I had Ari and I absolutely love her. My first wax experience happened at the Greenville, NC location and when I moved home for the summer I went to the Chesapeake, VA location and had a completely different experience. Ari is so professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. She makes me not dread a wax. She also makes sure that you maintain proper skin care. 10/10 recommend Ari :)

ARI IS THE BEST! THIS PLACE IS ALWAYS CLEAN, PROFESSIONAL AND THEY ARE ALL WALKING YOU THROUGH WHAT TO EXPECT.

The experience all depends on who you get. Ari by far is the only one to ask me if I exfoliate and moisturize during my Brazilian. She educates me what it does for my skin and I like going to her for my waxes.

The person I had was very nice but unfortunately she did leave quite a few hairs on me. She said it was ingrown hairs so I believed her until I came home and saw the hairs were not ingrown. I’m fine with some little pieces of wax on me but I would’ve really liked all the hair gone.

I’ve had great experiences here. Receptionists are great and the waxers are great people. I can’t give any more than 2 stars because I haven’t gotten an actual good Brazilian yet. There’s always hairs left, sometimes huge patches. I always go home and check and I’m always disappointed. I have a subscription and all I can do for future waxes is hope that they get all the hairs. And a tip for the waxers, if someone is checking to see if you missed hairs; don’t get offended by it. I’m paying for this service not begging for it.

I went in for a Brazilian awhile ago and the lady did not get everything off and actually left small traces of wax on my skin which is painful when you take off your clothes at home. I just felt like my particular waxer didn’t know what she was doing.

5 stars for my wax experience. 0 stars for the professionalism of your receptionist (Olivia). She was loud, boisterous and unprofessional. Im unsure why she felt it was ok to talk about her personal life to the other receptionist as if she was at a rock concert. She seemed very comfortable with her actions. Volume was on MAX combined with laughing and carrying on. I do believe employees should enjoy their jobs but there are certainly limits. Especially when in such a small space. She was so loud, I stood outside until my wax professional came to get me. Love the wax by Ms. Riviera but I will have to wait outside for future appointments if your receptionist is unable to act professionally.

Ari is a professional and have excellent communication skills. She provides recommendations on how to prevent the wax from sticking to your skin. She will let you know which new products will work on your skin to make your next wax appointment more comfortable.

When I called back they couldnt take me back in and said I had to make another appointment which is no good to me since I was leaving for a trip for two weeks and cant make it back in their 5 day grace period. They’ve experienced issues over the past year and it shows. The waxers don’t keep up with their schedules (waited 30 minutes for my scheduled appointment because the waxer was running behind) and the girls at the desk are rude. I’ve been visiting this location for a while but I am switching to VB.

Extremely disappointed with the waxing center. Ive been coming here with my child for over a year now and have never had an issue. Due to my situation if I want to do self care my child must come with me and I understand many places have rules and regulations due to covid and sometimes only the person getting the service can show up. Well not once had I been told anything about my baby coming with me but suddenly that became an issue. I will respect restrictions but when an establish picks and choose when their restrictions apply its EXTREMELY inconvenient and unprofessional. I asked when did the restriction of bringing children took place and was told its been in place since covid began. I mentioned not once have I been told anything but the woman informed they havent enforced it but now that they have a sign up on their door I shouldve read it. Ridiculous! If you have rules enforce them from the get go, not suddenly.

Talk about cold and uninviting.It was my first time getting a wax and I would never come back. The young lady at the front desk was talking trash about a client in front of other clients. Very unprofessional.

I had a horrible experience here. By the time my wax was complete I felt raw.😭Im not an esthetician but I do know that you cant rip melted wax from someones skin. She did this repeatedly through the whole process.Note: this was not the owner I think she was an intern or seasonal worker.Again, my experience was horrible but Im sure the owner would have been a better experience.

Upon trying to make the appointment over the phone the receptionist wasnt knowledgeable on how to do so because she was brand new so I asked if I could get someone with more experience that didn’t help either when they asked me what day and time I would like to come in I was rejected twice so then I asked what time and date was available for the wax technician and to put me down for that date I checked in and was greeted by Taylor she was polite and did my wax. As she was waxing me I felt major irritation she waxed the same area several times and said it was her technique because she wants to get every strand when she was done I looked down and noticed patches of hair left behind I pointed it out to her but she had an excuse why she didn’t get those hairs I went to check out and again the receptionist didn’t know what they were doing i wanted to come in for a follow up but started my period two days later so i had to wait a week before I could go back I explained that to the manager Olivia but she said my experience overall was normal because she’d been through the same thing

Absolutely horrible. Half the hair is still there. Complete waste of money. 30 bucks for what looks like a two year old with wax. Never going again

Went to get a Brazilian. Got in and out pretty fast so much hair was left over and the wax was extremely hot! When I told the lady she turned the warmer down but immediately started to apply the wax again!Front desk ladies are always very rude and snotty in their own ways. Definitely wouldn’t recommend only reason why I’m not putting zero stars is because how fast the appointment was.

