I went with friends on Sunday before going out to dinner, and I was really impressed and enjoy the idea of wine tasting, conversing, and eating. It was a wonderful offering with a good selection of wines. We had a fantastic vacation and will be back very soon. We appreciated the kind service and the lovely setting!

Cute shop, nice staff. Booze, cheese, Jenis Ice cream, no regrets. Mostly beer and wine with an assortment of some kinda random liquors (although I tried a random and very tasty bourbon there once and will likely roll the dice again some day). Ask for recommendations, they are very helpful people.

Highly suggested for gatherings and colleagues as well as for an exceptional environment. For me, it was a fun experience for the first time. An exceptional place to visit!

Shad and his accomplice are incredibly knowledgeable and immensely helpful when it comes to putting together a charcuterie (including but not limited to: mustards, jams, nuts, olives, peppers, crackers, spreads). They will ask all the right questions to pinpoint what flavor profile youre looking for as well as the overall quantity (eg, how many people are you serving). Augusta also has a fine hand-picked selection of beer, wine, and liquor. Great for gift baskets (which they assemble in house)!

Picnic at home in Winter! Whats not to like about Wine & Cheese and delicious spreads from here?Just completed the amazing experience of ordering from South Africa for delivery in Chicago. Understandably I was worried not knowing anything about Augusta Food and Wine and all communication was via email not to mention the time difference of 8 hours. However, Shad could not have been more helpful if hed tried!Suggestions of wine, cheese and spreads were made (vegetarian recipients) and apparently everything was delicious. Even a handwritten note was included. Just Perfect.

Friendly service & easy small selection of items not to overwhelm. Although, I bought a cheese that the “serve by this date” had lapse at its full retail price. I’m sure the cheese is fine & depends by shop policy but usually these get discounted a bit.Great corner store.

This was not my first time visiting this lovely place. I have the same experience every time I visit! With a bunch of friends, all of whom enjoyed their food, I had a wonderful meal. The workers were very friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed the variety of wines and appreciated the expertise of the staff to help us choose a wine. Ill certainly come back again soon!

Local treasure and I’ve enjoyed every bottle I’ve purchased. They select the wines, great cheese and sweets. I really like neighborhood entrepreneurs especially ones I can walk to and support. Grab a bottle or two and enjoy.

Contacted the store about getting a gift basket delivered to my brother, who lives near Andersonville. The owner got back to me quickly and was very friendly and easy to commicate with. I had a couple accomodations needed for my basket (for allergies, etc). He was very kind in taking care of those. I live in MT, so was worried it would be difficult to get a custom basket ordered for someone in Chicago, but Shad was very communicative and made it super easy. Even hand wrote my note for the basket. All in all, a great experience for a very reasonable price. I would totally shop there again. Thanks!

I have been coming here for a few months now. Their prices are very affordable and way cheaper than any other wine store in the city. I always buy here my fathers favorite, Mussel Bay Sauvignon Blanc. Most of the wine shop was always out of stock, but this shop never runs out of stock and I am glad about that.

The shop provide the different category of wine which one is my favorite is Casanova di Neri Brunello di Montalcino Effusive aromas and flavors of raspberry, cherry, floral, mineral and tobacco are at the center of this linear, vibrant red. That really tastes good. This wine shop is my favorite place in this area.

This is one of our favorite places lately. My wife and I love the hand-selected varieties of wines and cheeses. It’s been an especially nice place to escape this obnoxious February. You can take a trip to Sicily or Croatia without leaving Lincoln Square.

One of two spots (L&M Fine Foods) in the surrounding area that can really say they sell organic or natural wine. On top of that, its a one-stop shop for delicious, cheap never-better baguettes from La Boulangerie.Treated myself one time on cold night to a bottle of wine, not being a serious wine drinker or connoisseur, and became really invested in the occasional table wines theyd put out from France, Croatia, Greece and Italy.

This is the second time Ive been here and its fantastic. Fairly inexpensive for. Very good wine. I havent bought any of the food yet, but the staff is very friendly. Maggie was very sweet and helpful both times.

My girlfriend and I stopped into Augusta Food and Wine this evening to grab a quick bottle of wine and what a pleasant surprise. We hadn’t previously been in but it definitely surpassed our expectations. We will be making more regular visits after tonight. The shop in general is quaint and charming with warm staff who are willing to answer any questions. The selection of wines is a unique blend of international and domestic at varying prices. We also enjoyed the informative notes to give us a taste of the wines without actually tasting. In addition, the store is stocked with a wonderful selection of specialty groceries to top off anyone’s evening. Hopefully we will have an opportunity to try some of the specialty cheeses offered soon. They looked delicious. Overall, this place is a sweet stop anytime and I would recommend a visit. Plus, its located right across from the Western Brown Line station.

Owner (Shad) was very helpful/knowledgeable. Had me sample some cheese before purchasing and explained the milk used to make it. Didnt get any wine but they have a decent selection. Will come back for another visit.

My experience with Agusta Food and wine is always good. They carry very eclectic food items which is great. Also they have the best baked bread. Its a hidden gem inside my neighborhood of Lincoln Square. I havent tried the wine collection but looking forward to it!

This place is fantastic! Awesome and various wine selection with a wide range of prices -- its great for a everyday $10-12 wine to a special occasion $30+. They also have a great cheese selection and you always get to taste before you buy. The Thursday wine tasting rocked -- nice pours of great wine.

This little shop right outside of the Western Brown Line stop is a perfect spot to grab a reasonably priced bottle of wine on your way home from work. Tracy does a great job of bringing in tasty wines from different regions so you can try something new. She also keeps track of your purchases so you can always ask her about your previous selections.

The owner worked with me to customize a gift basket for delivery, and he instantly understood what I wanted and put together a perfect selection of new and old favorites, both food and beverage. I will use him every chance I get, and plan to visit his shop next time I’m in Chicago. Shad is a great guy, knows his food and wine, and went the extra mile (yes, I’m talking about the Peeps - not in his usual inventory) to deliver a fun and memorable Easter basket. No need to settle for an unimpressive pre-packaged gift basket when you have this great option. Shad - I think my son is planning to visit you soon, for a refill on pretty much everything you put in the basket, most especially that craft beer you recommended and the reggiano (and the prosciutto, and the rose’).
