Horrible service. I went for an appointment, with all details given online, but still have to wait for 30+ mins. I understand there were 2 more waiting before me, but suddenly 3 more those who checked in after me also started getting served, but not me.When I enquired about why? He answered some vaccine changed in system. I have to cancel my appointment, as I don’t want to get the wrong vaccine. Really a horrible place. Will never go to this pharmacy again.
Some of the associates are kind, but this place has given me the wrong prescription on multiple occasions. Wrong dosages and even completely incorrect prescriptions have been given to me. Dont feel safe purchasing here anymore because I always have to triple check the names and directions of meds they give me to make sure they match up with what my doc prescribed. Lines for drive thru pick up are understandably long as they are understaffed. Theyre probably doing their best, but I just cant risk getting the wrong meds again.
Dont bother trying to call...This CVS staff apparently doesnt know how to answer the phone. Its not their fault though, theyre most likely SWAMPED at 7:00 AM on a beautiful, sunny Sunday morning (and feel the need to keep you on hold for 15 minutes before just ending the call 😑)
Pharmacy assistant helped me get the best price I could for a med that wasn’t covered by my insurance. Appreciated the care.
Do not go to CVS if youre looking for 3-day testing before a flight. The airline would not let me board my flight and the results arrived to my phone an hour after the flights departure. CVS needs to make it clear that they are not equipped for pre flight testing! I am out over 2500 dollars because of CVS as to get another flight I would be forced to retest ans wait 3 additional days as per entry countries requirements. Covid is madness and blame China!
Minute clinic miss leading billing and miss informed physicians(but all in all physicians are great!) . My wife went For an appointment and before she agreed to submit a test to a lab for testing she asked the physician what will be the total cost with the testing and all. She came back and said ALL INCLUDED about $150 or so so we said ok that’s cool let’s do the test. 3 weeks later we get another bill for $339 from lab Corp..
The staff seem friendly enough. Their wait times are unsavory, however. Average was about 12 to 15 minutes per car. Although this is my fault for not checking, my order which was placed 4 days prior had not even been started. So I waited 45 minutes in line for nothing. Yay.
Slowest pharmacy ever. Be prepared to wait 15 minutes + in store. I just left
The absolute worst. Unprofessional, unsanitary and incompetent. Wait times are inexcusable and they ignore the phone. They test for covid inside and they have people standing around, coming in and out multiple times who have COVID symptoms or even a positive test. You can make an appointment, and they will put up an out to lunch sign and return whenever they feel like it irregardless if they have sick people waiting.
Very pleased with the effort they make to help me. No
Speaking for myself, the staff, as a whole in the pharmacy are very nice and kind and always have been. Though they are understaffed and there is always a wait or seem to be out of meds a lot. However coming from Florida 7 years ago, that seems to be a problem no matter what kind of store you shop here.
This is the worst pharmacy in the world do not get your medication filled here you will be dead by the time you get it. Especially if you have COVID-19 they need to be out of business
Called to see when my prescription was going to be ready. They told me one hour. I went 6 hours later and waited in the drive thru for an hour and 21 minutes and still have yet to be served. I was told there were several people inside and it was going to be a while. So if we go inside we get priority over the drive thru? This is ridiculous. I have only had horrible service at this location.
I waited over an hour to get a covid test. All the signs telling you where to park were knocked down. I went through the drive through and the pharmacist told me to go park in the front and wait for the test. After an hour I went back and the other pharmacist then told me my appointment was cancelled. I was sitting in 90 degree weather with no ac and no drink. The guy who was doing the covid tests was wiping his nose with gloves on as well. Dont suggest getting tested here. Very unprofessional place.
One thing I want to say is DISAPOINTED about how many time I come to pick-up medicine.
Needed medication was put on hold for 30 min they just kept putting me on hold didn’t get my medication and was sent to the er
Literally waited over an hour to speak to someone on the phone at the pharmacy. Just to fill a prescription. And this isn’t the first time this has happened. If they’re so busy they should HIRE MORE PEOPLE.
If there was an option for 0 stars I would have chosen that. The store is fine, the pharmacy is horrible. They are always understaffed, disorganized and most of the staff is rude. They dont answer the phone, the lines are always long and the wait is ridiculous. They started off great, just got too big for their own good. If they dont start staffing appropriately, Ill be taking my business elsewhere.
No one answers the phone
Just trying to get through to the pharmacy to transfer my prescriptions as my insurance requires me to use cvs. On hold 13 minutes only to be hung up on.
