I was disappointed in the overall experience with the staff including management at this location. The original associate was the root cause of the of the shipping issue in erroneously inputting the incorrect shipping address. There was no immediate resolve and I now have to wait until the second week of December to receive the device that was to be delivered 10/29/2021. The original associate became short and passed the issue off to the manager because I asked to double check the shipping address prior to signing off on the (second) purchase. Based on my original experience, there was no chance that I was going to not verify this prior to providing my signature. Fair request. Customer experience is everything.
The outlet that I had gone to was a spinoff of the big ones it was a problem that I was having with my phone in regards to a program that would not get off my front page no matter what I did I went in and I talked to a young man called Iman he was very helpful took my phone asked me what the problem was I explained to him what was going on and Ill say within the time I counted five he had it all taken care of for me I was very grateful that I had gotten someone that had know what they were talking about and doing if I should have trouble with my phones again I would not hesitate to go to the store outlet and ask for for him. Imam was very polite and very courteous he is the manager of the store 😀
Went in this Sunday to buy a new Iphone. Got ignored and when someone else walked in 20 minutes after us, they greeted them right away and asked what they needed. My boyfriend and I couldnt believe it so we left. Was more than ready to drop over $1,000. 🤷♀️
Great experience, and really friendly staff. My salesman John was easy going, and helped me efficiently make my purchase even though his shift was ending shortly before I arrived. He took his time and helped me save on some much needed extras. Great store experience I normally dread!
If you are looking for a good Verizon wireless store, with good or even just half way decent customer service - the store on Walden by galleria mall is NOT the place to go!!My parents were just there, put their name in to be in line and somehow got skipped?! Then the Verizon rep that was walking around doing nothing was told to help my parents. They inquired about the note 20 ultra and this rep said nope, they arent making them no more and we dont have any in stock then he basically walked away from them!! Didnt even offer to check other stores, didnt offer discussing other options... NOTHING!!! my parents were there waiting for a very long time to be ignored, skipped in line and then treated this way by Verizons employee that was supposed to be there to help them! All i know is that this rep is very lucky I wasnt with my parents because I wouldnt have left until I talked to this guys supervisor!! Its obviously not a good fit for him for a job.
I hate going to this place. They took away all the seats except for a couple rock hard seats with no back on them. Extremely uncomfortable and unfortunately you will need a seat because anytime you go there you wait forever to get taken care of. If you want to waste over an hour of your life this is the place to do it at. By the way there is no public restroom either so if you have to go to the bathroom while you are waiting forever you are out of luck.

