I wish I could 6/5 star this. Often times when you go to a pharmacy for a prescription refill you can sometimes be spoken to, at least from my experiences in the past at other pharmacies with a “half in half out” type of mentality. Look I get it you don’t want to be working and I don’t want to be waiting.FOLKS LET ME TELL YOU, THIS PHARMACY AND STAFF ARE A1. SHANDRA - although they do not require her to wear a cape, she should because she is a hero! With my long work hours I’m always showing up later in the evening but she ALWAYS goes out of her way to ensure I get my refills in a timely manner. Even just now at 8 PM after a long day at other pharmacies you’ll generally get someone with an attitude but EVERY visit she is nothing but smiles, which makes the visit through the drive thru TEN times better. It is a person like her that has me continuing to elect this pharmacy as the go to!My man KP one of the pharmacists, although I do not go inside much anymore whenever we talk I feel as if I am talking to a friend of mine who always listens and answers any questions comments or concerns but also then asks how am I doing? How is my business going? What do I think of the Hornets etc. ITS THAT PERSONAL TOUCH.Thank you guys for 5 years of excellence, SHANDRA AND KP AND THE ENTIRE STAFF! I’ve been trying for two days to get a prescription from Walgreens on freedom Road. The line was long inside one person, then she had to also take care of the drive-through got tired of standing there so I left come back through the drive-through the next day I have been in the drive-through for over 30 minutes. I’ve had enough of the poor service. I’ve been using Walgreens for years but I just had enough of the poor service.
Overpriced! Bought halls lollipops for my daughter it was $8.35. It’s 3.97 at Walmart for the same kind. The cashier was on her personal phone having a conversation, didn’t even greet me when I walked up to the register, she was on her phone talking. Very unprofessional
Frequently out of stock medications. Pharmacy tells you it will be there the following day...and it never arrives. To get information, you have to call- they do not reach out to you. I called 3 different times and got 3 different answers about my Rx status. Very nice staff but very frustrating experience.
Horrible workers, extremely long phone wait times as well as drive through wait times. Walgreens need to improve their quality of employees.
Pharmacy told me my prescription was ready. I showed up and they told me they were out of stock and had to order it.

Sat in the drive thru for over an hour for nasel spray on a Wednesday evening. The inside was just as delayed. Only one employee operating the entire pharmacy! Will NOT be coming back here again

Like Rite-Aid closed, this Walgreens will close. What better way to restart yet another business in Charlottes growing Metropolis. From having the same services as other Walgreens to having the worst. In a once upscale community then bad side, and now up-scaling again theres major reconstruction. The tearing down of one community for the evolution of another. It was a good Walgreens once, until it was deserted by the Corporate Office that replaced trained managers and employees with untrained employees... like Walmart up off Wilkinson.
The Worst Store Ever. Be ready to run a tank of gas out in the drive thru. I hate this place. And the problem is they buy out other places so Yu have no choice.
The pharmacy staff appeared to be really confused and not really clear on how to use their systems. Doctor sent in script 3 hours and it still wasnt ready. I was told to come back 30 min later. upon my return there was a massive line of about 15 people and it barely moved. currently been in line for 30 min with 2 people still ahead of me. not sure what the issue is. but I will be taking my business back to CVS. first and last time here.

This is the worst pharmacy Ive ever used. They NEVER answer the phone. The drive thru window is almost never open. I waited in the drive thru line for 15 minutes, was next in line and I get to the window and they put a sign up saying to come inside. Didnt even say anything and there were 3 other cars behind me. Im on the phone right now waiting going on 30 minutes. Theyll pick up the phone and then hang up. Theyve done that 3x.
Terrible customer service!!! Tried to use the quick pass service and paid for items online. They had me waiting for about ten minutes like i was in the regular line..

