Nice store, nice staff, but their inventory is wrong. If their website says this store has it in stock that doesnt mean they actually have it. When I pointed this out they didnt seem very interested in correcting it. Ill just go across the street to the competition as they arent too interested in providing reliable information at this location.

Id never heard of Harbor Freight, but was pleasantly surprised! Great selection with entry to mid level options when you just dont need the premium model.

Purchased a few items ... the stick-up lights didnt work ... when I returned them I couldnt get my refund back on the card I used ... instead they gave me cash which I wasnt too happy about ... anyway ... I also purchased several battery packs ... including rechargeable batteries ... had a lot of duds ... had been once before looking for a couple of large screw hooks ... they dont carry any ... the only reason I am giving them a 2 is because the staff is mostly friendly but not very helpful

Still undecided if the major big brand meats are much better than Harbor Freights no nonsense gimmick free meats. Will try to pan fry tonights purchase and see if it is indeed as tasty as they say.

Shop for an hour got All the things I need up to the front counter no mask problems and then they want me to put something on my face to so I can give them money they refused to take my money because I refused to put their dirty cloth on my face.Seriously people what is this? More slaves of the God of fear I would not do business with these people.

Friendly staff and good prices on everything.

They have what we need at the best price. Weve recently bought a trailer and drove in from out of town to this location to get it. Sometimes you have to go to a different store if theyre out of stock or dont carry the item. Make sure to call ahead to see if they have a title to go with the trailer, because they cant sell the trailer without one.

This is my husbands toy store, as I call it! Its great place for some quality priced tools. All types of tools for mechanics or craftsman..Have discounts and magazines that they send us regularly that we love getting!

Standard store for this type. Mediocre quality This used to be a catalog store with quick deals and area sales setup at various venues for a few days at a time. Great for quick pickup of products. This store is still dealing with supplies issues but ordering is reasonable

I gave them five star. Why?. Tools ate lower price. Same function as a proffetional name brand. I abused my tools. Their tools takes the licking and keeps on working.same way as the pro. Ones. So name brand non name brand. It all comes out, it is the user. Still five star.

Douglas, the employee who was ringing me out, was really nice....I asked if I could purchase a ladder they had on sale and come back and pick it up with a different vehicle. Not only was he accommodating, he even went and grabbed one and carried it up to the front for me. That was great customer service! 😊

Excellent selection of hard-to-find specialty tools that used to be found at Sears Craftsman. Tools surrounding the areas of pneumatics, hydraulics, trailering, fine carpentry, sandblasting, painting, or masonry. Plenty of supplies - washers, pins, casters, fluids, etc. Good prices for the short-lived tools to get started in business or use infrequently. Worth a stop, especially for their sales.

Harbor freight tools have a poor reputation, but in my opinion, theyre excellent. You get what you pay for, and your expectations have to be realistic. That said, I use some of their more expensive tools in my shop, and they hold up as well as many other brands that Ive tried. A lot of the cheap tools are just that, cheap. But I buy those to keep in my car or if I dont use them often, and for the price, theyre exactly what I need.

Great place to get cheap tools....buy a heat (get the warranty) if you use it a lot its basically buying 1x heat gun for life. it done break, warranty has you covered.

Just visited Cvilles new harbor freight store for the first and last time. My husband and i were in there for 45 min and we were well aware that closing time was approaching. My husband was looking at $100+ tool kit that he needed for a project ... (Just making sure it was what he needed) when an employee came up to him and tapped him on the shoulder, then tapped his own wrist and said Hey buddy, were closing at 7. Now, most stores announce to ALL shoppers how long before closing...we were not the only shoppers left at this time, so Im not sure what made this man choose us to single out. But if we hadnt needed the items we were shopping for we certainly would have left them on the floor where we stood when this happened and walked out. Im extremely disappointed in the treatment we received here today. we will NEVER shop at this and possibly any harbor freight in the future.

Lots of good stuff. This is to me what a discount clothes store is to my wife: I have to visit it and touch everything. Their prices are lower than other hardware stores and they have some odd stuff nobody carries.

Had wot needed and got service is great im in the stor 2 or 3 time a week just to see what new I do anything you need I a jack of trades

Store feels clean and well stocked whenever I visit. Staff is friendly and tries to be helpful sometimes you get wrong directions or unknown products.

Its cheap. Thats good. This is definitely a place to pick up disposable items like nitrile gloves, zip ties, cheap brushes for glue, drop cloths, tarps and the like. If you need an extra hammer or some screwdrivers, give it a try.

Great quality tools for the most part, but the prices are even better. Been there multiple times since its opening and STILL getting tools for half or even less than what you would pay at Advanced Auto, Autozone and Lowes. Apply for the newsletter by email and they give out SUPER COUPONS, which save EVEN more money

Mediocre atmosphere, its hard to shop and look around when you have the same person ask you twice can they help us with anything. Started feeling like a suspect.....which I am far from being one. The Richmond VA location is more friendlier than the Charlottesville VA location.