Ordering my phone online was kind of annoying for me. Its something that I would have preferred to do in person but, picking up my order from the store was fast and easy.
I spoke with a sales man for 2 hours. He was having trouble with his computer, getting prices to load up. I just couldnt agree to the offers. Every phone was financed. Even if they gave you a credit, it applied to each monthly bill and you paid the difference. Thats not so big of a deal, but the $30 a month insurance was the deal breaker. They recommend I just keep it for a few months. Its basically a 2 year financing contract. If you decide you hate their service after a month and cancel, YOU STILL OWE THEM FOR THE PHONE. All of which we were shown were over $800. Ive used verizon before and stopped because of practices like this that you dont realize are a terrible idea until its too late. I thought Id give them another shot 10 years later, but I just have to say no again. I went with a much more affordable provider, and didnt switch to 5G, the newer phones have so much processing power theyre lightning fast, just as fast on 4g as 5g. We were at the store for an hour and a half and we ended up leaving with the wrong color phone. Went back in, wasted 15 min and they couldnt correct the issue, said it was going to, minimally, take 15 more minutes. Also told us upgrading to unlimited would get us free ESPN Plus, which we wanted for some of our kids who live out of town so they could watch the Buffalo Bills games (& the salesperson knew that). ESPN Plus doesnt include NFL nor NBA. And it was not as easy/user-friendly as they said it was to set up.
Dont go to this store if you plan on returning a new phone you dont like. I got told they sell many of the phones and they havent had any problems. Ive been on the same platform and love it, but the phone I went in to return is not good in my opinion. I gave her a laundry list of why I didnt like it and told her I wasnt going to continue to justify why I didnt like the phone and want to go with a different phone. She insisted she wasnt trying to do that, well why are we still standing here talking about it? I have 2 weeks to return. Its my money. Then she was trying to suggest I buy the previous years model phone when I came in with a specific model to buy instead. It was a waste of my time. I left frustrated.I went to another Verizon Store the next day, returned the phone I was unhappy with, bought the phone I wanted, upgraded my insurance coverage, bundled my accessories, got a matching watch in 20 minutes. Ive always gone to the Walden store and previously the salesman didnt have the color phone I wanted and he helped me get it. His words, I will always remember because he impressed me...youre going to have this phone for at least 2 years, you should get what you want. And I did elsewhere. Too bad he wasnt there the day I stopped in.
Went to get a new phone and not only do I end up finding out the kid who sold it to me gave me all incorrect information about the specs but also refused to set up my phone for me claiming he was not allowed to because of covid-19 which I now know, was not true either. He offered me a 30% discount if I bundled accessories which I did not get after looking at the receipt, and he also failed to explain how to activate it from home correctly, which I wouldnt have even had to do if he wasnt being so unbelievably lazy. Not sure if he was simply clueless or just saying whatever he thought I wanted to hear, but either way overall awful experience.

I’ve had terrible experiences in the past with different phone carriers, so going in my expectations were unfortunately not high. But Evan was great in working with me and getting me set up for my new plan! Couldn’t say enough good things about him and the way the store has been working in regards to new protocols! 😊

Resolved my issue. Store is operating in a limited service capacity to manage covid-19 so prepare to wait when going there. Staff are friendly, and attempt to service quickly. If youre poised with your questions, youll be in and out. Store stayed open to service line if customers past the closing time.

Never will I go back here so I waited outside because it said please wait here attendant will assist you something like that I told the lady dont know her name I was picking my phone ok you know went through the process I asked her I was gonna be buying some stuff for my new phone and I asked her if I can set it up at the store she told me no in like to me a rude manner because of COVID pretty much I understood that but dont have to be rude about it. I wouldve been good if she wouldve told me this in a respectable manner. I got my accessories for my new phone the other lady that assisted me was a little better though so I appreciated it kinda. In simplist form I will never go back to this Verizon I will take my business elsewhere more closer to my place. Better get your manners in working order Walden and Union Verizon.

Not Happy with this branch at all. This week I tried to buy a phone charger for my son who was in the hospital. I called to see if they had one prior to coming down. A non-friendly impersonal message said to buy on line at the Verizon website. I called again, and they digitally wanted my security code. No human contact, and they evidently dont care about customer service in that store!So I called Verizon on Transit Road, who answered the phone, did not request my security code and they verified they had the product in stock. So I took my business there and I was greeted at the door by a friendly salesman who walked me to the sales station and I paid for it...BRAVO!I am a 25 year customer, two months ago, my wife and I decided to buy two new phones, at the WALDEN STORE (at any price) I had a MOTO and she an old IPhone. I asked them what they had in a MOTO because they have a reputation for good reception and I live on the edge of the coverage (very poor reception in Newstead/Akron County line. BTW Verizon has done nothing to improve their coverage in 25 years)The sales lady said she has a MOTO G Stylus, I said okay...what does it look like? She said...I cant show you because of COVID. You have to look at your phone to see it. I said, Can I see a display model...she says: We dont have it on display. So we take a chance and by them without looking.After taking them home, I discovered that STYLUS means an attached stylus pen on the phone. I WOULD NOT have purchased it with this accessory had I the opportunity of inspecting it prior to purchasing it unseen! The sales lady never even mentioned it!So they bring up two boxes, two cases, two protective lenses and two chargers. I say... are you converting the phone numbers and data over? They say...Oh NO we dont do that because of COVID you have to do this yourselves. Its easy! I say...I am an old man, I dont do this stuff you mean you will not help? They say...Oh there a help number you can call they will help you!BTW the week before my son dropped his phone in a trout stream and he went for a replacement set up at Verizon Transit Road Store and they converted everything on the spot! Perfect Service!So I take this stuff home back to AKRON and commence to convert every thing over... mostly okay except we get to the wifes phone...I Phone...not android it does not convert. I electronically make contact with some helpline ROBOT on the line! Impossible! So I load all of my wifes contact numbers in manually . OKAY....now I discover the sales lady gave me the wrong phone chargers! Now for another wonderful trip back to the Walden Store! After waiting in line, the manager apologized and took something off the bill for my inconvenience... very nice, but it does not help much.If this is their vision for customer service they can have it! Im stuck with new proprietary Verizon phones for the next few years, and also suffering in an area of poor reception. (so bad I had to buy a Spectrum land line) and now the recent attempt to purchase a charger just renews the bad feelings I have developed over this store.

