If youve never been to Lidls before, you are missing out on just about everything grocery related, wine related, beautifully fresh cut flowers and flowers for your yard and planters as well as household goods and outdoor accessories, all at extremely discounted prices.The parking lot is absolutely immense. Everything is handicap accessible and the aisles are widely spaced and buffed to a reflective shine. There are plastic dividers and everything was sanitized in between every customer. The staff members that I interacted with were all professional and polite. And the store was very well maintained. Lidl was great and what I like most is seeing the ladies in the aisle wiping them down sanitizing them fresh vegetables and fruit and the other aisles. Ive been at the grocery stores since the pandemic and Ive never seen this done before. Thank you Lidl for caring because this pandemic is no joke, this is something I do everyday sanitize my apartment all the way through. Mask up stay safe God bless us all

Every single line is closed to credit cards, stressful awful cramped self checkout with everyone stuck in the same corner checking out on tiny self checkout systems shoulder to shoulder during covid, far worse customer experience than Aldi. Mint says we spend over $3k per year there and average $250 per trip, will not be keeping Lidl in our grocery rotation.Photo of empty belts but a dozen people in line for the self check outs going far down the last aisle.

One of my favourite stores ... Great prices on basic groceries, and always a lot of interesting European products too. The one thing that shoppers (and the company too) need to be aware of is safety. A couple weeks ago, I was there a bit later in the evening, and there was a suspicious man there with no cart or basket, and he was following me for a few minutes. It made me realize that the store is usually minimally staffed, and there is no security guard, as there is at some other locations. Its something they need to address.

Nice, clean and organized grocery store. Not exactly like its German counter parts but close. Found a lot of unique products, and good bread. Probably a bit of a hidden gem but the wines are very good, especially the international selection.

Lidl shopper here but unfortunately don’t prefer this one. This seems to be a smaller market with less stock. Was in a different part of town so went for a shop and couldn’t find many items that our typical Lidl regularly has like ginger and fresh herbs.This new concept also looks much more like Aldi and other discount stores, cheapening the brand in my opinion. It seems to be more reminiscent of the smaller city-based stores in Europe meaning it’s also more cramped and you have to bag your groceries extremely quickly before you get pushed out by the next customers at the checkout. The layout was different than other stores so my in-order shopping list was useless. I’ll stick to the original curved roof style stores. Makes me happy when I shop there with the big open windows, well designed marketing and strong focus on the beautiful european products.Design aside, I do hope that Lidl continues to open stores within city limits. All Charlotte stores are in other towns outside of the city.

Love coming to Lidl or here esp since I grew up in Germany with Lidl it’s always like a bit a home .Just came in here wanted to buy wine along with grocery’s and a MS Polita? On register one 2:30 pm she didn’t accept my ( retired )military ID or license we just moved here abs bought a house with my license but it wasn’t good enough to get to purchase a $4 wine ? I litterly purchased a 400 000 dollar house and this lady giving me problems on the register having to small kids with she called her manager asking if INeed to provide a passport this is ridiculous!!! She threw my stuff after manager left after every scan . This never has happened to me here in my 10 years living in the states . Ms Pollitta needs training please Management . She said she’s just making sure but wasn’t when my card took a bit to pay

Lidls is fine. Some items are over priced l. Walmart are cheaper on some things. The locations I normally go to is a smaller store. They need more variety of deserts. My favorite food there is their PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES in the deli. YUUUUUMY!! My grandchildren and I buy cookies there 5 times a week. VERY CLEAN AND ORGANIZED.

Shops got a great range of product but why is the cashier service so bad. One person looks after a checkout AND 4 self checkouts. Madness

I found everything that I need it,I just dont like the milk because the jugs was looking dirty and makes not buy milk from them.Air conditioning was working good,the supermarket looks organized and stuff was very helpful.

Its a very clean store and less expensive than some stores but if youre expecting Aldi prices forget it. Most everything is a dollar more then all day except for eggs and milk. I do like theyre fresh Bakery though

I went to the Monroe rd location andI thought I was gonna walk Into something special. Its just like Aldis. The o ly thing I HATED was the cashier asked if I had the app I responded with a No I dont since it was my very 1st time there . Only to pay and as Im walking out i see I could have saved 5$ I asked the manager if I can down loadthe app and an rering my order only for her to say NO because I used a ebt card an that they dont do refunds with ebt🤔🙄 Ill never come back here again. Ill stick to Aldis. Communication is VERY important ESPECIALLY if you can help someone save a few dollars.. Not cool...

This was my first time shopping at Lidls but definitely not my last. The store on Monroe Road was FABULOUS!! I was so impressed by the bread and bakery area and I purchased blueberry muffins that were delicious. I was highly impressed by the cleanliness, orderly way the store was set up and I loved that they had some semi-high end items such a the Peligrino flavored seltzers. It was well lit and not crowded at all and the service was very good. I will be coming back since currently Lidls orange juice is more economical than Aldis orange juice.

European groceries and chocolates! If you like Pasteis de Nata, they come 6 to a pack. They frequently have sales on organic grass feed steaks.

I started going to Lidl after seeing an advertisement. I am usually someone who goes to Aldi. Lidl is absolutely a wonderful store, their staff is always very attentive, the shells are always fully stocked and the bright lighting is really really great. I have to admit that since going to little the first time I have stopped going to Aldi. It is a much better alternative to grocery stores. You can find many of the same name brand things you regularly buy at Lidl for a value price.

