A great locally owned coffee & ice cream shop. This is a trillion times better than the competition (starbucks). If you want exceptional coffee with great flavor & aroma look no further, this is the place for you. They can even sell you their beans and they will even grind them up for you. Again, its way better than the competition. If you arent going to Daily Grind, you arent getting truly great coffee.

Fantastic family-owned coffee chop! Top quality coffee and even better customer service. Owner and family are also very community-focused (they have a free drink token system allowing you to buy/donate a token, thereby prepaying a drink for first responders when they come in).Highly recommend the cold brew - the best I’ve drank! Coconut-flavored latte is also amazing. Don’t miss this great spot in C-ville!

Quaint and bistro styled interior with a family Atmosphere. Easily accessible. Clean restrooms. Affordable coffee with great flavor. My favorite thing is the for here mugs they serve your beverage in if you dont get coffee to go. They also sell pastries and have an ice cream bar. Will definitely visit again.

Great place, the staff is always friendly and the coffee and ice cream is wonderful. I have been here many of times but today when I went they had a sign out front that said If your name is Chris you get a free ice cream cone What?That is awsome!

This place is great. The owner and his staff are very nice. Michael Gorectke’s review is a complete lie. Number one, there is no real medical exemption for a mask. And second, this owner cares about the lives of his customers. I come there often. I highly recommend this place.

Daily Grind is the best place in town to get coffee and icecream and they have dairy-free alternatives. Always fast, accurate service, and always friendly. They also participate in community events and offer food/drinks from other local businesses. Im glad they are local to me and keep us safe by enforcing a mask policy. I eat/drink here at least twice a week

Awful service by the owner! No sale! We planned to buy drinks and ice cream. The owner stopped the clerk before she checked us out. I explained to the owner that my family has a legal medical exemption to the mask mandate. He refused to serve us; he wouldnt offer to bring food out or anything. We try to patronize small, locally-owned businesses whenever possible to help them, so his obstinate, unaccommodating response caught us off guard. Fortunately, we found what we needed from a friendly merchant just a minute or two down the road. Masks dont pay the bills and customers dont appreciate being called liars.

Small local shop, decent selection of Ice-Cream with a small selection of toppings. Ice Cream was Baskin Robbins level but cheaper. Coffee was also decently priced for the quality. Overall decent place for ice cream and coffee.

This place is the best icecream in Charlottesville no questions asked!! My family and I go there every Sunday evening and when we walk in they know us and we dont even have to order anymore because they remember what we want. They are very personable and friendly! We have 2 small kids and they are very sweet to them as well. Keep up the good work!!

The owner and staff are eager to please, courteous and quick. I prefer their coffee to Starbucks because its less bitter. They offer lots of coffee, tea and non-caffeinated drinks, several flavors of ice cream (including a few seasonal ones) and a variety of cones (cake, waffle, Oreo, candy-studded, and pretzel). The slight saltiness of the pretzel cone complements the ice cream perfectly. Their baked goods come from Albemarle Baking Company and are far better than coffee shop chains pastries. The nectarine brioche was heavenly!

Does not offer disposable masks to customers. Also does not respond to complaints directed through their website.

Amazing customer service. They know our orders by heart and actually care about each individual customer. I recommend these guys to everyone who drinks coffee.
