Awesome attention to detail, transparency and customer communication. There were a couple very small things I discovered after the primary work was complete--a scratch in the leather of the drivers seat and an annoying rattle in/near the drivers side rear wheel well--which they took care of immediately. Friendly, knowledgeable, great to work with!

Gold Coast made an otherwise annoying task, completely stress free! They not only fixed my car to look as if it just came off the lot, but also handled the items needed for the insurance so that I just needed to wait for the repairs to be completed. They did a wonderful job of keeping me updated on the status of my vehicle and letting me know of anything further that needed to be done. I love Gold Coast! After making an appointment with Tesla to have my car repaired and getting the run around, I located Gold Coast and called. They got me in the very next day to inspect my car. From there, they worked perfectly with my insurance company and made the repairs. The process was speedy, and efficient. They consistently updated me, really daily, they emailed me with the status of my parts and repair. I felt so connected and in the loop and it is appreciated. I was so happy to have my baby back to normal thanks to Gold Coast!

Got my Jeep serviced with this body shop! My fender came off and scratched the front of my truck. Took a little over a week to complete. Absolutely NO complaints throughout the entire process. They kept me in the loop every step of the way, and changes, updates, estimate, everything! Very professional, and was completed in the timeframe I was told! Expensive, BUT worth every penny had I paid out of pocket. (I went through my insurance, which they took care of as well). Def would recommend to anyone!

I brought my Audi A8 here for collision repairs years ago, and they did such a good job I brought it back for detail/touch-up work recently. They are the only body shop I trust to work on my Audi, and I will bring any vehicle I have that needs body work to Gold Coast without hesitation. The staff is attentive and professional. You are kept informed of the progress throughout the repair process, and the end product is better than new. All-around fantastic experience.

I used Gold Coast for a sizable collision repair in 2020. I would definitely use them again. They were very professional to work with and offered advice in dealing with my insurance company that proved extremely helpful. I was also very pleased with the quality of the work. There was a small interior moulding piece that wasnt quite snapped in correctly so they let me pop in whenever it was convenient for me and fixed it onsite immediately. A big thank you to the whole team I worked with there for making a difficult experience as easy and pleasant as possible.

This shop was one of the first, if not the first, Tesla certified body shop. I had to get both of my passenger doors and rear quarter panel replaced, and it looks like it’s straight off the production line! I had my body work done in the winter of 2018/2019. There was many below zero days that winter, and they reassured me my car would be stored indoors to protect my battery. How thoughtful!!! Despite Tesla’s delay in delivering the parts they needed to finish the work, everyone at Gold Coast Auto Body kept me updated every step of the way. FANTASTIC! I am confident that all Tesla owners will have a first class experience.

Before going to Gold Coast, I visited a few other body shops and finally decided to go with Gold Coast. I had a great experience here, the crew was very professional and kept sending me numerous updates on how everything was progressing. I was most impressed by the customer service that was provided. I have used Gold Coast for two extensive collision repairs for my 2015 Audi A7. Both times they worked seamlessly with my insurance provider and completed the repairs within the approved insurance reimbursement. The repairs done perfectly, with perfect paint match, so that the vehicle looked as good or better than it had before the accident. They also make sure to bring the car to Audi to have the sensors and other electronics reset to factory spec so there will be no surprises. My only minor complaint is that they kept the car for a very long time both times; it seems there isnt much effort to coordinate between different stations or the parts provider to streamline the timing.

Gold Coast Body Shop is a first rate body shop for everyone in the Chicago area. I have used Gold Coast to have my Mercedes and my Dads Mercedes repaired. The Body Shop is well run, efficient, timely and extremely helpful whenever I have had issues. The body work they do is outstanding in every way.

My driver side door swung open too far on a windy day. The door would not close correctly after that. I feared a very expensive and lengthy repair to return it to normal. Gold Coast was able to return it to its normal position within a day at an amazingly low cost to me. They have great experience with Audis. I am a returning customer because in previous visits they have done such great and meticulous work.