First time at this location. A huge variety of lower priced items. Only thing I didnt like seeing while I was there was that there was only 1 lane open. Which made the line waiting to be rung up all screwed up.

I love Lidl. They have great produce section. Plus great finds at great price. Just bought a new breadmaker. The staff is really nice as well.

The location is bit out of the way, but plenty of comfortable parking. All prices are competitive. Their products are okay, meats are okay - no bags to pack your articles! You could purchase some at the register.

Lidl is a nice small-scale market. Their products are excellent and at great prices. Their bakery is wonderful; I love their protein rolls, but everything weve had was delicious. They offer a good selection of cheeses and dairy, both fresh and frozen seafood (I love their frozen whole mussel meat-no shells!), the produce is good quality and their meat is good, as well. They periodically focus on Spanish, Italian, Mediterranean products that are difficult to find elsewhere, good quality and just differently delicious! Come to think of it, weve not had any bad experiences. I shop here on a regular basis, and there are closer markets.

LIDL is the best deal going...other than Aldi, LOL. Their bakery cant be beat and they have both store and national brand choices at seriously low prices. The staff is incredibly helpful and if its not on the shelf the staff will see if its in the back. Check.it out. I

Warning when you get to the checkout the employees are rude and wont provide good customer service. the cashier Ishmael or Ismail wouldnt listen to me after I told him that I wanted $1 apply to my order threw away my gift card and didnt handed back. Taneesa isnt good too, the fat girl with the letter isnt friendly, Jay, Jerry. they even close self checkout because customers misuse the self checkout. I come here only because its easy to get to vs going to Idelwild rd location

I can always find great deals on groceries. Especially fresh organic produce and quality meat. The prices are great and the store is easily navigable. Its not huge but it certainly has a big selection for when you just need to pop in and grab a few things. The staff is friendly and helpful as well!

There is a cashier, she had greenblue hair today, that is ALWAYS rude to the minority customers. And ALWAYS screaming about taking her break. Im probably going to start patronizing another location.

I have been going to Lidl since they came in the USA. Grew up in Germany so Lidl was big. That said, I have noticed on going replenishment issues. I used to get my weekly staples but now I find myself having to substitute more or go to another grocery store....

Awesome place. I went there for the first time today, its so neat. Prices are decent. I found while most things were cheaper some I get a better deal elsewhere. Fresh bakery and produce. Definitely worth it if you live close. We be back.

My first time @Lidl and I loved everything: lower prices (off brands-virt no difference. Ever) fresh produce and no over stocked, cramped aisles! Not filled to brim w/4 kinds of everything, but I found virt all I needed. Very nice bakery area and live plants too! Plenty of choices in meats: grass fed beef, skinless boneless (and not) chicken pieces-all well packed and fresh. Bags!! I came unprepared but very cheep recycle bags are 7-10 cents; a great bargain I thought. I had to drive about 12 mi. (to Monroe Rd location) ..but believe me IT WAS worth it--since all Ive got is scammer FLion and worse, HT and Compare foods...LIDL is moderately priced yet clean and well run well stocked alternative!! Go There!!!

Super friendly staff and great food. I needed blueberries on the way to work, and Harris Teeters were all moldy! I went into Lidl and got some that were perfect and less expensive. Only wish they opened at 7:30 instead of 8 so I can grab lunch sometimes before I head into work!

I love this store, everything is fresh and prices are very reasonable! Best vegetables! So many different kinds of snacks to choose from. Bread is just .89 cents - I love it!

Lidl is not enforcing the mask order in place for customers, which makes for a very uncomfortable shopping experience for customers that are wearing their mask to protect others. If the law is not going to be enforced please have notification posted for us law abiding citizens. Will not return until mask in the store are a requirement for all customers!!!!!!

Stopped here in the afternoon for the first time to grab a few items. Very clean store, similar to the one on 74. Got everything I needed and a few extras. Main cashier was super friendly and sweet - she deserves a raise! Only caveat was the parking as it definitely needs to bigger!

Its a nice store but it has a very limited selection so you cant do all your shopping there but what is there is at a very good price. Also very nice staff, we go there often.

Whatever you do do not pull your mask down to smell a candle. Employees will holler at you from across the store. So very rude. I will not go again.

When spending a large amount of money at this store you might want to get a head start on your bagging unless you dont mind your things being pushed and crammed to the side before you can get it all addressed. Most of us want our items bagged in a specific order and we dont want our produce or bread flattened and bruised before even leaving the store. Please let those of us that are slow baggers to get our things bagged and out of the way before starting with the next customer.

Had a miserable woman assist me while looking for an item in the store. Her name was Mary and I think she may have been the manager, why I dont know. She was no help at all and seemed like she had something better to do than assist customers. Has no business working with people.

Great alternative to Walmart if you’re looking for quality produce at a reasonable prices. I was very impressed with their high quality of meats and poultry.Parking is adequate but getting out can pose a challenge considering the high volume of traffic on weekdays on Monroe Rd.Overall it’s a great neighborhood store with a friendly Staff that will definitely give their competitors a run for their money.

Great store and location but the checkout person with the short red hair and bad attitude wasnt particularly attractive as an asset. Especially when I only had a few items, and zero interferences and complications to take up their time. The fact that they were rather aggressive towards me and my boyfriend and then polite to the woman with the cart full behind us is beyond me but it was tasteless. Ill continue to shop here with pleasure but I hope and pray this person gets better or I dont end up in their line next time.
