Food Lion one of favorites grocery stores specifically this one. I like it, its so organized.

It was okay store could have been more organized

Omg I just wanted to write this review to say THANK YOU SO MUCH Mr.Wayne in the meat department today for that very kind gesture you did today you taught my son a very valuable lesson to always love your mother. It took everything in me not to cry today but that was very sweet of you and it really touched my heart. The fact that you didn’t know us and haven’t never seen you before but you were like a Angel from heaven. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK You.

Clean and organized just stopped to get a few things needed. The employees were helpful and showed me where something was I was looking for very friendly and courteous. I will definitely go here again Im the future.

This Food Lion has nice employees and theres rarely a wait in line, which is great. The reason for 3 stars is they need to be more thorough with cycling the items on their shelves in and out. They often have near expiration, or even worse, far past expiration dates.I grabbed a bag of chips and saw that the expiration date was 6/1/21 (and today is 6/11/21). Also saw some parmesan cheese with a date of 12/2020 (yes December 2020). And this is a regular occurrence on several trips. (And yes I know the whole just because the Best By date has passed doesnt mean youll keel over and die, you can still eat it logic, but people want the freshest products for their hard earned money).So yes, its a good store, but always be sure to check your expiration dates.

Great experience every time the best customer service I have ever had

Food Lion has improved a lot. I have been able to find great deals on meat, bread, snacks, juice and other items.

This one is better than most, but its still no publix

Good - it has the ability for you to order online and pick upBad - 1. lower selection than other FLs in the area 2. About 85% of the times that I order (I use Instacart but the people that actually pick the items from the shelves are FL employees) they mess something up. Ive had them put 5 two liter sodas (for a total of over 22lbs) in a single paper bag. Ive had them forget to give me one of my bags and I had to go back to pick it up (that required actually going into the store but they did give me a 10.00 gift card for my trouble). They have also put bread under sodas. Forget adding instructions for a particular item - in my experience they have about a 95% failure on doing those.Id go to any other FL in my area if they offered online ordering and pick up. I cant imagine it being worse than this one.

My favorite store. Always neat and clean and there is always a friendly person around to help. They carry a lot of local and organic brands not in Walmart, PLUS the Food Lion brand veggie pizza is what good living is all about! When I had the flu Food Lion and Instacart were saving lives and making deliveries! Support good regional businesses!

Produce was fresh, had some good deals. Corn on the cob on sale currently 5 for $1

Picked up a few items and went to self checkout, the person was watching me. It was obvious. She was watching us as if we going to steal or wasn’t going to pay. We have the receipt and paid for everything. I still recommend this food lion, they have a lot in stock but if you go to self checkout you may be stared at.

Good place for grocery shopping.

I live 0.6 miles from another Food Lion but always drive 3.0 miles to this location because of how stress free my experience is every time I go.The store is always clean, up to date self checkout registers that are easy to use and even accept mobile pay! Things are ALWAYS stocked!The cookies from the bakery, I must admit, make the extra drive worth it! No other grocery store, FOOD LION or other chain, has fresh baked cookies from the bakery section as delicious as this location. Hats off to the baker/pastry chef!!!Thank you to whoever is responsible for interviewing/recruiting/training/hiring...thank you for making this a great location for all of us people, even in the midst of this awful pandemic.I’m delighted to give this location 5 out of 5 stars!!!

Was there on 3/8/21. Was nearly knocked over by a disgruntled employee because he refused to have the decency to say excuse me. After arguing with him for a few minutes the STORE MANAGER comes around the corner to speak with me. After a non sincere apology prompted by the manager the employee walks off and the store manager states there is the magic, he apologized and then walks away! I wish I could give zero stars. This food lion management at this store definitely needs work. Will not be returning.

Local food store with decent pricing.

I love this food lion. Everyones so nice. Bummer its one of the smaller ones so less variety on some stuff but definitely has all the basics and then some. Always clean.

As always love Food Lion. This location i ratherly go to because their is always something happen up their. People breaking Car Windows, stealing Car parts, employees fighting, and people getting shot in the parking lot.

This just might be the best Food Lion Ive been to. Typically, Ive been very unimpressed with Food Lion itself, as the store has been known for mistreating its employees and being very much anti-worker with its anti-labor stance. For the aforementioned reason above, I cannot give 5 stars, but this is still a good individual grocery store location. Its not just true that its well organized and neat.This is actually the 1st store of any kind that is properly practicing the needed guidelines to truly prevent the spread of Corona Virus. Never been to a store with an actual cart cleaning station before.

I was in and out very quickly and used self checkout.

