This company was incredibly accommodating from start to finish! I had to change my move in date on them 3 times due to some contractor delays in my new home. They accommodated my schedule changes and we’re so kind. Jeff with scheduling was so wonderful! There are no hidden fees. It is straight forward and we really appreciated that. The movers were very respectful and careful with our things. I had my floors recently refinished at the delivery location and they even went the extra mile to remove their shoes before entering the home every time, as not to damage them. Our stuff arrived on time for pick up and delivery! Thank you for making what can be a very stressful time that much better! We appreciate you!

We hired Two Men for a local move and were extremely disappointed by the service and professionalism. The crew arrived right on time and things started well. However, the crew rushed through the move an in the process damaged not only our furniture but also our new home. The crew did not show any care in their work and the total lack of responsibility and professionalism was clearly evident. Too bad as we had high hopes tor them but look elsewhere.

Moving is already stressful so imagine what its like when your previous moving service decided to give you the cold shoulder right before you move! I reached out to TMT less than a week before my local move and I was incredibly lucky to have snagged a Saturday because of a last minute cancellation. They saved me! The process was easy. The value was great. The moving team worked quickly, carefully, and seamlessly through the heat and the estimate was right on target. I would recommend this team in a heartbeat and I am thrilled they were able to accommodate me!

I have moved plenty of times in my life but never have I met a crew of this caliber. Strong, friendly, funny and hard working are the few traits that come to mind. The prices are market fair and if you compare the price to the value you get with the crew, you are coming out ahead. We had things already boxed, but they do full service moving as I understand. As it happened we had SIX times the amount of boxes we originally thought wed be moving to storage and they handled it with ease. We gladly paid for the extra time. They managed to get all the boxes in my 10x10 which in fact is really a 9x9, on top of things I already had in there.Thank you Devin, Jonathan, & Charles for a really fun few hours! Our move was a month ago and weve had one headache after another since the move ended. First, an electronic standing desk got damaged during the move. Not really a big deal, I thought, since a damage report was filed and I was assured wed receive compensation for it. Well, despite numerous emails and calls on our end, I didnt hear back again from the company until exactly yesterday, one month later. In the meantime, a second issue had popped up. Somewhere around week two after our move, it became apparent a large box of art (real, framed, costly art) and family photos had been lost in move. After a month without any communication I received an email yesterday offering a resolution at 60 cents/lb of damage for a total of $60. THIS IS LAUGHABLE.For one, I can provide an exact cost for the table (with receipt) to show that the table was significantly more expensive than what the company is offering. Second, the initial proposal didnt even acknowledge or address the fact that items had been lost. Weve had no communication about what has been attempted to locate this box (which, has to be either on a truck or a warehouse). I really feel that the lack of communication has been very unprofessional and the resolution the company has proposed is, frankly, inadequate.One of the reasons we chose this company is because of the positive reviews we found online. We seemed validated in our choice by our positive interactions with Jeff on the front-end of this transaction. However, the moment our move was completed, the company dropped the ball. I feel strongly that someone needs to step up and take charge of communicating with us what is being done to address all aspects of the issues we’ve encountered. No effort has been made to set any of this right. A $60 check for damage and loss that amounts to over $1000, easily is insulting. I will acknowledge that we were offered full replacement insurance at the time of our move for almost $600. The way this insurance was presented was to cover items of unusual value. Unusual value, to me, means jewelry costing thousands of dollars, for example. It was not clear at all that the alternative to electing this overpriced insurance was that Id get essentially NOTHING when things got damaged or lost.Im still hoping this company will try to make things right, but beware that this is how theyre operating.

I am really pleased with what Two Men and a Truck did for me. I was scared that the movers were going to take their time, because I was paying by the hour. They saved me $250! Assembling my furniture took the longest and they did it pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend a local move! They even arrived early. Very professional and respectful. All of my furniture is in one piece. I was rated 200 an hour because of the amount of furniture I had, which was all the sets from bedroom to outdoor. 10/10 recommend

The crew from Three Man and a Truck (was a 3 man crew) arrived on time, were very courteous, hustled and carefully wrapped and moved our furniture. It was a smooth move.

As it turned out, it was five men and two trucks -- we had a lot of stuff... The crew was fantastic! Professional, friendly, flexible... Much better experience than I had had in the past with one of the big guys.

I agree with the review below. Wanted to like these guys but when we were unpacking the storage POD, we noticed our bedroom furniture had been stacked on top of one another with no blankets or protection. Needless to say they got horribly scratched. They also stacked boxes 6 sometimes 7 boxes high and the bottom boxes got demolished holding some of our dishware items. They were terribly careless when packing and things were strewn about with no rhyme or reason or information on the boxes. I sent a message to Jeff two months ago and he said he is sending it to management. Since then, no response. Reached out earlier this week and no response. I told them I didnt even care about the dishware, but I did want to open a claim about the bedroom furniture. Nothing.My suggestion, pack the stuff yourself and supervise as much as possible if you’re going to use this company. If you want to be hands off, find another mover.***Update***So I wrote them an email as they asked below so they could “address my concern” and have yet to hear anything after two weeks. Nothing like trying to save face then taking no action. Stay away

Overall this is a 5 STAR Rating.Well organized company run by professionals. Prompt responses and accurate estimates and pricing. The moving crew are hard working, and never complained. Moving day was on schedule. No delays, well prepared. Compliments to Rachel for her effort in making this a smooth, trouble free move. Thank You folks. The team was professional and quick, they took care to not scratch walls and to treat my property like it was their own. The 3 guys who did my move were extremely courteous, and efficient. Amazing price point too, no hidden costs.

