I live some unique items at this store but customer service is continually closed or the wait is 10-15 min. There appear to be plenty of employees doing other jobs but they ignore you when you’re at customer service. I’ll go to another store from Now on since on multiple visits this has occurred.

First time at a Neighborhood Market. A ton of different food option varieties and selection. Produce section was a bit picked over, but still found most of what we needed. Bakery was turning out delicious goods and smelled amazing. The aisles were clean and it wasn’t too crowded. Definitely recommend

Store clean and well supplied. I love this store as you have a large variety of ethnic food specially Latino. No issues with cashiers.

Dont let my name fool you this isnt a joke Walmart is one of the largest grocery/stock stores in America and I know this might sound entitled but when I walk in a Walmart every aisle should be open. Ive been waiting an extended period of time Just to buy a handful full of groceries. How many people have to riot before they loosen the purse strings.

This place is always a disaster stuff everywhere. They cant even figure out how to do a pickup order. Was notified to pickup and one item was not available. Got here and they had not shopped it at all. They tried to substitute other items that we did not want even though we marked no substitutions.

Overall my visits at this location have been good. I have only used the online pickup option for groceries. It has made grocery shopping much easier for me! And best of all it is free to place your order and pick up curbside. That is awesome, yall! I mostly purchase dry and frozen goods. Fresh fruits and vegetables are hit or miss. I have gotten enough rotten/slimy items that I prefer to do my fresh fruit/veggie purchases elsewhere. Like I said in the beginning of this review, overall my experience has been positive!!

Horrible experience. Looked like 3 employees working the entire store. Self checking with band scanners and dirty belts, scanners. Shelves mostly empty. Busy store with long lines. People standing at customer service for services cannot get help because nobody is there. Walmart, I will be shopping where they pay employees properly to sell your products. You have many millions and need to respect working families in the world. When Sam Walton was alive it was different. The kids clearly do not have the same respect.

I am Disabled and had to use $18 of my money that I needed for my Diabetic medication to go and show them the GARBAGE FOOD that was allowed to pass Quality check...😡😡😡The driver who delivered my Groceries had the nerve to steal 3/4 of my cherries and a box of 28 bags of chips, 5 bags was missing. I immediately contacted Walmart and Also went to the physical store to show them the video footage of My food being Tampered with...😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Always have to wait forever to be approached at the customer service desk. Today I went at 8:30 am, and this time they were closed because they didn’t have staff. Not even the store supervisor couldn’t help. This is the last time, I’ll ever be going to this Walmart

I asked one of the associates if they would help me because the product I picked up didnt have a price on or near it. His answer was go look yourself. I think there are some over there. Sad part is it was an older gentleman and I was completely shocked. I left my buggy and went and shopped somewhere that actually wanted my business.

Pretty nice - I road my bicycle as I only need a couple items. I appreciate Walmart has bike racks - many places dont. Self checkout was a beeze.

Found what I was looking for with no problem. Stood on self check out line for 20 min... that is absurd considering the line wasnt even long! No one made an effort to help the customers at self check out, but stood there and watched them struggle. Customers didnt know what they were doing or how to use machines or obviously needed help and the girl who worked at that line just stood there. Other 2 lines were long and slow as well. Absolutely RIDICULOUS! 1ST and Last time at this Walmart location.

Not a bad store for essentials, but I would love to grocerie shop here, but there is nothing in organic.. which I dont understand because the neighborhood markets usually carry organic. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Location and staff are great. But this location has had a problem with keeping items in stock since day one. Why? None of the other locations seem to have this problem? Also need to check sell by/best by dates as stock rotation seems to be a big problem as well. Shopping here is a major chore as you never know if youre going to get what you need or have to make a trip to another (competitor) store. Sigh.

I brought my quadruplets maddie, jack, lauren and henry to this location, and maddie unfortunately had an accident. she pooped her pants. poor thing😂! i informed an employee and they drop kicked me and threw salami on me. great parking. will come again.

