Worst communication I’ve ever had from any auto repair place I’ve gone to and grifted me out of $225 for “diagnostic time” without quoting me a rate or telling me they were doing so. Right before the holiday too. Go somewhere else.

I made a reservation for a uhaul truck online and was given the time and place (here) to pick up my truck. I get a call the next day saying the soonest they could get me a truck was 5pm at a location on the other side of the city. Who can move at 5 pm?! Why did you allow me to make a reservation if you didn’t have a truck?!

They installed a body part on my car and it detached from the car. It never fit properly after they installed it. I should have suspected that it was poorly attached because when I picked up the car there was a bunch of debris in the back of the car where they were working that they didnt bother to clean up. They even left a wrench in the car. Very unprofessional. When I brought the car back they refused to reattach the part that had been improperly installed they said there is nothing they can do. Im sorry I ever took it there. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK. BEWARE.To add insult injury I noticed a very fresh scrape/ding on my car a half hour after I picked it up. They claimed that it wasnt them but it clearly was. When I brought it up they just denied it ....beware of this place.

Fraudsters, dont waste your time.Told me my car was totaled, never gave me or my insurance an actual estimate....... took to another shop and they completed repairs without issue.If that wasnt enough in itself; employees were rude, dishonest, and arguing with customers on the phone. Be grateful for the internet, go to another shop that appreciates their customers and does honest work.If your into insurance fraud and getting scammed, this is the place.

They took care of some fender/bumper damage on my 2014 Ford Fusion as an authorized direct repair facility for Erie Insurance. Excellent experience from start to finish. The estimators are friendly and experienced; they handled everything and did it with class and courtesy. The work turned out beautifully - not a single flaw. They took my car the following Monday after I first came in, and the work was completed on schedule. The owner is right there in the front of the house and hes a great guy.

I visited this place 2 years ago. My cars front lower body was pushed a little bit due to a parking lot accident then cracked one of the water pipe. By that time, My car was overheating. One of the front desk told me that my car is damaged badly and It will cost me more than $5000. we disagreed about the damage. Next morning, I ask my old friend to Check my car, and he told me that there is nothing wrong except the Water pipe. We told the Asia mechanic to replace the pipe but he tried to convince us that the damage is more than that. Finally We decide to leave the place. We bought the pipe for $33 and fixed it on a side road. Two years later my car still running smooth. Thank you my old friend for helping me out that day. I saved $4967. I will never trust any mechanic no more.

Absolutely amazing place. Immediately I was floored by the friendliness of the staff. The owner came in and became best friends with my 2 year old son in the span of minutes. While I gave the gentleman at the desk my details, my son adopted a new grandfather!Aside from the customer service, this place worked quickly and kept me updated on progress and was very up front about all pricing. When I went to go get my car all of the concerns I had were addressed and it was driving like new (well, as new as a 1998 Honda Accord can feel 😆). I was even shocked because the owner gave me a discount at checkout so I paid less than originally quoted, which to me was outstanding customer service and a sure way to get recurring business.Its hard to find a mechanic that you feel you can trust: someone who knows what theyre doing but isnt trying to bilk you for every cent youre worth. This is such a place.

These guys are great. Got a decently bad dent with some creases though body lines on the sheet metal. Thought I was looking at a significant amount of bodywork. For a great price they had the truck looking pristine (couldnt even tell it had been hit) and even washed the whole truck for me. Absolutely great people, great PDR work.

I have taken my Beetle to European & US twice. They have been able to get me in right away both times. The service was good and the problems that I brought in were solved the first time. The prices are much more reasonable than taking the car to the dealership, now that my car is old enough that everything is past warranty. The owner was the one who helped me out the first time I took my car in and he is a hoot.

This is the worst service I have ever come across. A place that doesnt allow for error (miscommunication) and cares nothing for helping families. Warren actually had our car towed to his shop to tell us that he was going to leave it in the street because why should he do us any favors because we missed his calls from a bill ($500) in which we already paid weeks ago. He plays games like a child and the sad thing is he has known my husband for 14 years and knew Im getting ready to deliver our second baby any day now. When we had first called to ask for a tow, he should have let us know then and there that he didnt want to do business with us instead of moving our car so that we have to chase it around to get towed again. He called back and literally said Im leaving your car in the street. How old are we? Its bad enough that we hit a pot hole and were on the side of the street with our family but then when you look to a business to help you out in a time of need and they treat you like they dont even need the work and care nothing about the people in need is beyond disappointing. When we arrive to pick up our car keys to have our car towed again, my husband not only apologizes to him for the miscommunication but also lets him know that as soon as we got the bill, we paid. He rudely told us God bless.... Thank you Warren, we need the blessings but sincere ones. I am sad to see you ruin a relationship and business over missing your phone calls. We are due to have our baby boy in 4 days and Im just glad that there was another business that could help us out in a time when we need it the most. Most people will not admit this but you have sincerely hurt our feelings and made a bad situation harder for us. None of this will matter after today, but I hope this review saves someone the immature and careless run in that we endured.

European & US Car Service gives the best car service in town.Great place and a very friendly staff. I get my cars oil changed here, and they do a wonderful job. Service is very quick.The facilities they provide are Auto body repair & painting, auto collision and dent repair, full service auto center, mechanical repair and many more.

