After spending time in well-known high street stores, and not feeling inspired, we happened upon Bedside Manor. We were given helpful advice and time to consider our needs, and felt looked after. Our bed arrived with a minor issue (that was sorted out quickly) and a further request to reposition the bed was accommodated easily. Thank you! Much happier to support an independent business than a high street chain!

Highly Recommended family run business with great customer service. Cannot praise Lynn enough – she was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in the choosing of our new bedroom furniture. Products are of a very high quality and good value for money as include everything delivered and fully fitted for us. As we ordered these during covid and then subsequent lockdowns happened they made sure they kept us updated us throughout on delivery & installation times and the furniture looks brilliant in our new home. Lynn is great, I went in yesterday to buy a mattress. Always good advice and reasonable prices with items they stock too so no messing around. I would recommend this shop 100%. Dont buy a bed or mattress until you have visited here.Matt Verisure

Checked out the website which had some beautiful photos of childrens beds. When I got there there were no staff around to speak to until the third floor, where we were directed to the top floor. There were a few basic beds, nothing like on the website. When I asked the staff member, I was told it was because they werent making any money on them. Update your website then! Would have saved the trip. Poor selection and indifferent customer service.Edited to add due to ridiculous reply:If the staff member in question had been at all welcoming then perhaps I would have asked questions. Theres a happy medium between complete indifference and following someone around with a clipboard. I suggest you try and find it.As for your video tour - are you honestly suggesting that customers should take a video tour rather than rely on what it says on your website? Theres some gorgeous kids beds online, the blurb says you have many more in store. What you actually have is a few basic single beds, nothing like the bunks and midsleepers pictured.Why argue with honest feedback? Just take it on the chin and learn from it perhaps.

Great collection of beds and mattresses, sadly the experience was such that although we went to buy a mattress and would have done the person in the store (probably the owner) was rude and unhelpful. His expertise in being condescending definitely exceeded that in his products! Avoid the store if you dong want to leave feeling pretty low!

This company are absolutely fantastic. We purchased our bed from here about 3 years ago. Due to some serious issues in our house we had to move out for 3 weeks and only found out we were able to move back home yesterday, after visiting John Lewis last night and them being unable to supply us with a new mattress for at least 2 weeks, I called these guys this morning, they had one in stock and we could collect this afternoon, which means we are now back in our house with somewhere rather comfortable to sleep! Thanks guys your the best.

Good payment arrangements at your own pace and you can receive your items after payment.I got a few challenges with the order but Lynn is very understanding and Keith with the rest of the team, they never showed me signs of being fed up with my unending requests.I strongly recommend Bedside manor. We spent over 6 months looking for a bed and went to all the usual places. Then we came across 6 floors of beds. We spent 3 hours at the shop, found our own favourite mattress, otterman base and headboard. Great service! Finally good sleep!

What an education and why did I wait so long!?Ive suffered with a plethora of health issues all my life and sleepless nights are something Ive become very accustomed to.The past three years have been a real struggle; waking myself up crying out in pain, then spending hours trying to get comfortable enough to fall asleep again but having a family, I just put my own needs aside.So I invested in a new bed this week and already, theres been a slight difference but I knew that the real issue was my mattress.Bedside Manor has been recommended to me by several people and now I know why.Lynn and family are incredibly knowledgeable and after literally, a five minute conversation, Lynn already knew which mattress would suit my needs.I realised that Id been sleeping on the totally wrong mattress for years and even though Lynns recommendation went against everything I THOUGHT I knew about mattresses (turns out I knew absolutely diddly squat), she was 100% right.I tried five mattresses in total but again, the one Lynn picked for me, was by far the best for me.It wasnt a hard sell, Lynn and her Son were absolutely lovely, nor was the mattress Lynn chose for me the dearest in the store; it was the right mattress for me and the fact that I managed to lie on it for 20 minutes without moving was good enough proof for me!So my new mattress will be with me in three weeks and I will do a follow up review but I honestly can not believe that Ive waited so long and put myself through so much unnecessary pain and sleep deprivation, for the sake of the same cost as a clothes shopping trip!Lynn, it was an absolute privilege and a pleasure meeting you and your Son and thankyou from the bottom of my heart for your time, help and expertise.●●●●●●Part 2So my mattress arrived well within the three weeks I was quoted, which was brilliant. The delivery men were courteous, friendly and very funny, which made for a pleasant delivery and they brought the mattress upstairs and onto my bed frame.So...the mattress. I could cry....only tears of joy. Im sleeping again!! AND Im not waking through the night, in agony, nor am I waking up feeling like Ive been run over.Its incredible how a lady who spoke to me for minutes, knew instantly what I needed and I urge anyone, ill or not, to go in and just have a chat if you are due a new mattress, or you have sleep issues. I could kick myself for not doing this sooner.This is a business that I will recommend over and over, for many reasons, Im so grateful.