It’s turn opposite of the Walmart in Morganton so it was like walking backwards. My grandson had to use the bathroom and it was so gross. It was like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. People need to be careful using the bathroom you might catch something in there. Since the corvid started every business I’ve been in had cleaned their bathrooms extra clean, walls doors floors everything but it’s like they don’t think anyone can catch corona from their bathroom.

I love the stores convenient location. The personnel are very nice and helpful. The store is relatively clean(could be brighter.) I dont like that they are always stocking while we shop. They are usually in the way and sometimes shoppers have to wait to reach a product or try to go around them. Some grocery and household products that the regular Walmart stores carry in their grocery section are not carried in the neighborhood market.

This place either needs to hire more cashiers or their existing cashiers need to stop missing work.

Idk who the lady was that was working the self check out area tonight at 8:30 on 3/26 but she is the most pleasant person ever. Never expected so much joyful energy in a Walmart employee so it was very refreshing

Walmart has been a life saver when it comes to quality and quantities. Very convenient and close to my residence. The customer service is wonderful. Its been a great experience for the history of its stores. LOVE Walmart!!!! 😍

The fact that it’s not a full-fledged Walmart makes the shopping experience very pleasant. The checkout queues are never long. The online ordering and pickup experience is awesome. Good work guys.

I have had good experience with picking up online orders at this store - although they seem to be out of stock more often than other stores. With in person shopping, Ive had problems with the self-service checkout lines. It seems that the machines do not make any beeping noise when an item is rung up, as is normally the case. This makes it very easy for an item to be scanned twice, which has happened to me recently - 3 items were double charged. A double beep would at least alert you to the problem.

Small yet convenient,,not to busy. The staff is wonderful and courteous and they keep this Walmart cleaned and well stocked.

Dont like the fact they have cause the fall of many !! But good prices

Great supermarket and smaller so you don’t have to walk a mile to get to something else on the other side of the store. Cashiers are surprisingly friendly at this Walmart unlike the bigger retail stores. Worth a visit

Its a Walmart, so you know they are always going to have a ton of options and fairly cheap. However, I will say that Im not sure if I am just unlucky on when I choose to shop here or what; but there is without fail always product lying off the shelves on the floors in just about every aisle, carts, trolleys, pallets all throughout the main aisles in the most inconvenient places. I get that its busy and they need to keep stocking up throughout the day, but dang if I have to turn around and change directions about 3 times just to grab some salsa I about had an aneurysm. Its hard enough trying to keep respectable distance from other shoppers, but shoot add on 2 Walmart employees in every other aisle I felt there were more employees than shoppers. Anyways, everyone was very nice and helpful-- but shiiiit I felt like I was in a zoo-- me being the animal. Welcome to Walmart!

They are Constantly messing up my online grocery order. They always forget something. This time was the worst!!! They were missing all my refrigerated items $33.09 worth of items. Always outta stock on items. Customer service doesnt exist there. They need new management!

Nice store. Some of the associates are not the most helpful, but the Managers take care of that. Got a good amount of help from Crystal (one of the Managers) today and also received help from another Manager (didnt get her name), as well as a store associate. The store is located in a good area and it was clean overall. Some things can be worked on (to be fair).

Convenient and usually well stocked. Theres one cashier that is SO SLOW that its almost faster to put everything back, refill your cart, and then go through self checkout. Shes nice though so its hard to get that upset about it. Have experienced checkout with her on three separate occasions and shes just consistently slow. Always nice, always friendly, always sloth-like in her checkout line.

This location is conveniently located for the Quail Hollow/Park crowd. Its stocked pretty well and even with COVID making inventory management difficult you can usually find your favorites here. This location does do delivery and, my personal favorite, pick up. You shop online, drive up at your appointment/scheduled hour (your choice when) and then just park in the designated spots right up front. They bring it out and load it in your car for you. If you are particular about the virus, this is a great way to minimize the number of people you come in contact with. The loading people wear masks and gloves. While its not required, I recommend tipping a dollar or two - its hot and they are exposing themselves to you and your car so that you can stay safer. Its too easy of a karma boost to skip it!