My Wax Tech was amazing. Her name is Taylor. She was thorough friendly fast knowledgeable and most of all she made me feel at ease. She was really professional and She really showed grace and care when working with me. She really tailored to me and my situation because I was pregnant. Taylor was everything customer service was supposed to be, she made sure I didnt have any questions and that I knew what to expect before starting the process. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I was amazed at her services and she did a beautiful job. The Receptionist Tayla also did a great job. She was friendly and highly customer service oriented. She took her time to explain my appointment to me and what it entailed. She directed me in when I got lost on the drive there. She was super knowledgeable about the products and services and even help me get a package. They definitely made me a customer for life thank you guys.

Now with COVID I see they are taking so many precautions like contact-less check in, they took my temperature before they took me back, and all staff were wearing masks. I also love their products. I use their brow powder every day.

I have been coming here since last October. I had a really good wax specialist who left the company between my last two sessions. I was quite sad since I felt I had built a rapport wit her. So the receptionist, I believe it was Crystal, put me with Ashley, because she felt her and I would mesh well. So I was a bit nervous going in this last time. Then Crystal told me to let her know how it went so she could fix any issues I had. Well, I have to say, Crystal made a good recommendation. Ashely was very professional, and made sure to take care of me. She made sure I was comfortable and not in pain.So between my sessions running out and my wax specialist leaving, I was on the verge of not buying a new package, to now, completely changing my mind and looking forward to my next session and buying a new waxing package.

I went on February 15, 2020 and it was my very first time ever getting waxed. Crystal took very good care of me and answered all of the questions I had. She was very informative about the products that she was using and she made me feel very comfortable during the waxing. The front desk staff was amazing as well. They were friendly, outgoing and very helpful with setting up my next appointment. I enjoyed this salon so much I immediately called friends and family to let them know my experience and hopes to have them experience the same thing I did. Thanks EWC for everything ! Good service and attention. The place seems like it could use a fresh coat of paint in the back room. Was annoyed that because I went to a EWC 10 years ago, I couldnt use the first time discount 😂 seriously tho, the ingrown hair serum is better than anything out there.

My first visit was during Covid, masks were worn amd cleanliness was a priority. I appreciated that! The wax they use did not hurt as much as regular wax seems too, although it is still a hard wax. Phone answering is hit or miss, I needed to reschedule and it took 3 days of intermittent calling to not be put directly on hold.

EWC is a great spot! I love working with Megan.

The technician was ok. I had to tell her to put lotion on my legs after half leg waxing. I don’t think I should had to suggest that but what it really discussed me was how dirty the floor was ....it look like it wasn’t vacuumed nor mopped in days, hairs and other stuff all over the floor. You think that these kind of businesses would care about cleanliness and sanitation especially in this time. I would not use this facility again. Poor mgmt

My husband is in the military and has been gone for 3 months. He gets home on Friday. I wanted to get a Brazilian in anticipation of his return and for something new and sexy for both of us. I also haven’t done anything for myself while he’s been gone so this was going to be my first wax and me treating myself. I was already nervous and vulnerable going into this appt. I have a 2 yr old, 10 month old, and I am 5 months pregnant with our 3rd baby. So, I got a baby sitter for my appt. I was unexpectedly stopped by the draw bridge on battlefield on my way the appt. Knowing that I was going to be late, I called EWC and let them know. The lady had me cancel my additional eyebrow waxing, but she said I could keep my Brazilian. She said I was fine as long as I arrived by 1120. When I got to EWC, they had a text check in system in place that I had to read and carry out before my check in. That process probably took 2 min total. When I finally got called into the store, the lady said that I needed to reschedule because I got there at 1122 (2 min passed 1120). I get it, I probably should have asked the sitter to get to my house earlier to avoid trouble with traffic or time delays. I can own up to that. However, despite my tardiness this company treated me with zero grace or kindness. They showed no mercy in their system and were very insensitive and didn’t seem to care about keeping a customer. I do not recommend going here. My short experience with them was cut throat and cold. If you want to feel like a number instead of a human being, go here.

