Really dope place. The service was great and my coffee was brewed fresh. The outdoor patio space was well lit and clean. It wasn’t too noisy and I was able to find great seating to meet with my team. I also love how the local artwork accent the space. It’s a warm and lovely cafe.

Sip and Savor is a fantastic neighborhood cafe. My favorite are the lattes and cinnamon rolls. There is indoor and outdoor dining. So far, it has not been too crowded. The baristas are very knowledgeable and take instruction willingly. Neighborhood gem.

Ive been coming to the 43rd Street location for quite a few years (there are a few locations on the South side and the suburbs), whenever I want to grab a refreshing tea or a quick, light bite to eat. The coffees and teas are made just right (my favorite is the Honey Ginsing). They serve a variety of alternative creams for every taste palette and those who are health conscious.The cafes ambience is pleasing, the artwork is nice and the music is perfect. Whether youre meeting with friends, business associates, or just spending some quiet time alone, youll have a good experience.

I love the vibe that this establishment provides. I went looking to find a black owned coffee shop and found a community instead. I love love love Sip & Savor and highly recommend frequenting this coffee shop.

Delicious food and bev, with excellent customer service in a nice space! Came here with a friend today and had an iced mocha with oat milk and an egg sandwich with cheese on a croissant. Delicious sandwich and just the right size. I think all breakfast sandwiches should be made in croissants! And the mocha tasted very chocolatey smooth and yummy. Definitely want to point out that the gentleman working behind the counter (Saturday afternoon) was delightful, as well. Very kind and personable. For all of these reasons, Ill be excited to come back to this spot!

My wife and I live in Colombia, where coffee is king, but we are travelers. We have been in Bronzeville section of Chicago for one month and found Sip and Savor on 43rd. The coffee is so superb that we have not missed a single day at this terrific coffee shop. The service is great, the customers working on their laptops while enjoying a coffee are extremely nice. There is a friendly vibe here that is not often found. That vibe is warm and welcoming. The art on the walls is unique and thought provoking. Everyone is greeted as they come through the door in a cheerful manner. But perhaps the best of all are the lovely and talented baristas! Jazzmine, Venus and Eberae are all delightful, superb baristas. The drink you request is exactly what you receive and with a smile. If you’re a fan of coffee, Sip and Savor is not to be missed! Thank you, Trez (the owner) for giving us a taste of our Colombian home during our travels!

I am so happy to be able to sit in Sip & Savor. This is my third visit in the past week. I do not live any where near the 47th St or the 43rd St locations. This means I purposefully plan to visit each time Im in the area. I love the ambiance of each location. I have to try the Hyde Park location next. My loyalty to Starbucks is now broken. I wish there was a location in West Pullman!! The staff at both locations were friendly.

This place has an amazing vibe and even better coffee. Choose from traditional coffee, lattes, frappes, and smoothies!! My favorite drink so far is the Moca Bama. Who knew pineapple would work so well with coffee!!

Good to see a black owned business in the community but customer service was poor. It was my first and last visit. No greeting and no recognition of me being the first time there (maybe she didn’t hear me)🤷🏽‍♀️ when it’s busy there is nothing wrong with being kind, still.

I’m not even a big coffee drinker and I can’t get enough of the coffee. The breakfast sandwiches are really good as well. Just moved back to Chicago and discovered this place which is now going to be our regular spot.

This has become one of my favorite places to frequent. The teas are so good, but my favorite aspect is the personalized attention the barristas give each customer. They know my name and just the way I like my drinks. I cannot wait to be able to sit in again, but until then I will grab and go!

My fiance and I came to Chicago to visit his family, after having Starbucks three days in a row. I looked at my fiance and told him yall have to have a real coffee spot here.🤣 So I took to google and found sip & Savor, I know I wont be able to visit my regular coffee spot in Iowa without telling them about this AMAZING coffee shop I found. My fiance grew up in this area and didnt even know about it till today. I will be talking about this experience for a long time. Oh and the lady was so nice, I love love love this place.

Visited Sip & Savor for the first time yesterday and upon entering the establishment was first impressed with the beautiful decor and friendly atmosphere. I ordered the banana cake and red velvet cake and all I can say is WOW! Scrumptious and delicious!!!!

