I was setup with CARSTAR from my insurance company from an accident. Amazing work and customer service that went beyond my expectations. Every lady that works on the phones for them is kind and receptive to concerns, Ramon was also great at getting back to me in a timely manner. They returned my car to me in a condition I couldnt imagine. On top of the repairs they did a deep clean and wax. I am blown away by how awesome it was to work with this business.

Had gone there since insurance recommended. Only the manager would give you an estimate. My initial visit to get estimate was reasonable. The manager took photos and told me that he will get in touch by Monday. I did not hear back for a week and so I called in. Then I was told that the manager is on vacation and will call me on Tuesday. Nothing. I call back Tuesday evening, and then I am told that I will get a call from the receptionist who can schedule me in for repair and can give me the estimate! I called out this run around behavior and instead of apologizing or trying to make it right the guy pretty much tells me to take my business elsewhere if I am not satisfied. Thank you very much. Wont ever try this place again.

I highly recommend this repair shop!! The team is fantastic and very professional. I was in an accident and had to have a lot of work done to my car, and they did an amazing job. There were a couple concerns I had after I received my car back and they picked up, dropped off my car, fixing all the concerns I had no problem. I was worried theyd brush me off or not take my concerns seriously, but they listened and were just fantastic. Its been hard for me to trust some repair shops after a bad experience I had at an unrelated shop, but I really trust this team. They really took good care of me and my car. I cant thank them enough.

Great service, ordered the part, contacted me to set up an appointment to replace my door handle, had prepared estimate based on picture. Final price was below original estimate as no paint job was required.I will be back!

CARSTAR is right next to my home so I called them when I discovered my back windshield wiper stopped working. They were so nice and told my to bring it by. Turns out it was just loose and needed to be tightened 🤦🏻‍♀️ but they were so kind and tightened it for me for no charge.

My bumper was replaced. When I received it my vehicle it had a long scratch on the new bumper. They fixed my left side view mirror but my right side view mirror a cant pull in.

Did a claim through my insurance because it was a hit and run. They suggested this body shop on grand and kedzie, the front desk lady is nice but the issue I had was they have very very poor communication. They do not call you to let you know when to bring it in, they don’t keep you updated on what they are doing to your car. They didn’t even explain to me how long it was going to take for them to fix it. Their work is really good but if only that reflected on their customer service.

I was more than impressed witht the work of this shop. When my 2008 Honda odyssey was hit it left 3500$ worth of damage on my driver side and when I got my car back it looked bettet than ever. Willy and Ramon are excellent with customers and I cant wait to rebuild an old school car with them in the future. If you have any body work this is the place to go. Thank you Carstar for going the extra mile and making a difference in my vehicle bigger than I would have ever expected.

Unfortunately with having kids that drive, over the years, I’ve had to use various different repair shops. This was honestly the first time it was a pleasant experience. I was out of state when the accident occurred, but Ramon at CarStar International was amazing. They got the car towed to their shop with no problems. Something my insurance company was having trouble doing. And even got the repairs done sooner than I had been told by my adjuster. My beautiful little car is back and looking great! What I most liked was their attention to detail and follow up. I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone.

My car was vandalized and I had to get it fixed as soon as possible. I called on December 9th to get an estimate and was told to bring in my car to have it checked out. Ramon took my claim number over the phone and had all the paperwork ready for me when I got there. As soon as I got there, Ramon was already walking towards my car to see the damage. He gave me a realistic time frame on when my car would be ready and followed up with me. I had my car ready in a little over a week. Great customer service by all. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone that wants quality work.

I brought my car here 2 weeks ago because its un drivable from hit and run.After I received my estimates from them,I brought my car to different body shop for another quotation. We discovered that International Auto Rebuilder didnt check my car for additional damage on my steering system (under carriage ). And they didnt add this damages to the estimates that I received from them. :(

Theyre good but I cant say theyre really good as they put re condition parts in my car instead of new and original without of my concent and even they dont have parking space.

Against my wife’s initial wishes we brought our 2016 Subaru Crosstrek to Ramon and his family’s business CarStar International Auto Rebuilders (CIAR) to hand a fairly major repair. I chose CIAR since they are latterly 3 doors down from us. It was a lazy and easy decision for me to make knowing that since they were under the CarStar umbrella, I would be able to feel comfortable knowing I would have a large company to fall back on.Upon meeting Ramon, I was impressed with his upfront candor about challenges with Subaru and getting parts. I still decided this would be our best bet.Initially the insurance quote came back a little low but Ramon was able to get what they needed to do the job. I believe after all said and done with the add on work this should have been a total from the start but the work was in progress and moving along.Ultimately, the repair took longer than we thought it would but we also wanted this done right. Ramon did exactly what he promised and delivered a car that I believe was actually better than when we bought new off the lot. All kidding aside, this was an amazing experience and I have felt that the workmanship and materials used made me feel safe, secure and most of all happy to be able to enjoy driving my car without feeling it was a few dollars away from a complete loss.If you need to have repairs done, I cannot recommend Ramon and CIAR enough. My wife and I will recommend Ramon to everyone we know.

Worst Experience ever had Worst Customer ServiceI dropped my car on 05/07/18 for Body repair and paint the day I dropped my car receptionist said my manger is in meeting now someone will call you in 1 hour and tell you that how many days it will take to fix the the car NO ONE CALL ME I waited for 2 hours and I called and asked for update and on the phone they said they will be done by Friday ( May 11 ) NO ONE CALL ME again I called for update they said it will be done by Wednesday ( May 16 ) NO ONE CALL ME and update for delay again I called for update they promise me my car will be ready by Friday ( May 18 ) and some will call me on Friday by 10am NO ONE CALL ME I waited and I called at 11am asked for update they said it will done by 03pm and someone will call me by 03pm NO ONE CALL ME I called at 04pm again they promise they will by done by Saturday ( May 19 ) its been almost 2 weeks now for small dent now I don’t know when will I get my carI am really pissed and upset of fake promises from this guys