Sat on hold for OVER an hr after trying to get through three separate times during the day. This pharmacy has charged me for prescription that my insurance fully covers. Depending on who is there when I go to pick up, I may have to have a five minute back-and-forth before their willing to look up whether Im fully covered. Its the same script each time. Im switching pharmacies after wasting hours in needless conversations with these fools.
By far the worst Walgreens I’ve ever used and I’ve used Walgreens all over Charlotte. The drive thru is a nightmare, every time I’ve tried to refill meds they’re always out. I’ve been on the same meds for 21 yrs and rely on it heavily to live and survive. My doctor can fax them the meds weeks in advance and they’re still not ready when I get there after receiving alerts that they’re ready for pickup. I give up on this Walgreens I won’t continue to put myself in this situation.
RUDE, GHETTO Pharmacists! Been going here for years now, switched to Rite Aid until they closed down. Will take my money to CVS. Asian manager guy is nice and considerate, but the lower level pharmacist women have nasty attitudes.
The pharmacy is ridiculously slow. I called to check on my prescription and I was on hold for a hour and half. When I went to pick up my medicine I was told 30 minutes until it is filled. I waited 30 minutes and returned only to be told it would be another 20 minutes! After I informed the cashier that I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes she said they would expedite my prescription. LIES! I still ended up having to wait 20+ more minutes for my medicine. I will not be returning to the pharmacy.
Don’t use this pharmacy worst ever... you’ll wait your life away especially the drive thru.
The pharmacy has the most rude and laziest employees, I went in there to pick up a prescription, the lady asked if I had a new insurance card, I handed it to her, after 10 mins of standing there the lady comes back and says my insurance card expired on the 31st, I automatically new that was a lie because I just got the card in the mail a few weeks ago, so I went ahead and paid out of pocket for my prescriptions, soon as I got in my car I called my insurance provider and told them the situation, they automatically verified my information and told me my card was active, but here’s the good part, they didn’t even see where they even tried to run my insurance. So I went back in the store to the pharmacy, and handed the girl my card told her I have my insurance provider on the phone and they don’t even see where you even attempted to run the insurance she went back to here computer then went back to another computer we’re another co worker was talking to her the same one she went to the first time, a few mins later she come back issuing me a refund talking about the information on the card is different then something they have, but the funny thing is my insurance provider went over everything with me that should have been on the card and it was all right, and literally as soon as they ran it my insurance provider on the phone was telling me they did and even the cost. She was mind blown like me. They lied never even tried to run the insurance, she handed me a recipient to sign, put my change on top of the recipient thing and walked away, no apology no nothing.
The cashier tonight and security really pissed me off. I walked into this store to grab some pain meds and as Im walking back to the front I hear the sorry behind cashier and security guard laughing and talking bad about a customer. This lady was obviously waiting on the inside from the cold her ride with her children. I looked over at her as she was taking pictures of her beautiful daughters with their lip gloss on. And tried my best not to cause a scene to make this family uncomfortable and frighten the children so I politely told the cashier SHAME ON YOU and walked out.
Awful pharmacy! The pharmacists are usually very rude. That is if they are even open. Just tried to pick up a prescription at 6 pm on a Saturday and they were closed. Open till 11pm but the pharmacy, what they claim to be closed 5 hours early?! I am tranfering all future prescriptions to a more reliable place.
Upon entering, there was some loud yelling and cursing between the security guard and some customers. There is racial profiling at this store. The security guard, eddy, followed every move I made while in the store. ( He did the same thing to the customers who cursed him out ) When I asked why, he RUDELY and SARCASTICALLY said to prevent YOU people from stealing. He threatened to call the police since I was walking around the store without purchasing anything and even picked up the phone like he was calling the police.

I had a great experience today. The pharmacy line was a little long; they couldve used another cashier. Tika was very friendly. However, last month I had a very negative experience with Lativa in the pharmacy. She argued with me over the price of something and proceeded to call me a liar. I notified Michelle the MOD and she was even less professional and had no interest in solving my problem.😄😞
I sat at the pharmacy window for at least 6 minutes watching Mia laugh and joke with the other pharmacy techs, then she came to the window unconcerned about me and more I interested in getting back to her conversation. The professionalism at this pharmacy is very frustrating and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Each time I have been to this location the pharmacy has had my medicine in stock. And its always either ready when I get there or if I am dropping it off it usually takes less than 20 minutes. Yes I have noticed the homeless population in the corner of the parking lot by the bushes and the intersection. It is an eyesore but they have never bothered me.

Terrible drive thru service!!! They are sooo slow. One car would take 15 minutes. Cars were leaving because we had to sit in line a ridiculously long time. And the phone service is just as bad. It takes forever for someone to answer your call.

The pharmacist helped me find online prescription coupons when I had to pay out of pocket for my daughters medication. Tge price went from 250 dollars to 45 dollars. 😍