They charged me $300 to repair my car yet as soon as I drove away the check engine light went back on and the car shook very badly. Got it towed back to them and they claimed they could recreate the problem and told me my car was fine. I drove away and AGAIN the check engine light went back on and the car would not accelerate past 35 mph. I was almost stranded at 2 am on the highway in the rain because they told me my car was fine. I called for a refund and to speak to the owner multiple times but no one ever got back to me. Not only did they endanger my life, they stole my iPhone that I was shipping back to ATT from the back seat and rummaged through my other items. This place should be SHUT DOWN.

This place rocks. The owner worked with me and my out of state insurance company after poor Ms. Jetta (thats my car) got side swiped by a lady without a license. Shes now sparkly and scratch-free. It took a bit longer than I would have liked, but Im just happy to have her back, especially with the insurance issue. Hopefully we wont have another accident, but if we did Id come back in a second.

Scumbags - Warren Preis is the definition of a used car salesman, zero integrity to speak of. We had our car brought to his shop after my wife got in an accident - he tried to scam our insurance company and then held our car hostage because they questioned his integrity and wanted a REAL Toyota shop to evaluate the problem. Way to screw over completely innocent people Warren and good work reinforcing stereotypes about repair shop owners.

This place is absolutely amazing! We had a hit and run that damaged our blind spot monitor and rear bumper. We were trying to sell our car and needed the damage to be fixed fast. All other shops told us there is a 2+ week wait to get the car in. When I called, Warren(owner) answered the call and heard my story and told me to bring the car in that day. Jeremy took our car the same day and got all the work done, including additional damage under the bumper and got the car back to us in 4 days. The workmanship is amazing and they even cleaned the car inside out. I would recommend this place for any car related services in the Chicago area. My car would not start, so I tried getting a jump, replacing the battery, and many other things to get my car started, but nothing worked. So I had my car towed here because of the great reviews and close proximity to where my car was broken down. The car was towed at 10:00 AM, but by 3:30 I still hadnt heard from them. So finally I called to get an update and tell them what was wrong with it. The next day, I again waited until 11:30 with no word, so I had to call again to get an update. They could not figure out what was wrong with my car and suggested that I look online at forums for possible causes and fax them over for them to use....... I gave them a lead on what may be causing the problem, but at 5:00 PM they called me for the first time informing me that they will be unable to fix it and that I will need to take it to a dealer...Turns out, it was a bad ignition switch that took the dealer about 30 minutes to figure out. My car spent 3 days in their garage and they couldnt determine this with confidence.Summary - Dont go here!

Scam artists! I used to go here for all my regular maintenance. The first time I went they gave me this whole spiel about how they were a small family business and would never take advantage of me as customer, especially since I was a woman. Great. Thanks. Then I took my car in to check out a strange noise and my broken air conditioner and they tried to charge me a $40 diagnostic fee and a $150 to recharge my broken air conditioner, BEFORE performing a leak test. So I paid the $150 for about $3 worth of freon and still had a broken air conditioner. Just, wow... They also quoted me $500 to replace my sway bar link, which I later got fixed for $130.

Accidents are upsetting and especially when the car is less than 3 years old. European and US did a great job fixing it, used genuine manufacturer parts, worked quickly and the car was returned to me all shiny and amazingly clean! Thank you!!!

A place you never want to go to. But, if youre looking for a body shop, these guys are great!

I went to this car shop based off all the great reviews they received. I called to bring my car in because it was misfiring. It started occasionally (mainly when I was driving, it would happen at 35mph and 55mph) and started getting worse (constantly jerking at stop lights and while I was sitting in traffic), which was my reasoning for bringing the car in. I told the receptionist that it was worse when the air conditioning was on and he replied that that didnt make any sense. I dont know that much about cars, so I didnt think anything of it. The mechanic couldnt find anything wrong with the car and I took it home unfixed. I called back a week later and asked if this was a problem that couldnt be fixed, because it was getting really frustrating to have my car jerking all the time. I talked directly to the mechanic this time and told him the same story I told the receptionist the first time. When I told him how it was worse with the air conditioning on, he threw up his hands in the air and said I didnt know about that! And proceeded to tell me how he would fix it. I was a little disappointed that the history of the car issue didnt get relayed from the receptionist to the mechanic the first time. The mechanic called later that day and told me that he replaced some sort of coil and that should stop the problem. I picked up the car and it worked like new! I was very pleased, until the jerking starting again a few days later. I called them again to set up another appointment. At this time, my brakes also needed fixed in addition to the misfiring. They fixed the brakes (not communicating to me that it would take multiple days to fix), but didnt even address the misfiring (the problem I initially came in for!). I paid my $700 bill and had a car that was still misfiring. A friend of mine had picked up the car, so I didnt get to talk to them that day. I called them and explained how frustrated I was about the misfiring. After talking to 4 different people on the phone and being put on hold, one of their employees told me to buy some sort of fluid I could put in gas tank. I was skeptical. At this point, I was really frustrated with their service (lack of communication between receptionist and mechanic, failure to communicate what they did with my car, failure to explain what was wrong with the car). I took my car to a friend of a friend and after 5 minutes of looking at my car, he explained what the problem was. My car has 6 coils and 3 of the coils were under the intake manifold, making them hard to access (you would have to take out the intake). He said that once one of the coils goes bad, usually the others follow and it is best to replace all the coils. This is considered something that would happen in a regular tune-up. I can only imagine that the reason the U.S./European car service didnt replace all of them is because it is a job to take out the intake manifold. I had all the coils replaced and havent had a problem since. I paid this friend of a friend $600 to have this problem fixed and it was worth every penny to have the problem actually addressed. I have to warn others out there about this business due to my experience. I felt like I was just a number to them and dont feel like I received quality service.
