Great spot for high end foods that you cannot find easily at a local grocery store. Prices are a bit higher than normal but completely understandable. Produce quality and selection are exceptional.

A very nice local grocery store. We like their filet beef steaks and house-made chicken salad. Also an excellent wine collection especially Rose.

High end grocery store with an excellent cheese department. Delicious bakery with plenty to choose from. They have fresh fish to go with a butcher. Nice wine section as well.

Very disappointed in the bakery. Purchased several items. The coconut cake was very,very stale and didnt taste like it was from scratch.The clerk said it was fresh and from scratch. Please keep your items fresh and date them accordingly.

Top of my list for foreign foods! Great selection of treats from Asia, Europe and other places to tantalize the taste buds. Plus a great deli, carryout meals and produce! I stop by every time I get to the area!

Bought a lemon meringue pie for $14.99. The clerk noted the pie had just been put into the display case; I thought that meant it was freshly baked. Turned out to be a frozen pie clearly purchased from a commercial vendor with the taste and consistency of a frozen pie you might find at a supermarket or bad cafeteria.

This store is awesome!!!!!!! wish we had in Ohio. The Edwins and Kite country hams were amazing. The international selection was fantastic.

I love the brazilian nuts and the farofa (ground cassava).

The selection of food is a taste of all nations. You can tell that they take it seriously because of the way they hire people. It is nice to meet Hispanics, Indians, black, white, and everyone together, enjoying food. Entrance on the other side of Moes BBQ. It is a grocery store, too. Go back to the deli for hot food and the prepackaged sandwiches. You find stuff that you dont normally find in a regular grocery store here.

Good old foods of all nations!

Not the cheapest grocery store around but they carry an interesting selection of items and I always find something good in their deli area. Checkout lines move quick and theres BBQ and Chinese food close by.

Today i asked the deli staff to change her gloves and use a clean knife due to preparing a meat sandwich before me. Im vegan. She said No, that she was not changing knives and that shes not changing gloves because the brace on her wrist is making it difficult to change gloves. And thenasked me what I wanted on my sandwich. I said nothing Ill be speaking to the manager. Which he came and made my sandwich. FOAN teach your staff customer service skills. You do not know what a customer may be allergic to, gloves are to be changed, and I am very disappointed with her lack of service.

This little store is great. Some staple items would be less expensive at other stores but, Foods of all Nations cannot be beat for local products and excellent customer service.

Very cool little grocery. Kind of a mini Whole Foods but some of their prices are shockingly low, especially on the prepared foods. Great place.

We love their bison and so many other products. Many items can be ordered ahead for pick up. If you are making a dish that needs very rare ingredients this is the spot to find those in Charlottesville!

I love getting sushi here for lunch. The staff is some of the best Ive ever met. Its a great place to meet friends, colleagues, and grab coffee, sushi, fresh produce, meat, kombucha, duck eggs, and food from all over the world.

Best upscale market for miles. From the simple to the sublime. Cant wait for Foods North to reopen.

Excellent deli and hot foods. Stopped in for coconut macaroons, which are phenomenal, and picked up some lunch. The three sandwich options were a good value, tasted great, and provided with great service. Like most local grocers, prices are higher than big box stores, but the selection of local, regional, and international items will not be found at the big box stores either. For the authentic and unique, this is definitely worth the look. The selection of small label cheeses was quite impressive, as well as the variety of various sauces and seasonings. We look forward to the opportunity to continue to explore our international palate through this variety of selection.

Always our favorite place to shop in Charlottesville but I just wanted to recognize the staff during this time as we deal with all the quarantine rules. Hayes was so helpful with curbside pickup and we appreciate all your employees!

It used to be a store I frequented from time to time, but no more. Their website states that all employees are required to wear face masks as part of their Covid-19 policy. On the morning of July 9, 2020 (at about 8:45 am) two employees were not wearing face masks. One was the person stocking the shelves, and the other was a person standing behind a counter which is situated behind the cashiers - thats the coffee bar. Also a an employee from Papa Johns (wearing a Papa Johns employee shirt) entered the store not wearing a face mask. He was not asked to wear a face mask. There is a statement on the entrance door stating that all customers need to wear face masks. When I commented about the store not following its own policy, the cashier said one of the employees had a medical condition, but two of the employees (the person staffing the coffee bar, and the person stocking the shelves) were wearing face masks around their necks. Clearly Foods of All Nations does not care about the health of its customers or the health of the community, and is not being honest on their website. Please take some responsibility for telling the truth on your website and take some responsibility for protecting the health of the Charlottesville community.

Ordered food for my daughters graduation celebration from Foods. Everything we ordered (tenderloin, grilled veggies, fruit, smoked salmon, prosciutto wrapped asparagus) was excellent. I need to give a special shoutout to the salmon and asparagus. Truly outstanding. We provided the expected number of attendees and the chef/cooks determined the appropriate quantities. I really appreciated that approach. Thanks!!!

Went into this market to buy a few bottles of wine. The man that helped me picked a bottle of semi sparkling Casorzo. I loved it... what stinks is I cant get it in Florida. Hoping I can find it on my next trip through Virginia in August.

In a city full of little gems, this one is on my short list. The aisles have an amazing array of ethnic staples that arent typically found under one roof. The meats are good, the lunch counter great, and the bakery case... oh man, its a good thing for my waist its more than a 10 minute ride for me to get there.

Love this place! Amazing array of foreign products, like Irish rashers! The coffee bar is really good coffee, and the desserts and fish are really good quality.

More expensive than Harris teeter for most things but they have more products from other countries. I especially appreciate the wide variety of snacks and candies... :)

I order close to 20 cakes a year from here and just had one picked up. It had absolutely no decorations on it at all even though specific colors had been requested. It was not told at pick up why it was not decorated. When we inquired after the arrival of the cake we were told the decorator quit abruptly. Very poor service. We will be taking our orders to a different bakery from now on.

Wonderful shop. My husband is a Brit, and this shop carries many of his favorite UK foods. He LOVES the crumpet brand they carry. Also, they have a nice selection of locally made/grown foods as well.

Some rare (in this town) specialty items and a good deli but man oh man they are expensive. Marie Bette sells baguettes here and the fried chicken is good but otherwise Id never go in here anymore. The cashiers there frequently look like they want to walk off the shift. Its a pretty mind-numbing job (Ive worked a grocery store register before) but why are they so unfriendly?

Sandwiches looked good but no gluten free bread! I choose salad and it was exactly what I needed! Very nice options when it comes to soups! Clean store and nice staff! Will be back!