There is absolutely and positively no one answering the phone at the pharmacy ever! I have already had a 13 minute wait followed by a 11 minute wait and as I am writing this review I am on my 23rd minute of waiting! Sad part about this is I am answering their phone call
Does it really need to take 45 minutes to get through the drive thru when its 11 pm and only 1 car in front of you?
Worst pharmacy ever! Prescriptions called in 2 days before and still not ready. I even received a text saying it was ready. The guy told me he can’t control what texts are sent out and that they are days behind. This is the third time I’ve been there and my Rx was not ready. And the customer service is awful....very rude!
The only good thing I can say about this pharmacy is that they stay open 24 hrs.Its almost as if they put conscious effort in being the absolute worst pharmacy to deal with. Its as if they want you to switch to another pharmacy.
The absolute worst customer service in the pharmacy department Ive ever experienced. Its absolutely ridiculous. No greeting not thank you come again. Nothing. 100% rude. Im taking my prescriptions back to Walgreens.
The staff does the best they can most are under staffed and they are pretty much the only one in our area open 24hr.
I agree about a zero star rating. This is perhaps the worst pharmacy ever. Staff is friendly but incompetent. Long wait only to deal with someone who does not seem to know their job.
The pharmacy part is always to busy and not enough staff. It takes forever to have prescriptions fills and 40% of the time they have something out lf stock. Also, when I ask a question about a medication they didnt listen to me and I got a wrong answer. The rest of the pharmacy is good. The employees are friendly and helpful.
The drive through wait time is ridiculous. It seems they help all the people inside the store before the drive through. Associates are rude. Said my prescription was ready for pickup, but when I got here, they didnt have it pulled because they werent sure that i wanted to pay the 1.50 for the medicine. I mean really? Why wouldnt I want to pay that? Switching to Walgreens
I called this morning around 11:30 trying to get my sons medication and I was on hold for almost 50 minutes the phone then hangs up I attempted to call back the same thing I called a third time and I spoke to the shift store manager and he was rude and nonchalant. I Understand the pandemic but if there is suppose to only be 10 people in the store at a time then I’m not sure what’s going on according to the manager apparently it was more than 10.
Convenient and reasonable prices.
Absolutely the worst experience ever.hey screwed up the billing on my prescription now I got to wait an hour and a half.I wish I could give this place negative Stars
You call to fill your order in pharmacy and guess what out of stock. This place tells you they called when in fact they did not. Nice place if you do not need anything.
Easily the worst CVS in the area. They regularly take over 20 minutes to take care of a single customers prescription pickup. They are ALWAYS understaffed. My medication is usually late getting refilled.
I scheduled Covid test for 11:40... been here one hour and 30 minutes. No movement. No one to help you ..no one answers phone.Pathetic
This pharmacy is never stocked. Even with everyday adhd, heart, blood, and migraine medicine. They have OTC items that are always stocked, but the actual prescriptions are always out. Ive been on hold for 10 minutes (since 830am) trying to see if they have my antibiotics for an ear infection in stock.
I concur with all of the one star negative reviews. Its been my experience exactly!
Very professional. Know their stuff. Very accommodating. Best place to turn in scripts & get them then & there👍🛌
They NEVER answer the phone. Customer service is god awful. 24/7 pharmacy, my behind
Say only hold for over 45 minutes attempting to find out if my sick child’s medicine is ready that I dropped off two hours ago and was given a one hour wait time. The store manager isn’t very helpful either. It’s sad I’m attempting to get medication for a six toddler and if I would have known it would be all of this to do so i would have definitely gone to another pharmacy. Still don’t have my child’s medication or an update on when it’ll be ready because I can’t get ahold of anyone and I don’t want to keep bringing a six 6 year old out in 30 degree weather smh. I will not be returning to this location after this.
This pharmacy is the definition of the type of pharmacy you want to avoid and an example of “How to Not” run a business. Always out of stock for prescriptions. Rude. They like to make you wait since they are hourly. Words can’t express how poorly managed this pharmacy is. I understand they are busy. But they need to get it together. Get staff that actually knows what they are doing or get them out of there
I have been going to this CVS for a very long time and in the past I would have given it a 5, but 2 months ago this store has not only changed the inside look it changed the staff in the Pharmacy. Every encounter I have had has been less than pleasant and I agree with most all of the complaints below. The staff are obviously not happy working there. There customer service is horrible and they could really careless if you are satisfied or come back. I made a complaint with the administration office and I would recommend everyone else to do the same. We are paying for a service they are not providing us with.