African American Spanish manger wouldnt assist in putting groceries in one color bag to help me out will shopping for 3 customers doing instacart so I asked if he could tie the bags on the first order and he said no they dont do any of that for shoppers. Advise all other stores dont have a problem with it. He would not assist and was not helpful at all.

Yooooo they sell Food Lion brand girl scout cookies year round!!!! This deserves 5 stars just for that lol. This really is a nice store and they have everything you need most of the time. I cant believe they have those cookies though.

Fast friendly customer service

Store is clean and well-organized. When the checkout lines get too long, they open extra registers to minimize wait time. During this pandemic, there is one entrance to enter and one to exit. There were no empty food shelves like a few other stores in the area.

Worst grocery store ever

Worst Food Lion ever!!! Hardly had any fruits or veggies we needed. Plus people w/o masks when the store had a requirement on the door!!!

Such great serves we find great ice cream cakes at such low prices and wine and with mvp card you get discounts certain items.

This food lion is nice employee wise ( cashiers ), I couldn’t find a item and I approached the young lady Shalise and since she was having a side conversation and I had to interrupt she looked at me as if I was in the wrong idk how food lion handles their managers but she needs to be talk to about her work ethic

This was a much nicer grocery store when it was a Bloom. Still not the worst Food Lion I’ve been in. Was convenient to the apartments next door when we lived in those.

Checking out or customer service, have always been efficient and expedient. Theyre pleasant when Ive been a patron. Store is clean. Outside is clean. They are following ongoing safety measures.

Bought some crab cakes and some milk and they were both expired. Never going back and worse customer service ever. I do instacart and a manager told me theyre not allowed to help instacart

Local grocery store..a bit pricey but convenient..

Employees were very rude. Stared at me and my husband because we brought a bookbag to carry our groceries in because we were riding the train. We were treated like we were homeless people coming in there store. Will never go back to this food lion ever again.

Decent place with a large assortment of produce and breakfast. The staff is usually okay. The self checkouts recently added save time.

Its one of the best neighborhood store. You will find almost all the essential grocery items.Its much cleaner than Walmart and much more organized. The have an MVP rewards card as any typical store. Definitely sign up for it .Recommend

We are very much sentimentality attached to this shop. We shop here for almost 10 years. Earlier it was Bloom, Food Lions premium brand. Eventually the changed names in Charlotte area. This shop somehow has a premium look and arrangements compared to other stores.All associates are very friendly. Also they manage to have fastest checkouts I have ever experienced even on peak crowded times.They have deals on almost every item and almost every day. Really not sure how they make money. Make sure you have MVP, their membership card. Even when you forget to bring the card, associates will be friendly to use their store cards to get deal prices.Bakery section is one of the best, next only to Harris Teeter. But here all pastry, cakes and bakes are cheaper compared to other stores, and they tastes better too.They have some unique collection of Asian grocery, like rice, spices, some Asian juices and biscuits. Asians should try that section.

I shop at food lion often and this is one of my favorite stores. The staff are knowledgeable as to where the food items are if I ask for it. Its never crowded in this store so I get to walk slow and go up and down every aisle. Overall a very good store to shop at

This door is always clean and usually have what Im looking for. I was able to find the crab legs that were on sale for $7.99 a pound. They have a pretty good selection of wine also.

This is the very best Food Lion around and John Backus is the very best store manager there is. The employees are are respectful, polite and knowledgeable. The floors and shelves are clean, well-stocked and it is always a friendly, easy-going atmosphere. Im from New York and comparatively, this store has them all beat. Highly recommended !!

This Food Lion is very clean and well organized. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My husband and I love coming to this particular store for its service and atmosphere (although it is not exactly close to where we live). That says a lot!

This use to be Bloom, the service was better than Food Lion. They would have triple coupons/double coupon events. It was like Harris Teeter but they had a self scan machine to scan your items and pay at the register. An electrical scale that print a label for produce. Kind of disappointed they change this Bloom back to Food Lion. The store is nice and employees are alright! It was next to Kohls which relocated in Concord hopefully they will have a store next to Food Lion.

Love the staff here, so helpful. They have a nice selection of craft beer and the fresh produce section is well taken care of. The deli section has a some pre-packaged grab and go meat and cheese selections that are really helpful when theyre busy. This store is wheelchair accessible.

Its a good center for groceries for university students and near by communities. It has a better placed, with good prices for grocery items.The associates in store are customer friendly and after the overhaul of the store last year, it has definitely become a better place. Do visit the place for fresh organic vegetables and grocery items.

I arrived 2 hours late from the time i scheduled the pickup the order. Everything was ready and it was delicious. Fried crunchy chicken that hit the spot. I will be back.