Cheaper than Aldi. Clean. Knocked off a star for always long checkout lines.Shop well; meat is sometimes a bargain, or not. Produce cheap and fresh. Bagged flavored salads with dressing (Asian, southwest, kale and pom, etc) for 2: under $4. Big bag of grilled chicken strips: $7. Tons of frozen fruits and veggies SO cheap. (You know they all come from one place and go into different stores packaging, right?)Prepared food is widely varied and super cheap. I always see some ethnic food Ive never tried, and have opened our menu greatly due to the overwhelming amount of choices here. Plus, online pickup is in the front of the store, where it should be!Give yourself time to browse and discover new foods here. Highly recommend.

This walmart is the absolute worst when it comes to checkout lanes. What is the point of cashiers if they are not opening the registers? Yet when they do they only let people who have a few items in compared to someone who has a full cart that could be using cash or a WIC card. I wont be shopping at this location anymore. Ill stick to the locations in South Carolina. At least I know the cashiers there are more helpful.

Great Parking and Dollar Tree in same shopping mall which helps during the TP shortage. Shelves were empty in Wal-Mart but picked some up at DT

Good neighbourhood market will all daily use grocery and items.

The stock at this store is always low. Even before COVID 19. Parking is adequate. Staff is courteous.

This location is terrible. Customer service is non-existent. Unfortunately I live within their Delivery range, and have had several bad experiences with not getting my order, or getting the wrong order, and then have to spend hours on the phone just to get a refund. This latest experience has been so terrible, I had to review. After being left on hold frequently for long time periods, I was told that I needed to call Postmates and given a bad number that doesn’t even work. It is NEVER the customer’s responsibility to contact THEIR third party partner. It is the store’s job to do that as they are responsible for the order until it is received by the customer. Their own corporate Customer Service team has even confirmed this multiple times, and have filed reports of them doing this to their customers. The customer is NOT a customer of Postmates, DoorDash, etc. After receiving a massive order today of meat, drinks, and frozen food, I’m now going to have to spend an hour of my day tomorrow donating someone else’s Delivery order to my nearest food bank, as I live alone and am vegan. The consistent errors and lack of customer support by this location is a nightmare and I wish I could request the Charlotte Hwy store. I wish I could give 0 stars. Do not waste your time here.

This Walmart is very near me and is very convenient... Prices are great... Why 1 star???The lady that was supervising the self checkout lanes is very incompetent and rude... I pick up a bottle of juice and I did not notice that did not had the scan code. I told the lady and she blatantly told me Well go and pick another one, because I cant look the price That statement surprised me. Walmart is well know for their customer service but this lady did not have a clue on how to threat a customer. I did not have the name of the employee but this situation happen on 11/14/2020 at 6pm...

I live next door and frequent this walmart several times a week; its literally the worst Walmart ever. They have baskets but they dont want you using them. The entrance and exit are separated with a table and baskets are apparently only allowed on the exit side, next to the ice cooler, meaning you have to go all the way around the checkouts, to the exit to get a basket and back. Apparently this is by design as I tried to bring some of the stack to the entrance and was stopped by the associate at lane 1, told I couldnt do that, that they dont go there. Horrible, horrible location. They never have real cashiers at primetime leaving people with full carts to use the self checkout. Bonus, they hardly ever have a dedicated associate for the self checkout so any issue or alcohol purchase takes several minutes to resolve. Need cigs? You can only go to lane 1, the only lane with a cashier. Which is always full of kind souls that know they shouldnt take their full cart through the self check-out. All the while, theres 3+ associates behind the customer service counter seemingly doing nothing. Maddening. Either open up more lanes or convert nearly all of them to self checkout. Any time of day... This place is managed terribly. Literally every time I come here, I leave thinking this is the worst Walmart EVER. And there are plenty of terrible Walmarts

Expect to wait in line at least 10-15 minutes to check out. The employees are very helpful though.

