We just moved to the area and I needed service on a badly blown tubeless tire. The care and attention my bike received was greatly appreciated. Everyone was kind and extremely knowledgeable. Within 20 minutes I received a fixed bicycle and some helpful advice! Thank you so very much. Well definitely return for any of our cycling needs. Local bike shops are the best :)

Wonderful service! I was about to be out of town with my bike and really needed a new seat. I called them right before close and talked to Scott who was extremely pleasant and helpful! Scott and a coworker let me come in right at closing to get a measure and find the perfect seat. It’s very refreshing to go to a bike shop that you can tell they care about your bike experience.

Bought a bike here recently and had a great experience. The store was following all covid procedures, Scott was knowledgeable about the various bikes in the store, and I was able to get everything else I needed all at once. Awesome store and great staff.

My 1st visit there just to get acquainted they seem to be familiar with the new bike I got. Which is a solar charged electric assist recumbent Tricycle.

Spoke with Paul and received some very good advice based on my feed back to him about the type of riding Im doing now and what Im looking for next. Recommended the Specialized Fuze hard tail. Showed me an E-bike as well would have been really tempting if it had been a large frame! I can tell this is a shop with people who are passionate about cycling.Thank you for your time Paul! 👍

The best. I dont bring a bike anywhere else if I have a choice. Scott used to lead trail rides for a group of us Nelson County kids and basically taught me everything I know about bikes and riding. You cant do better than Blue Wheel.

Blue Wheel Bicycles went above and beyond for me when I brought my commuter bike into their shop. I appreciated them listening to my issue then diagnosing what the problem was and showing me what needed to be done. I also needed a new rear tire and they brought out different options of various durability and pricing options and let me choose the tire that worked best for my needs. I will be bringing my bike back to Blue Wheel Bicycles.

Best bike shop in Cville hands down. Brought my road bike to the other independent shop in town for same repair three times with no success (I bought the bike there). Took it to Blue Wheel - rides perfect now. These guys know what they’re doing and are super helpful. Will buy all my future bikes here.

My Marin bike was rode hard and put away wet, and very much in need of some TLC since I rarely had it serviced. Im a very neglectful owner. I brought it to Blue Wheel and they did a great job cleaning in up, replacing the worn-out parts, and making all the necessary lubricating and adjustments to the chain, shifters etc etc. When I got it back, all the creaks, groans, and thumps were totally gone -- it was like riding on a cloud, dare I say as good as new? It was also ready for pickup when promised. Based on my experience, I would definitely go back there and recommend them to others.

Brought my Specialized Turbo Levo in for Battery not charging. They diagnosed the issue and worked with Specialized directly to replace the battery under warranty. This was going to be $800.00 to replace the battery. Roger and the staff at Blue Wheel went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. Very honest and transparent way of working. Best bike shop in the area! Prices are extremely reasonable and they take the time to ensure that youll be satisfied with your purchase with great tech help, friendly service, and a quick turnaround. One of the owners even kept the shop open after hours for me since I was coming from out of town. Just to prove how good of a shop they are, I drove 110 miles just to shop and purchase a bike from Blue Wheel Bicycles. Thanks again and a big Kudos to Scott!

We didnt know why we qere constantly losing air in the tires. Customer service was great!!! Problem was fixed at a reasonable cost. We will use them again for sure!

Competent, honest, timely, fair prices, pleasant to deal with - what more could you ask for from a bike shop? They also have a good selection of accessories (clothes, lights, glasses, etc) that are reasonably priced and good quality. I wish they were open on Sunday, but aside from that this place is ideal.

Excellent service! I brought my bike in for a fitting, they took their time made small adjustments and then told me to ride my bike for a while and come back for further adjustments. When I went back they made more adjustments but didnt charge me anything to do them.I went to another popular bike shop in town before coming to Blue Wheel and the bike fit at this other shop caused several issues and a lot of pain (sold me zero float cleats). Blue Wheel too time to address all my issues and make sure the fit much better for me. Riding my bike is a totally different experience thanks to Blue Wheel.

Might be the coolest bike shop on the east coast. Old building, hardwood floors, laid back. I always see the pro bikers in here. It reminds me of my fathers barbershop. The legends of Cville biking own, operate, and know everything.

Best bike shop in Cville! Ive been to many of them around town and Blue Wheel is by far the most friendly, honest and fairly priced. Excellent customer service and they really do a quick and through job every time. When I have questions about regular maintenance or basic repairs theyll help me over the phone or tell stop by there sometime, bring me back into the shop and show me exactly what needs to be done.
