People are nice, experienced. Lots of nice fabrics. I have only bought one time, but like checking out fabrics. BUT I have overheard the man talk politics with customers. He needs to stop it or he will lose business. I go to the store to escape politics. SO PLEASE STOP.

The staff is absolutely amazing. I had a bench I was reupholstering and they went above and beyond helping me elevate my project from good to professional quality. If you live in charlottesville or even close by you should not even think about going anywhere but Fabrics Unlimited for your fabric.

I have been talking with Beth to find fabric for valances in my kitchen and dining room. I texted a color swatch of the wall color to her knowing that it was going to be difficult to match via phone. She asked me questions about my style/preferences and then she chose swatches and mailed them to me. She nailed everything! 2 of the swatches were perfect and I knew they were the fabric I wanted.She then helped me pick a valance pattern and even modified it with her special touch to make it unique! She has been extremely helpful and has listened to me and what I want to achieve.We have communicated via email, text, and phone only because I live 5 hours away! The long distance service I have received has been outstanding!I highly recommend supporting this small business!

Have been buying drapery and upholstery fabrics here for years. Staff is helpful in finding fabrics and giving great ideas. Sadly recent tariffs have raised their prices some. For the quality of their fabrics, the prices are typically better and always competitive with other stores.

I stopped here on the way to pick up my son from UVA. I found lots of great decorator fabrics beautifully organized. We just had or house repainted and used the fabrics to refresh and update our house. They have a good selection of outdoor fabrics and wonderful customer service too - very nice people.

This long-time in business fabric store is a gem in a world without many choices when needing fabric. The staff is so helpful, which is what is needed when a fabric decision has to be made. It can be very intimidating to select from the available choices. So glad I stopped procrastinating and took the plunge to venture inside.

This is if not the most knowledgeable group of women running a business that I have ever met. I went in to look for material to create a pro wrestling costume for my son. It was not an easy task. I had to travel an hour to get to their store. They didnt have what I needed, but Beth and three others took the time out to not only measure the model that I brought in (the Jon Snow winter fur coat) but she took my cell phone and typed in all the measurements making it easier for the next establishment to read. As a result yesterday I finally found a place that sold all the materials so Im on my way. When I arrived to the second fabric store, I just handed them my cell phone and they easily understood what I needed. Thanks to a wonderful, wonderful dedicated and super helpful and friendly group of women. I look forward to the day that I can give them my business.

This is a great fabric store! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. With all the online fabric, its nice to see the color and feel the weight of the fabric - no surprises!

Huge selection of drapery and upholstery fabric. Very helpful staff even when they are swamped with customers. Their prices are slightly cheaper than other similar stores in Charlottesville. They offer plenty high quality fabrics to choose from.

I came from Lancaster, Pa for fabric. Fabrics Unlimited certainly did not disappoint! I found exactly what I envisioned for a small slipcovered chair. Will post pic when project is complete.