In all honesty the reviews scared me a bit. My car was side-swiped and broken into within a week of ownership. I had to go somewhere and the suburbs were too far to drive in winter with a busted out window. I spoke with Tesla and they suggested going to Gold Coast. Im extremely happy I did.Carlos is a special person and if you get the chance to work with him youll be very happy you did. During the whole process he was kind, friendly, and most importantly very communicative. I tend to bombard people with questions and he handled them and my neurotic behavior like a champ. Hes a stand-up guy and takes ownership of issues as they arise. No one will be a bigger advocate for your car than Carlos.The repair work itself was very good as to be expected from a Tesla certified establishment. I went back for a few minor things but it really wasnt a problem at all; more me than the work. We brought our Audi Q5 to Gold Coast to repair some damage from a non moving accident. They were very thorough through every step of the process and worked well with the insurance company. We got our vehicle back in fantastic shape and much quicker than we had anticipated.

Communication was great and getting my car back in a timely manner was fine although I do prefer to take your time and get it done right the first time. Taking the car back for the door they replaced and painted not working properly after being repaired at Gold Coast was an inconvenience, also after going over the paint work with an led light and seeing imperfections was disappointing especially after pointing them out when I brought the vehicle in for the second time. I Still have buffing compound left on the door by the trim and near some body lines.

Living in the city for 30+ years one tends to get fender benders from trucks taxis etc. I have used this company for years. Work is absolutely first class. Always done right the first time regardless of the brand I brought in. And timely. The staff is cordial and professional.

They even recommended a rental car company for me and offered to connect me with them as well as other aftermarket shops who can install a dash cam for me. They always have a solution! Francesca Martino was absolutely wonderful with the initial process of bringing my car in, which consisted of being able to accommodate for me to come in right away, taking a look at the car, and giving me a brief estimate, and explained what the shop could do for me. Her knowledge was impressive. The customer service at this shop is beyond fantastic. I was always given an update as soon as they received one, given quotes extremely fast, and was provided with kind and friendly service where I felt welcome. The quote process was upfront and organized, as I was given an itemized list with quotes and they ordered the needed parts immediately so they could work on it with no delays! The service process was outstanding. Kate Gomez was the best service adviser that I’ve had the pleasure to work with. The advisers at other shops are no where near to even compare to Kate’s work ethic and response time. The shop has the most skilled employees who attended to every detail. The car looks brand new like it was never touched. They did a few aftermarket modification installations, having done a glorious and aesthetic job. An after market part that was damaged in the hit and run accident was no longer being made by the manufacturer, however, Gold Coast Auto Body made it a priority to find me a replacement option that happened to be a much cheaper price than the original piece - and I ended up getting 2 more aftermarket pieces that they installed for me, and the new manufacture was even located in Chicago! They went above and beyond to go the extra mile for me. Very responsive, communicative, and professional. Dominic Martino, one of the owners, is truly a great person and I can trust that the car will be in good hands at his shop. I do not trust any other shop! The car was returned in pristine condition, was washed, cleaned, wind vacuumed. The work done was beautiful and it was clear it was done by highly professional and experienced employees.

I was referred to Gold Coast after i was sideswiped causing significant damage. They did a fantastic job. They are professional, communicate very well, and deal directly with the other persons insurance company. They coordinated the adjustor and payments to the insurance company. They even helped coordinate my rental through Enterprise next door. Its hard to say a car accident is a good experience, but if you have one, Gold Coast is going to do great work and make the absolute best of the situation.

I got into a car accident late on a Saturday evening. The tow company we called (also amazing folks) recommended towing to Gold Coast Auto Body on Goose Island.We got a call from them on Monday. The woman who called was extremely kind, helpful, and understanding. I broke off the passenger side mirror and dented that door. We have a ten-year old car, so we didnt want to spend a fortune. The work was excellent, and at the same time quick and economical. And, in the process, Dominic fixed a little unrelated damage gratis!!

Those guys are great. Very professional, no mistakes, most of time on time, delays can be only bcuz late part order delivery. I started coming there w my Saab 17 y ago, and now I am on second Mercedes. No one likes accidents and things going bad w car in general, but if they do, Gold Coast is a place to be.