Some nice beds on offer, but sadly a very negative experience with the salesman. He was snooty, unhelpful and made me feel stupid for asking questions I hoped hed be able to answer. Would not look to spend my money here.

We have used 6 floors of beds a couple of times now and would definitely recommend them. The owners really care and are experts, offering suggestions but also allowing you time on your own with no pressure tactics. Couldnt be happier with our new bed!

Having experienced other furniture and bed shop sales people the staff at Bedside stand out impeccably. They are streets apart when it comes to advice and knowledge about all the products available. They make sure you are buying the right bed for your needs and and have the time to spend with you.And because it is a family run shop they care about the product you buy being exactly right. I wont hesitate to go back again and also tell my friends and family about the quality and knowledge this shop has against all other run of the mill stores.You actually feel special when you buy here.

All I will say is go and experience the level of service at Bedside Manor. Lynn, family and her team are excpetional, they know their product and they all treat customers in a professional and courteous manor!We bought our bed and mattress recently; ordering was a pleasant experience, even on a very busy Saturday with two young children! We had a small hitch with the fitting, but Lynn put it right immediately and thats when customer service really matters!!You will not go far wrong if you buy from Bedside Manor, they make shopping a pleasureable experience :-)

Firstly I would not be giving any stars however in order to write a review you have to. We would not be recommending this place to anyone. We placed an order and our bed did not arrive on the date given. Following this we were made numerous futile promises. The bed arrived 3 months late only to find upon arrival it was the wrong bed. We asked for a repayment which was given but no responsibility was taken for the mistake by the owner rather she was very defensive in her manner. After 7 months from date of order we were still without a bed. DISGUSTING in many ways !! Bed manor .... more like joke manorMr & Mrs Hussain

Having visitied this store on a number of occasions whilst trying to decide which mattress and furniture to order, I woud lke to say how wonderful all of the team are that work there, and also how big the store is once you get in, even though from the outside it looks quite small - it really is like a tardis!As it has been a while since I last ordered anything for my bedroom I was obviously very keen to find exactly the correct products for me.In total I visited this store on 5 seperate occasions before I made my final choice and I cannot compliment the staff on their knowledge and the time that they spent with me on each visit.They really are a specialist in their field. Much much more knowledgable than any of the big players such as Dreams and Bensons, who to be honest I found most unhelpful.I have already recommended this store to my friends and I will no longer look anywhere else for my bedroom furniture.

Weird shop. Woman very nice but didnt have what we wanted.Problem was that you have a big advertisement over by ikea suggesting that you have a big store, but it was on the other side of Leeds not easy to get to and no parking just on the main road outside.Then on entering the store its over several floors but very small and cramped layout, stairs didnt seem that safe for small children either. As we were looking for childrens beds you had none on display and stated that you dont make money on them but as the woman we spoke to also agreed that for a childs bed you want to see the quality in person. So we went elsewhere!
