I brought my car in for quote and they told me they would email in one day. I told them I wanted to submit the claim to the insurance company before they had my car to avoid having it a the shop for longer than necessary. They agreed and I thought we had a good plan!Deatails:- I brought my car in Mid June and requested estimate- They would provide a proposal in one day- Schedule to drop my car off 7/6- Called the shop on 6/23 requesting the quote they and they said they emailed already (but they didnt)- Called the shop on 6/25 and the said they emailed the quote again (but they didnt)- Sent email on 6/29 and they emailed me the quote and adjustor had sent me. They then told me I had to pay a fee to get quote for the first timeThis shop just wants to get your car in the shop and keep it there as long as possible. They attempted to bait and switch me what disaster. I had brought another car in about 1.5 years ago and they delivered the car late and had to get my backup sensors fixed at the dealership.

My Toyota Rav 4 was involved in a minor Car accident in November, 2020. I had people telling me to take my car to various shops in the area. Ive had a lot of cars work at Dayton Automotive and they have a guy named Glen that works there that is just such a helpful guy in the whole process of getting your car fixed payment and everything done professionally and I just sleep the best body shops there is in the neighborhood thats my opinion

I was in an accident last summer and just let my insurance company decide where to take my truck.I was not familiar with the area so they picked Dayton. I could not believe how good it looked!Staff was nice over the phone and in person. My only concern was that the inside was not cleaned so I had to get it vacuumed and cleaned elsewhereOther than that...great work.

Horrible, said my car would be ready for 6 days. Its been another week and somehow they say one of their workers didnt show up to fix my car and now Im waiting another week to pick up my car. The last thing they needed was to fix alignment, didnt know that takes 4 days.

Well this is my third time dealing with dayton rebuilder and every job they did was done with great persion and great job there are very honest I will always take my cars theres cuz of there talent and there customer serivice which is best again thank u to all dayton great job v

By far the worst body shop and beyond worst service i have EVER encountered. Had sooo many problems with them. Had to make countless calls to my insurance. For starters, they did not blend the color, half of the car is a totally difderent hue. Second, the paint chipped not too long after, seatbelt retraints were loose, alignment was done incorrectly and when I took my car into a different body shop, turns out they used old, used parts. Also, I never recieved my head rest parts (which i was told were coming from China and may take up to 6 weeks). I NEVER WENT BACK OR MADE ANOTHER PHONE CALL. I just rather not deal with thier horrible service. Oh, and the best part.. i waited over a month for my car to be done, was told i would recieve a nice, clean car. When i went to get it. The coffee that i had when I got into my accident.. was splattered all over the car. And it sat like that for a month. They dont deserve even 1 star.

NAsty job, Bad service, parts werent the the right ones. used incorrect bumper and had to call the insuracne so man times. Chaos with this body shop. I wouldnt even give them a star

WORSE CAR REPAIR SHOP IN CHICAGO. car not done in tme ( waited over a month ) was called a "retard" by employees when I asked multiple times for a redone of a service that was done inefficiently ( supposedly their work is garunteed) obvioisly you need to ask and argue for over a week before anything is done. when I made a BBB complaint they responded with obsurd comments, claiming I kicked in my own headlight; it was damaged from my accident and not renewed simply glued together. This fact was proven when a mechanic tapped the headlight and glue residue appeared. I did not kick anything, it sickens me such a company with years of service could treat a customer in such an inhummane way. I am embarassed for this company and for the work they did on my car. Absolutely disgusted.

Extremely disappointed...this is going fo be the third time I am returning my vehicle so that they can fix it right.

Worst place i have even went to if you can avoid this place like the plague. its just problem after problem they took forever to fix my car and i had to call my insurance like a million times and after i got the car back there still were a number of problems. i will never go back to this place again.