I have had Verizon wireless for over 20 years. The service has always been great. They were forced to bring back unlimited data which is nice. I wish they werent overpriced but I guess it is what it is.
Ive been playing phone tag with Verizon since my phone has been broken. Went into the store to get it taken care of (the woman on the phone from Verizon actually made the appointment for me) and was told they couldnt help me, I had to call a different number... This isnt half of the issues Ive had to deal with them this week...
Service is tremendously SLOW!Wish they had more staff up and running. After work hours is when most people go to do stuff like this, however, they were understaffed.Once I was with the agent, he was extremely nice and apologized for the long wait.

The lines take a long time. Not fun to stand in the sun. Too I had some issues I wanted taken care of and they basically said take care of it yourself. On a positive note they did precheck us in while inline.

My phone didnt ring, went straight to voicemail. Setup app showed that all rings were on. Verizon employee reset my whole phone without losing anything. I now have a phone that rings again. Great customer service.

Took almost 30 min to be seen they told us they had a phone in stock (3 of them no less) and it (they) somehow all vanished when the rep went back to get the phone. Ended up upgrading and buying accessories at Best Buy. As a person who used to work for this company, they have gone down hill in term of customer service.

If I could give this location a 0, I would. The worst customer service experience ever! I went to this store because my phone broke. I waited 20 minutes for someone to finally help me. A man by the name of David started to take care of me. I asked him what my best options were and that I would like to have the phone that day. He said that I have been paying for insurance and I had the option to get a new phone for $89, but I would receive it until a couple of days because it was a Sunday. He said that he could get me a phone that day and it would be cheaper. I said how is that. He said he could get me into a new phone for only $60 AND it would only be $10/month for 24 months. I was confused, because I know I may be a little older, but my math skills are impeccable. I asked him how did he think that was cheaper. He said because the $60 is less than $89. I said, well what about the $240 that I will eventually end up paying?. He wasnt getting it. I told him I would use the insurance and wait until Tuesday. He said I needed to call a number. I said okay, I cant use my phone and whats the number?. He went to the back room for about 10 minutes and dialed the number for me at the store. Once connected, he told me to follow the prompts and then left. I thought he was coming back to help me, then I saw him with new customers. Im sure he dumped me because he wasnt getting commission on selling me a new phone. When I went back to him for help. He told me I had to wait because he was with a customer. I said, well, I was his customer. He directed me to a manager, Matt. I tried to explain what happened and he told me that didnt happen. I said it most certainly did and he told me that if I continued to give him an attitude he was going to ask me to leave. Seriously?! THIS VERIZON LOCATION NEEDS SOME TRAINING ON CUSTOMER SERVICE, RESPECT AND THEY NEED TO BE REMINDED AS TO WHO THE CUSTOMER IS THAT IS PAYING THEIR SALARIES! Also, the insurance company gave me a rate of replacement at $149, not $89 like the sales rep, David, told me. They dont even train their employees with correct information! This store is TERRIBLE! Dont go!!
Needed an upgraded phone and accidentally got one of the best new models. Sounds dumb but thats how I wanted it. Easy. No work on my end. They transferred everything over and I ended up getting out of there in under an hour with total satisfaction.
Came in to upgrade my phone and worked with a member named Shane. Hes an Air Force veteran so thats awesome to relate to that. He also gave incredible service, no drama sales gimmicks. The overall service from him is something I like to see from every Verizon employee.

