hand or directing me to someone who could help, she continued to be little me on my lack of knowledge. I wish I caught her name. I cant imagine the cast members working for her. Being a rogue member id much rather shop online or go to the Pineville location.
Ive always heard outstanding reviews and comments about sephora. But my first time visiting the store i was treated poorly. I was looking for a certain product and the whole time I was being watched and followed. I turned to see two employees starring at me and my boyfriend whispering to each other to watch us. Never will I return to this store. Im a paying customer and this is not okay. Being racially profiled by the employees shows that this is a store i will never return to.
It would be nice if they actually had some products in the store. They always say oh it sold out we will have more next week. Welol I am still waiting for next week to aerive
I came to this store to check out what to buy my daughter for her birthday. When i came in i greeted the people and they ignored me. this one lady who had short hair started following me around the whole store while i was checking out products, she went around and told the associates to keep an eye on me. i couldnt find the item my daughter loves so i left. The woman chased after me and accussed me of stealing. I am a darkskin woman by the way. I have not encountered any racial conflict. and I was very surprised to see that some lady in a supposed high quality store has treated me in that way. I will not recommend you to come to this store. I was judged in front of every customer around the mall. not only did she accuse me but she sent a security guard to follow me the entire mall and i was alright with it since i had absolutely nothing to hide. I will not come to this store ever again & I will not allow my friends to come to this Mall and Store period. This is Unacceptable.
I have never had anything less than positive experiences, at this store. I love it!
Bad service, very arrogant employees, and just plain rude. Went with my mother and wife and no one spoke to us. We were looking to make a major purchase for both..so we left and spent the money elsewhere. They have 1 star rating per Google and nothing has changed at the store..wonder what management thinks of this..at the end of the day, WE the consumers pay their salary and keep their lights on. Don’t get it twisted Sephora..plenty of other options without the brick and mortar model with huge profit margins and the savings get passed down to the buyers.Nahh, I will pass.
I just ask for a sample of ysl cologne. I got a PSA from the manager on duty that prior to getting my sample that Sephora pays for their samples and that no other store does it. He continued to inquire if I purchase colognes from Sephora. The samples I received barely had any cologne in them. Im a little disappointed and will be speaking with a store manager.
Being a Hispanic women, and being with my other one; we had the worst experience. We went in looking to buy lots of products but where very visibly target. As soon we tried to look at something a red haired employee kept looking our shoulders as if we were to steal something. It was the most uncalled and rude thing. Not only that but she kept following us even though all we were doing was trying to try products so we could buy. Not only did it make one feel horrible but to the point we had to leave because we were already viewed as someone who would steal. Never going back.
Terrible. rude. arrogant. The employees here are so unbelieveably rude. They discriminate age and race and if you are not wearing pounds of clown makeup. I’m sorry but what if a young teen wants to come here to buy all their firsts makeup? well they will ignore you and look down on you.I went here friday to buy one lipstick because I left mine at home, one lady was nice enough to help me work the color match machine, but the guy who checked me out could not have had a worse attitude. As soon as he saw I had one product, he blew me off. He praticaly threw the bag at me and said bye, I saw have a good night looked at him, yet he was already done with me. How rude I’m sorry, but last time I checked... I am a customer?.... I would’ve bought the whole list of skincare I needed but the worker there blew me off too... i’ll just go to the estée lauder counter and benefit counter itself now instead of giving sephora part of the profit. They need to take a step back and have an attitude check. I would never treat a customer less than or give less than my full attention....
Great selection. Only reason it gets four not five stars is because t can be difficult to get service at times...
Friendly sales team and clean store.
Incredible service! Everyone was so helpful and friendly!
I had a great experience at this location.Cindy was great!
This store was by far the worst for customer service. I walked out of this store shocked at how terrible the employees were and if all Sephora’s are like this one then it’s no wonder I shop at Ulta.I came in to this store specifically for a certain foundation and to have someone help match me with a shade. The guy with bright green hair was of no help at all and I’m almost certain he wasn’t even paying attention to the shade he dabbed on my skin and said that was the one. It’s like all the employees are interested in talking/flirting with each other instead of helping out customers. Since he was of no help I proceeded to search for someone else that could help. I approached a lady who I didn’t realize only did skin care and she was a complete grouch and made me feel like such an inconvenience.I will never come to this store again. Sephora definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and someone should really consider hiring different people and keeping an eye on customer service.
Cannot return without bringing exactly the credit card you used to buy. Annoying!!
Staff were quite attentive and friendly
This location doesnt exist anymore. Go to the South Park Mall!
If I could give zero stars I would. No one is helpful at all here, in fact the entire staff ignored me. I went in expecting to purchase several products and left with nothing. I have never had a bad experience in a Sephora until I came here and I will never come back.
Worse location Ive ever been to. I waited to be helped after being ignored so the employees could socialize for far too long. I was ignored by who seemed to be the manager which is worse. I decided not to even spend my money at this location after not receiving help from over 5 employees working. Ive worked in retail and their conversations should never come before guest.
I can’t believe they’re closed during the Sephora sale
Get what I needed
Staff is wonderful!!
It wasnt even busy and although I was interested in the sales, not once was I asked for assistance!
Creepy staff experience at this location....
Love the lipstick.
Love their makeup
Great staff
Busy Place nobody to help you
Had ok customer service
Have a lot of cologne samples and they even provide small samples to take if you ask.
Staff not helpful whatsoever. 😔
Terrible I was in store trying to buy stuff and the guy that works there made it SO obvious to not ask me or the people I was with if I needed help and was only choosing certain people dont judge customers by there looks or RACE !!! Never had this issue in other store because of that I left what I was planning to buy 🙄🙄
Great service
Horrible customer service!!
Very good service