The management and security of this location needs to better control their lot. My wife goes there on her own, and there are people approaching her asking to help her with her bags or offering to “take her cart back to the store” and then asks for money. This is unsettling and will cause us to not use this location until they address it. They are aggressive and approached her very close to her vehicle when she was alone and it is very scary.

South tryon Walmart is the best in Charlotte.

You know how a person can change your whole outlook on a place? There are two employees at this location who go above & beyond for me & the 94 year old family member I take care of. This wasnt just once - We are in there EVERY WEEK. We walk the aisles for exercise in addition to picking up items. The employees names are Tish & Jimmy...and they make sure we have what we need and are very sweet and caring! Thank you for all you do!!

Terrible customer service. Waited for 23 minutes at the customer service desk before an employee came to the desk. The employee Rhonda with extremely unpleasant and unfriendly as well as unhelpful.

Hours are never correct! I get we are in a pandemic but they could at atleast have hours posted online or at the store.

I was in and out: expecting to stand in line to check out, but not today.

There were no shopping carts inside. I asked where they were and a lady said, outside, and aint nobody walking out in that mess! (It was raining) They didnt have any baskets either. I proceeded to shop stacking my groceries up holding them between my hands and my chin. I was struggling to hold everything as I walked up to the checkout line and the cashier turn off her light, while staring at me. I said, really? While she had no response. I struggle over to the self-checkout. Proceeding to scan all of my groceries. The last thing I scan is my bottle of wine. After a minute or two of attempting to get the attention group of chatting employees, who are obviously ignoring me to verify my age, one employee finally walks over and stands next to me. Meanwhile Im trying to bag my groceries as fast as possible as there is a long line accumulating behind me. I assume the employee has bypassed my age and I can proceed to pay. The screen is still not working. I turn to employee and ask, whats wrong and the employee says nothing, ignoring my question. I then ask the employee, do you need my ID or something? All the employees said was, yep! The employee snatcher my ID out of my hand, looked at it, then held my ID out to the side waiting for me to grab it, as if I was inconveniencing her. The employee keyed the verification in on the screen and walked away. I typically do not get IDed, and I do not get upset about it when I do. Its the rudeness in this store that bothers me. All the employees care about is talking amongst one another. If the employee wanted my ID she should have just said so to prevent the line from being held up. The employees at this Walmart are the rudest group of employees I have ever had to interact with; at any business; ever. I never post any of these things, but it is like this every single time I go into this Walmart grocery store. Either the employees at this particular Walmart are the rudest group of Walmart employees of all time, or they are just flat out racist against white people. I do not believe in the term reverse racism, because racism is racism. Avoid this Walmart neighborhood market like the plague!

Pharmacy staff is outstanding. Grocery portion is improving. Over the last few months, I have detected a marked improvement in the attitudes of the non-pharmacy associates. Good selection fair prices, but there are items, principally meat, that I will usually not buy there.

I will like to give the 5 stars but still they need to put more attention on the service, specially when you go to pay, those machines are so slow. They have to restock more items. When I go at night after work look like previous to the huracán.😀.The personal are nice and friendly.The price always low but the manager have to walk more around, they can do better.Convenient location and best customer service. I shop on line and pick up my items in this store.

The usual Walmart experience, but only the grocery part! Nice store, but a tad disorganized. Still good.

Nice smaller Wal-Mart thats easy to get in and out of quickly. I do miss having a bakery so it is a small trade off but I was still able to grab a nice card, a HUGE bag of Hershey Kisses and a colourful bowl (at a great sales price) that I put together to take to a medical facility that I wanted to show a small thank you for all theyve done for me. I was I. a hurry so this was the perfect place & price for me to get this accomplished. Its also so nice to park at this location. Easy & hassle free. The staff was very nice as well.