Waited on hold for over an hour and than they just hung up, called back to talk to a manager and they put me on hold again for another 10 minutes and than hung up again. They have the worst customer service
I have absolutely no issue with the store, however the pharmacy has been far too behind when filling prescriptions. This was never an issue up until about a year or two ago, because CVS was always on top of it. However, when I submit prescriptions for same-day, or even next-day, pick-ups it can take 4 days for my prescription to be filled. Usually this doesn’t bother me too much unless it is a prescription that I need to begin to take immediately and I do let them know that I need it filled ASAP. Just the other day, I had a very rude encounter at the drive thru. I was getting a Covid-19 test in one lane and switched to the other lane to pick up my medicine. I could clearly hear the pharmacy tech talking about me in a rude manner to the next customer in line and how I “didn’t know what I was doing” because their microphones were not working and I couldn’t hear a word they were saying. Please go back to the old CVS pharmacy where prescriptions were filled as scheduled and the staff was not rude! (I used to be a pharmacy tech in a hospital so I do completely understand it can get overwhelming at times).
If I could rate this pharmacy a 0 I would. I loved cvs where I was located previously, however this one is horrible. The professionalism, cleanliness, and overall Customer service is disgusting. I’m switching to another pharmacy immediately. Horrible.
Worst pharmacy in the area. Rude technicians gossip and text instead of answering phone calls and filling prescriptions.
Rude and disrespectful. When I shared with the pharmacy manager that I was not pleased with her staffs customer service she rolled her eyesAvoid at all cost and report them to corporate. No one should be treated this way.
I was on hold for more than a hour (yes it’s not a typo) and no one ever picked up the phone ....how can this CVS be considered a dependable pharmacy for your healthcare need? Really disappointed!!!!
The pharmacy is extremely busy. If you want a prescription filled in a reasonable time, go to Walgreens or Rite aid.
Go somewhere else, for the love of God and all that is holy, do not go here!!
After arriving at CVS to fill my prescription I was told it was going to be a 2 hour wait to fill. What could I do, so I said “ok” Keep in mind I was going in there because I was sick and wanted medication to get better sooner. More than 2 hours go by and still no notification that my prescription was ready. So I decided to call them directly. After being on hold for 15 mins someone finally picks up. I asked what was the status of my prescription and I was told it would be another hour.😡At this point I wouldn’t take that for an answer and was on my way back to CVS to get my prescription filled somewhere else. Upon arriving I asked the pharmacist where is my prescription and she said that it would be ready for you at the pick up desk...ok. I was able to speak to the pharmacy tech who told me it was going to be another hour and asked what’s with the miss information. His excuse was, “I just got here and I said that it would be ready within the hour”. That’s definitely not what I was told over the phone. Moral of the story is if you want your prescriptions filled in a timely manner don’t use this CVS pharmacy.
I have been on hold for an hour. No one EVER answers the phone! They need a chance of people. This is ridiculous
30 + minutes to pick up a simple prescription. Under staffed.
Over the last month myself and husband have had issue after issue with the Pharmacy. We have given plenty of time for a prescription to be filled and it takes several more hours or even days then what is told to us that it would take to be filled. The staff is unpleasant and dont care if they loss the business. I asked the clerk if she thought it would be best if I pull all of my prescriptions from their branch and was told if you think that is best Not once did she try & keep the business.
If I could post negative stars I would. ABSOLUTELY the worst customer service Ive EVER had. No one in line, three people working behind the counter. Waited almost 10 minutes to have my existence recognized and then it only happened because I said excuse me when the people who had gotten in the pick up line started being helped by someone who walked right by me with no acknowledgement. I was then told I would be helped in a bit even though I had been in line and in the store before anyone else. I l left and will never go to a pharmacy run by Josephine Bawab.
To be fair, theyre pretty much useless. The doctor is a elder white lady who seems to be a bit rude if youre not white. Thats the vibe I got from her. When I say useless, I mean they will pretty much handle anything you can do yourself. Dont come here if you got an issue bigger than a flu shot. They will not be able to provide further treatment then that. The doctor here will pretty much take your money and tell you to visit a hospital or clinic nearby that can prescribe you medicine or go for further treatments.Wasted my time here to get referred to another clinic 15 minutes away, which costed $90 to see a doctor, to prescribe me antibiotics to this pharmacy which was $25. Pretty fishy.