No help in store regarding my plan. Every question I had they gave me a phone number for. My 3 year old had to use the restroom, they refused. She had an accident and I had to go to the gas station next door. Not coming back. What happened to the old Verizon customer service???
From the moment I walked into the store I was treated with respect and acknowledged immediately. I was assisted by a sales rep who was not only friendly but went over different options with me in regards to the differences in the two phones I was comparing. I ended up leaving with a note 8 which I am completely satisfied with.

Hate verizon but family likes it. About a year ago I dropped my 3 month old phone and it broke. Went in and they could do a absolutely nothing for me. Only thing would be to buy a new phone or go somewhere to get it fixed. If you do the math on the insurance (I think $11 a month), you will pay more for life of phone, usually 2 years. What people dont usually realize is that there is a $150 deductible. I knew this and choose not to get insurance on my phones. I went to the galleria mall and had it fixed at a kiosk for $200. My point was if I buy any other product- a car, dishwasher, television etc I either get it replaced or they help me out. I went into the store and they DID NOTHING for me. I caused a scene in the store but they didnt care. Like I said this was about a year ago and it still makes me mad!

Sold me a 45 dollar package ( a month! ) that was supposed include the 5G Network. Come to find out this area doesnt have 5G! The saleswoman lied and signed me up for a useless package.
NOT HAPPY with them.🤨😣😥. If you go in and ask them how do I fix some of the things I messed up they take your phone from you and fix it most of the time. Give it back to you and say there you go GOOD BY. I ask them if they have a book or something you could look at and fix it your self like they use to have. CAN you HELP US? Im sure others feel the same way.
I went there because my sons phone stopped charging. We were assisted within a few minutes and the associate was attentive to our needs and ordered a new one under manufacture warranty and also swapped phones around so he would have use of a phone till the new one came and he can get it switched over.

Are used to absolutely love Verizon! The last time I was In the Cheektowaga store they completely messed up a new line that was put on our plan. It took me at least 10 hours to get it straightened out. Plus now you have to wait on hold forever they used answer the phone.
At first, this Verizon location appears and functions like a well oiled machine. If you are lucky enough to work with a handful of their knowledgeable staff.However, if you are unfortunate enough as my parents were this afternoon, to work with one of their untrained, disinterested, and misinformed employees you may as well find the closest wall and bang your head on it repeatedly.Simple processes, such as turning in an old smart phone for trade in value on your new one, become a three ring circus, and if you request to speak to a manager, you are spoken down to and made to feel foolish.Verizon, your network and services are great.Your retail stores leave something to be desired.

We were still paying for a cell phone its only 2 years old we were having problems with it we brought it in they changed the card in it it wouldnt work afterward instead of taking care of us they want us to buy a new phone we still didnt pay for the old one will never go there again we went to T-Mobile better price brand new phones and we pay less whats wrong with this picture the people in the store were helpful but corporate sucks never go there again
There is absolutely NO deviation from ridiculous policies regarding faulty equipment. I have a repeat internal problem with my Google pixel that has been a nightmare and a replacement for 6 months. Same issue with the replacement but since the screen is cracked they automatically void any warranty. I have a disabled person at home to take care of but I am NOT now reachable by phone.