Great location and vibe. I had the iced honey mocha and it was so tasty. The seating was kind of close together considering COVID and all but overall it was a great experience.

I LOVE THIS COFFEE SHOP...it feels like home as soon as you step foot inside the place. The atmosphere is wonderful & cozy..the staff knows your order as soon as you step up to the counter. I always order the large Mocha Frappuccino which is made to perfection. The prices are reasonable and it is located in the heart of the historical Bronzeville neighborhood. It is also black owned for which I love to support. Parking was horrible everywhere and ended up here by accident. Staff was friendly. The artsy feeling inside was pleasant, and my honey vanilla latte w almond milk was delicious! Visiting from California and honestly, supporting local businesses is my thing so, if I return to Chicago, I’ll stop by! The barrista guided me to a local calm beach and was very helpful! Pretty setup inside and outside. Great service. I was here for a private party so i dk about the quality of the coffee.

Closed 15 minutes earlier than usual. Husband said that the barista said were preparing for an event I just think that was just a little bit unprofessional of them. I really like supporting black owned its, just certain things you deal with when you support black owned companies and you shouldnt have to.

The banana caramel latte is everything. The taste is so smooth. I wish they had a location in the south suburbs. I can only get it on the weekends.

Finally got a chance to visit. I attended a nice birthday party and even ran into the owner Trez who such a pleasant positive brother. Always a pleasure! I hope to return during normal business hours to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. I always met a gentleman who works at the location who was very pleasant. Cool dude!

The best coffee we had on our trip to Chicago. They had great sweets available different and fresh each morning. The turkey breakfast sandwich was made with real meat 😍 not over processed meat product. The bagels were fresh and soft and delicious. the decor was trendy and interesting to look at creating a peaceful atmosphere. Overall Im going every chance Im granted 🙌

Its a rather decent place

Saw a few great reviews and a FB friend tagged Sip & Savor on a post. So that was the draw and the fact this is a black owned establishment. And it was everything and more. I had a great cup of tea, my girlfriends had coffee and a muffin. Love the seating, decor and welcoming service. I will be back.

Such an amazing place to be and that’s before you get your coffee. After that you are hooked for life. Whether you’re on the go or lounging with friends it’s a great place to be when enjoying the south side of Chicago. I’m grateful to live in a community that is consistently giving back and adding gems.

You have to watch these people and their various habits, while collecting my food items, why the lady was ringing me out at the cash register she began to play with her face oh, I dont know rubbing her eyes or her face for some odd reason, I requested that she wash your hands!?I guess she figured that it wasnt that important so I requested my refund!? Ive been here several times, and this happens to be the second time that the Personnel behind the counter wanted to gather food items without washing their hands!?

Favorite coffee house!

Each year, I attempt to travel to local eateries and coffee shops. Few are as nicely conceived as Sip & Savor. Each time I arrive, its clear that this shop is connected to the neighborhood. The conversations are deep and current with others in the shop. The art of the local community is proudly displayed on walls for purchase. Clean, professional and simply heart-warming, this is probably my favorite coffee in Chicago.

My daughter and I started going here a few weeks ago. We were always customers at 43d and 47 but never here in Hyde Park. Now, we can.t stop coming here. Its wonderful, comfortable and great.

I truly enjoy going to all of the Sip and Savors as much as I can. Pretty much most Saturdays before I go tutor my student, I get my usual and a treat for my student. S and S is like Cheers but better-everyone looks out for one another, including Trez!!!! THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

It is a very nice place. My sister and I went there because someone told her the place was a nice new black owned coffee shop so we went to check it out. Had a nice time talking. We could hear each other talk because the music was just right. The very nice lady who made our coffee was pleasent and was busy not letting a line form. She was great.The only downside for me is the step. I am an older woman and I use a cane, sometimes a walker, so handicapped people dont forget the step but once you are inside Sip&Savor Chicago, you will enjoy. I will be going back it is truly a nice place.

Me and my sister recently came to Sip and Savor for breakfast and the experience was very pleasant. I really dont like coffee or breakfast sandwiches, but me and my sister thoroughly enjoyed both here. Also the ambiance is really great especially if your looking for a calm, professional,and afrocentric environment.