Awful. Absolutely the worst experience in a pharmacy or ANY medical facility EVER!I walked in today at 10:45 for an 11:40 AM minute clinic appointment. I checked in and was seen early. My 7 year old has a bacterial infection that is attacking his face and needed medication. I have BCBS insurance. I have had them for years with NO change in coverage. We pay $500 per month for a family plan that only my son and I are covered. Not complicated. I have a regular med that I take so I KNOW we have prescription coverage.Enter Lindsay and the most unintelligent inexperienced team of “pharmacy techs” that have ever walked the planet.I was in that building from 10:45am-2:15pm!!!!!!!I spent 1.5 HOURS on the phone with my insurance and with Lindsey on the phone with “her costumer service “ and she literally gave up attempting to enter insurance that EXISTS!!! I wish I had the patience to give you the play by play word for word happenings that took place just to get a prescription that is covered through my insurance. I WILL BE CONTACTING CORPORATE.Long story short, after being on the phone with my insurance company for an hour and a half they communicated to me that the medication was approved through Rite Aid 1 mile from CVS for five dollars. I left CVS with NO MEDS, the Techs name and her supervisors name as well.I go to Rite Aid to retrieve the medication but Cvs needed to release the prescription. When Rite Aid tried to call them they put them on hold for an hour. Rite Aid called CVS and back they put them on hold for another hour before releasing my seven-year-old’s prescription!!!!It’s 7pm and I am NOW getting meds after CVS decided to stop acting like words that I can’t say in this post without it being deleted. This is the day before Thanksgiving. CVS associates, may you reap what you sow this Holiday season.I as a consumer, WILL NEVER purchase a SINGLE ITEM from any one of your miserable stores.Last straw.
We go there because of the 24 hr service! But it feels like you have to wait 24 hours to get what you need at night because they only have one person answering the phones, manning the window, taking refills, checking out, and mopping the floor, might as well because theres only one attendant at night! Add one more backup! Poor person can’t even go to the bathroom!
I called several times pharmacy on hold for 20 minutes no answer so I hung u. Called store no answer just rings. Very disappointed
Worst pharmacy staff ever. If you dont like your job do something else. Lazy people just stare at you when trying to get help. I would love to find another pharmacy but they have messed up my insurance so bad that I cant. Been waiting for half an hour trying to drop off a script I am the only guy in line.
Apparently, this CVS doesnt care that there is not anyone at the front of the store at night. As I approached the cash register I noticed the self pay check out and went to that. The cashier acknowledged me with a look and she and another cashier went into the what I assume is an office. In my item was cold medicine and apparently needed a cashier to assist. Noone around. I see bell and ring it. Nothing. I again ring the bell and watch to see if anyone is coming out of the office. Nope. Again, after waiting several minutes I ring the bell yet again. I finally called the store, got one of the two women who disappeared and politely informed them I was at the front of the store and had been waiting about 5 mins. One of the women came out of the office and instead of apologizing, asked if I had rung the bell. yes, about 5 times. She said nothing to meas she entered the required code and walked off. Wow.This person should not be assisting customers. I will go to Walgreens from now on.
My experience the other day was 4 stars. In the past I have had the absolute worst customer service to the point that I called corporate to let them know how awful my many experiences have been. I was so pleased to get the service the other day I should have received every single time I go to this CVS. I was actually acknowledged when I approached the counter (which normally I am not). The cashier Kamesha was very pleasant and the pharmacy intern was the kindest I have dealt with there. Her name is Josie. The other women behind the counter who was very polite was Briana. Those 3 ladies should lead a customer service inservice to their coworkers. This CVS needs more employees like these 3. People just wanted to be acknowledged and treated with respect. Thank you ladies for doing that!!
Well today is Sunday and I was in cvs to get a few items. 1st off would like to say I have never had a bad experience until today when i have encountered Katie she did not speak had her face all turnt up. Ask me was it card or number I said number I than let her know that the Joliet paper wasnt ringing up correct she than got nasty and said I am trying to fix it she than called a store manager walked off saying let her deal with you and also said my son is black not idea why that would come out of her mouth unless she doesnt like blacks but trust me I will not be buying anything from this store ever again I will not spend my money here. I see why they have 2.7 stars
My phone wait time was 1hour and 22 min. I took a screen shoot because this is unreal.I spoke with a clerk (front of the store) she told me she would go back to the pharmacy so they can pick up. That was 22 min and I still didn’t a get anything accomplish. Amazon needs to come soon on prescription!!!!
Bad customer service, all what I can say . We always used CVS pharmacy and had no issues, however this one has a bad customer service. I’m gland we are moving from this area so We can use a different CVS .
Staff are friendly. They try to help you get your medicine quickly. Having a drive thru is really convenient
Well, it’s 11pm on a Tuesday night, my husband is waiting in the car with our 6 year old son who just got out of the CHKD emergency room, he’s in agonizing pain, meanwhile the Pharmacist and her blue haired, rbf assistant bth ignore me waiting at the drop off counter for 20 min. Worst service EVER! I will drive 20 min to a different pharmacy next time. Avoid this CVS at all costs!
