Im no connoisseur but the coffee tasted pretty good to me. Plenty hot but not so hot that I have to wait an hour to drink it. They have a lovely little front patio with plenty of tables, some shade, a few plants to block wind/noise, and flowers.

Love this place! I typically buy espresso based drinks here and have not been disappointed. Their pastries and breakfast sandwiches are also a no brainer

Atlas, in my opinion, is the best coffee shop in a city full of high quality coffee! Their lattes, ice tea, and other drinks are made from scratch and they have a really good selection of baked good as well. I suggest the raspberry triangle or Nutella cookie.

A fantastic little coffee shop! This is one of my favorite spots for a morning coffee. The coffee is delicious, as are the delicious baked goods offerings. The blueberry muffins and banana bread are a couple of my favorites. They also have great egg and cheese breakfast biscuits!

The coffee was a little darker then I prefer, however the staffs sweet and milky charm and character made it a delightful breakfast. Thanks Shannon and Alana.

The staff was wonderful, and this place definitely gets an extra star for them, but I am sad to say the quality of the product was highly unimpressive. Though it was on the cheaper side, my iced coffee tasted, well, tasteless really. I had some cream added that I had then hoped might blend in and at least give me an alright coffee, but it was still a subpar drink following. As a last note, I will say that I had some sort of doughnut (cant remember now) but it was fantastic, so perhaps cheap pastries are what you should get here alternatively to coffee. TLDR: the coffee flavor could use some work, but good people and good pasteries.

Tiny little spot with bar seating and one other table inside. Friendly owners and they are wise to get baked goods from ABC and tacos from Brazos. Several outdoor tables for warmer days. Wish they were open after 3pm and open on Sundays but that wish is purely selfish.

Neber disappoints. Food is great,, coffee is excellent. Traditional cappuccino and machiato as well as American lattes. Doesnt open til 7 which is late for a coffee shop in my opinion but if you have a day where you dont have to be in til 8am, you could make it.

Coffee was good and the girl who helped us was nice and hooked the dogs up with treats.

Really like this spot! Friendly staff and good coffee. Unfortunately they do not recycle which seems absurd considering half their products are recyclable. I have trouble supporting a business that gives out so much plastic and isn’t recycling in 2019.

Best espresso drinks in town! They have homemade baked goods which are very nice. Very polite staff/owner, quick and excellent service. Very few places to sit so you may need to get your coffee and go - this is not a place to sit down and study for hours. There are some outdoor tables for when the weather is nice. There is more parking in the back if any of the 3 spaces in front are already taken. Its a little more expensive than other places but worth the money.

The bacon, egg, + cheese biscuit was amazing.

Great coffee and baked goods and a great atmosphere with indoor bar and outdoor seating. Emma is always a friendly face. I like that you don’t have to pay in advance here, you can sit, order from the bar, ask for a refill and pastry an hour later, and settle up on your way out.

First timer, computer parking lot attendants at every seat. Tables all occupied with aforementioned as well. Wait person, flat affect. I brought my own tall cup, “Half full please” sez I. “That’ll be $2.99” sez she. Coffee review, tasted burned, like percolated coffee 2 hour burned. I will need to try this place again but I am thankful I have the motor skills and intelligence to make my own coffee.

House-brewed Chai was good! Latte was also good. Space inside is really small, dont expect seats unless you get there real early.

Great iced coffee. The spinich quiche with feta was delicious. Perfectly heated and crispy crust. Like a library with patrons all on their laptops. Very friendly owners. Im cycling cross-country and have a rest day. Im going to hang out here all day.

My wife and i walk here just about every Saturday morning. Dog friendly abs awesome coffee. Make sure to try the paleo bites, theyre fantastic and they have the recipe freely available.

A nice coffee house with a house blend of Columbia’s and Costa Rican coffee roasted to a high medium level. The coffee is fairly bold when hot delivering an aroma that is quite robust and ends with a reasonable bitterness. It gives the impression of a full city roast. However when the temperature comes down to the low hundred range it is quite aromatic and flavorful. Having a balanced nose and mouthfeel. The bitterness at high temperature is nearly gone and it is quite good. I like this shop and will visit again since it is very close to my home. The setting is nice, the space compact and it smells as a coffee house should smell. The pastry is very good and the staff is friendly and focused. This is a one coffee place having only their own house blend available. But that is no real problem since it is a blend that I favor.

Not just another coffee-shop. Quaint and courteous. Always fresh. Excellent staff and some eats to knosh as well. Very convenient if youre heading out to 29 North or South, or making a visit to Fontaine Research Park of UVA.

I wouldnt really characterize this place as friendly. They insisted on charging me for milk, and with a terrible attitude at that. Im not from VA, but I have never been forced to pay for adding milk to my coffee. Maybe they just dont like my kind around these parts or something. Success! I shall not be returning.

My favorite coffee shop in Charlottesville, not because its the most spacious or best decorated (its not), but because the coffee is amazing and the people are amazing. If you live near UVA or Frys Spring, this is almost a community meeting spot; the place to run into friends and hear the local news. Everybody Ive met here is amazing.