The gentlemen called and told me when they would be there. They were right on time. I was able to take care of last minute stuff while they moved EVERYTHING! And they managed to load, drive 30 minutes, and unload my 2 bedroom apartment in less than 3 hours. I will definitely use them in the future! Highly recommend!!!

The cost ended up being hundreds of dollars below the estimate. I had several large pieces of heavy art that were moved without any damages. When my mattress was delivered earlier, the mattress folks couldnt get it up the stairs-- but the Two Men and a Truck team had no problem getting it up the stairs despite the mattress company saying that it was impossible. 11/10 in customer care from the moving team.

I can not begin to tell you how happy I was with their service. They showed up on time and hit the ground running. This was our first time using movers and they were very patient in dealing with us and explaining the process. We had stuff at our apartment and a storage unit. These guys had the trucks loaded in no time. They were careful with our fragiles, where Im sure I wouldve broken something. The unloading process was just as easy. We started the moving process at 9am and by 3pm in the afternoon, they were on their way and we were unpacking. If you want friendly, hard working movers, these guys should be your number one seed.

We used Two Men and a Truck for our recent local move and we can not recommend them enough! The office team took time to determine how much space we would need and walk us through the process. On the day of the move, the movers were EXCELLENT. They were incredibly careful with our belongings but managed to have us out of our old home in less than two hours. My experience with two men and a truck was excellent! They were so quick and efficient unloading the truck, but were also very careful with all of my furniture and boxes, and did and excellent job of setting the rooms up for me. They were also very responsive and helpful in answering all of my questions leading up to the move.

The company did a great job making my move easy without any issues. Dave and Jasmin in the office made my appointment, sent emails to verify correct info and followed up with confirmations the day before my move. They made sure everything was covered. Dashean and Corey were my team for the move and I couldnt have been more happy with them. They were hard-working, polite and efficient. They made sure my things were packed securely and did a great job of fitting everything into the storage unit. I would recommend this company for any moving needs. I did an out of town move with no problems and will be using this company again if needed.

These guys were amazing! Rachel in the office was so responsive over the phone, and our movers Sean and John were the best! Kind, funny, and so careful with everything! We had several heirloom pieces they took great care of, and everything was wrapped. Everything came through without a mark on it, including our walls. I needed a piano moved quickly, I emailed the company at night and had a response back before I woke up the next morning. The price seemed fair. They gave me a 3 hour window in the afternoon, then called the day of to tell me they could come earlier - which was very much appreciated ad I was trying to get the job done quickly. Raheem, Toude & Vinny arrived at the pick up location and carefully got the piano in the truck and secured faster than we could believe. They delivered just as quickly and carefully. They wore masks while in the home and were polite and friendly. For the level of service the price was more than reasonable, I couldnt be happier and will definitely use again.

In all of the years with twenty or so moves, this was the easiest because of David and Rachel in administration and John, DeMarco and Vinnie doing the packing and loading. Then John and DeMarco delivered the load carefully and efficiently. They unloaded into our new home, set everything up and departed with the greatest attitude. Five wonderful people.

Overall, the team that moved me was great. They arrived during the 30 minute window that was stated and called about 15 minutes out. Team did a quick walkthrough with me and then got right to work. Cody was the one running the crew and was great. Very courteous and professional. His work ethic in particular, was top notch. The team ended up finishing about 2 hours earlier than quoted. Price was a little more than others in the area, but after reading other reviews, it was an easy decision. The owner, Dave, was very personable and answered my all phone calls. Great company.

Mawuko, Devin & Dave did an absolutely phenomenal job moving our large, heavy furniture out of a three story townhouse with a narrow turning stairway and into our new two story home. These guys were friendly, fast, and left not a trace behind on any of the walls or pieces moved. The biggest challenge proved to be getting a four drawer fire proof file cabinet weighing hundreds of pounds down into the basement of the new house. Totally up to the challenge, Two (three) Men and a Truck managed to get the cabinet moved into the basement without incident. My wife and I are very impressed with the service, and will definitely be recommending this company to anyone we talk to planning a move.

I was getting pretty desperate. My daughter is moving to Charlottesville to a new apartment and I was starting to order furniture. We needed a local mover who would also help by storing the furniture before the move. I tried to get a name online but didnt get anywhere and then called a local innkeeper who suggested Two Men and A truck. From the first phone call I knew I was in good hands. Right now as I write this, my furniture has been delivered to the warehouse, received, inspected and is being assembled after a thorough check-over. On August 15th, all of the furniture will be delivered and I will update the review then. Every phone call has been answered by a live person. Every email has been responded to instantly.