Do not go there after hours. I sat in drive thru for 15 minutes no one ever came. This was at 630 am and I even called no one answered. I suggest going somewhere else for 24 hour service
Lazy lazy lazy lying pharmacist at this one. I was forced to drive from here to Suffolk at 330 am christmas morning to pick up my prescription that she told me she wasnt allowed to fill and she said the pharmacist in Suffolk was filling it for me. So when I get to Suffolk CVS a 32 min drive away he says he transferred it to the Chesapeake one I was at.So she lied about everything and is the laziest individual i have ever dealt with and i will never go to this CVS again, i may never go to CVS.
The pharmacy tech was not personable at all. They told me an hour plus for my script to be filled and of course they were out of stock of another one I needed filled. I took a drive to another pharmacy in which I wanted CVS to transfer the script to and they kept the pharmacy that has both scripts in stock on hold for over 30 minutes! It’s really sad this 24 hour pharmacy isn’t much help.
This is the worst CVS I have ever been to. If my insurance did not require me to use this one, I would not. When I was going through cancer surgery they were constantly questioning me loudly in front of the other customers about the medications i was receiving, which was very embarrassing. Yesterday I went to pick up a 90 day supply of a medication and when i got home, realized that they had charged me for 90 days but only gave me enough for 30 days. When i called, they refused to answer their phone. I finally had to get CVS Caremark involved to get this straightened out. The staff here is rude and uncaring, and I believe their carelessness is a threat to public health and safety.
I went to this CVS because it’s close to my house and I just moved here from out of state. They are installing carpet squares in the middle of the day so it’s a cluster in there, for one. The tech yelled at me from 2 counters away that they were really busy, so if I had transfers it was going to be days until they would be able to get to me. I said that was ok because I still had enough meds to make it until then. So she comes around to the counter, starts writing down my info and says that my one med is on backorder with them, and that they are 2 days behind with regular rx’s so she really doesn’t know when I would get any meds back. So I said, “so what you’re telling me is I should find another pharmacy?” She says, “yep!”I’ve been using CVS pharmacies for years but I will now switch- not that they care 😂
Waited over 8 min for someone to pick up the phone in pharmacy. I hung up!
First, When every other customer in the store takes the priority of the pharmacist over the job they alone can do (fill prescriptions), managment needs to reevaluate their business practices. Why should someone getting a greeting card, flowers, or a periodical get more attention than the person whom a doctor has said needs medicine? If youre going to market as a a 24-hour pharmacy, but take 24 hours to fill a prescription, you fail.Second, if youre going to make me sign a receipt for both the prescription and a copy of your privacy policy, provide the policy, too, or at least train your staff on where to find a copy instead of giving a blank stare for 10 seconds, leaving for several minutes, only to return to tell me, You might be able to find it on the internet (well, no kidding).
I enjoy going to this CVS. I have been coming here for over year.Everyone is very friendly.
First time using this CVS location because mine in another city was out of the medication. Will never use this pharmacy again. Very rude and unprofessional pharmacist. I called before I made the trip to this location and was put on hold twice and after eleven minutes it disconnects. Aftet reading the other reviews it appears I am not the only dissatisfied customer. Go somewhere else!
Worst pharmacy ever. Takes forever to refill a prescription
Worst pharmacy in the CVS Chesapeake chain. Slow, discourteous folks I ever had to deal with. I have experienced at least 50% good to bad ratio at this Pharmacy. Im going elswhere where my business is appreciated.
I had no problems. Polite to me.
Dont buy Amazon Gift cards from them. My boyfriend bought one this week and the minute it got activated someone hacked it or it was already hacked or the cashier took the money from I dunno but Im fighting with Amazon now to get our money back.still working on this ordeal. What a process .
Staff is very rude and all look unhappy. Called to get my script refilled and waited 20 + minutes on the phone. Will be switching locations for pharmacy
Very busy 24hr location, store just feels a bit cluttered
Great Customer service
The pharmacy staff is rude. My insurance company requires that I use CVS and it has been a nightmare ever since. ESPECIALLY with this CVS on Kempsville. Unprofessional is an understatement.
Register/front employees are rude and unprofessional. Dont care about customers AT ALL
Bad.. Go to Walmart.. Very friendly
Thanks for being so rude we had a prescription from a doctor the pharmacy refused to fill.So we took it to another pharmacy private owned and they treated us very well so we are switching to them .Believe me I will spread the word
Rude people in the pharmacy.
Worst pharmacy around.
Pharmacy closes at 9 not 10