The first time I had visited European wax center I had an appointment with Sarah. I wasn’t waiting long until I was greeted by her. She had taken me to the waxing room. She answered all my questions and put all concerns at ease. Her knowledge on skin, products, and after care made me feel like I was in good hands. When she preformed my Brazilian, she was fast and very proficient. Even with the expected discomfort that comes with waxing I felt comfortable and confident with my waxing professional. She has done a phenomenal job! I would recommend her to anyone considering getting a waxing service.

Showed up 1 minute past the 9 minute late policy due to the address being wrong on Google and Jessica was extremely unprofessional and unaccommodating.

The women were very rude and condescending, they treated me and my family poorly, the woman who did my eyebrows did a terrible job and left my eyebrows bleeding. The place was not clean and I waited 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment for service.

Taylor was my waxer and she was awesome! The wax was as painless as it could be and she has a very friendly personality. I’m definitely requesting taylor again!

This was my first experience with European Wax Center and it was AMAZING. I had a Brazillion with Nina, and it was the most painless one I’ve ever had. The store is exceptionally clean and everyone is very friendly. I was in and out in 15 minutes!! I’ll definitely be back.

Coming here to say I love Sarah/only book Sarah! This is my second time (June 2020) coming to this specific location. My first time (Feb 2020), I had a really bad experience with Ashley. I had ingrowns (which are still present till this day), lots of bleeding, and a messy job. The wax was too hot too. She didn’t let it cool before putting it on my skin. Also, there was a lot of dried wax when I got home. Mind you, I never had these problems at the other EWS’s I’ve been to (been getting waxed for 4 years now only at EWS). I was scared to go back but after seeing everyone say Sarah’s name in the Google reviews, I decided to give Chesapeake one more try. I’m glad I did because Sarah was amazing. She talked me through it, cleaned me up, and left me good as new. Definitely going back! Thank you, Sarah!Also, both times I’ve gone, the receptionists are fun and bubbly! They are easy to talk to and definitely make the experience even better

I had a great experience. Just a warning: this is not like going to a salon. They do not have peaceful Zen music playing and give you cucumber water. They keep it quick and I so appreciate that so that I can get my waxing done and get out during my busy schedule. Honestly, thats how I prefer it.

They were completely cool with me bringing my 7 mo old with me and while he chilled in his carseat they had me in and out in 15 min! Ill be making my next appointment soon!

Dont take the complimentary wax by the person in training! My wax was patchy and wax was left on my skin. I called and was told they dont offer touch-ups for complimentary service even though the receptionist told me otherwise on the day of service. Very unprofessional, I won’t be back.

Whitney is the best when it comes to Brazilian wax and she talks you through it if its your first time. I dont let anyone else wax me.The environment is very welcoming and relaxing. The receptionists are kind and always smiling as they greet you.

This location is super cute and the staff is really nice! The only problems for me were the fact that they dont wax your happy trail when you get a brazilian and most places do (get what you pay for I guess). There was still alot of hair left over after my wax and she didnt bother trying to clean it up. Lastly Im familiar with waxing Ive been geting it done. for about 3.5 years and I know what it feels like when wait a long period of time in between waxes but that was extremely painful. Fastest wax I ever got though!

Damaged skin. Twice. Very hard to deal with front desk. You will never get any help or money back. After bruises. They wanted to charge me $58 more on top of the $128 credit I already paid. Poor service and support. The wax techs are nice and so I wish the store was better for them.

Yesterday I went to get my first Brazilian wax ever and process was done so quickly and In my opinion wasn’t painful at all! The lady who provided services to me was very awesome and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process her name was La La ! The staff there are wonderful as well and very nice being sure to answer any asked questions! Well I went for a waxing and then went back for the touch up because there was still a lot of hair in the areas where I really wanted them gone so hoping this would take place but it didn’t. I still have a significant amount of long hairs I can literally grasp in my lady area and at this point all the money I paid I will not be returning to this location. I never have this problem in Houston. Please cancel the upcoming appointment you charge too much to make such careless mistakes. I paid 154 for services plus tipping and I’m unhappy. you don’t know they missed anything until you get home totally upset.

Great conversation to keep my mind off the pain then finding out it didnt hurt. She was explaining to me how a wax is more healthier than shaving. Took a bit longer than expected to be seen. Its weird because they only give u like a 7-9 minute grace period for u to show up, but they took like 10 + minutes for me to be seen. Overall, staff was friendly and as always LALA was perfect!!!!

Super clean space and the staff is amazing. It was my first manzillian so I was definitely nervous, but the wax specialist talked me through it and I will definitely be coming back next month. Their body exfoliating gel is also awesome, ask them to try it out on you, you will be SHOCKED.
