I took my 21 year old Ford Ranger here after my father recommended them. After waiting a week for an appointment (COVID SUCKS) they fixed it in about 24 hours and it’s like new now. I can’t speak highly enough about the service and quality of the work. I usually fix my own car problems but at times it’s just too complicated for someone without all the tools for more advanced repairs. It wasn’t cheap but you get what you pay for and in my case I paid more to get all the work done. Doug and Nathan were first class and deserve the great reviews they receive. I took my car in to be diagnosed, major things wrong, which I already knew from other mechanics. I have scheduled to come back and get them repaired. He was very polite, professional, accommodating, he promised to take me to the airport to get a rental car. I’ll let you know how the repairs go, looks promising. He said I will be surprised how well it drives. I’m excited!

Called several places in town and was told that they didn’t have any availability for about 3-4 days. Called Gateway and they kind of said the same thing but offered to try and get to at least the diagnostic testing by the end of today. They were able to not only get to the diagnostic testing but also fix what was wrong. The testing was cheaper than any other place I had called too. And while the repair wasn’t cheap it was still affordable and I have my car back the same day I took it in. The customer service that Nathan provided was outstanding and I will be returning to this shop when I need repairs in the future! Great job Gateway.

Excellent service. The mechanics did a great job diagnosing and working on my truck. I worked with Nathan and he was knowledgeable and provided great customer service.

I needed a full engine replacement on my 2017 Dodge Promaster Van and there were only a hand full of Auto repair ships willing to take on that job or who was qualified to do it in the first place. Out of the ones I called Gateway was by far the most prompt and demonstrated they knew exact their trade well. Nathan who runs the shop called me back within an hour of my original request with a complete quote. He explained all the systems effected by the change out, A/C, Heater etc. to replace and had a competitive breakdown of all the costs and a time frame for the order and replacement of my engine. Nathan checked every box I needed to make my 10k decision to move forward with Gateway and now that it is all said and done I made the right decision going with them an could not be more happy with the outcome and service I received. Not sure what you need them for hopefully its not a new engine but whatever it is I highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs auto repair or service.

Gateway has done an exceptional job on both of vehicles, both brake replacements. They are reasonably priced, professional and trustworthy.

Alternator and battery failed. Both were replaced along with the serpentine belt. Work was done within the time promised. Only complaint is that it was a bit more expensive than I would have liked. Other than that, a job well done.

Called to see if they could install a brake controller for my truck, spoke with Nathan. They were able to take me in right away. He called 2 hours later to let me know it was done. They charged me less than the estimate since it took less time than they thought. Very professional, timely and honest, would highly recommend.

Gateway was able take my car immediately, diagnose the issues and make the necessary repairs. They were within their estimate, were complete, and had my car repaired sooner than I expected. They tell lies and take advantage of elderly women I would not trust them to work on my vehicle. I recommend that if you are a female not to go there they will take advantage of you. They worked on my mothers car and when she picked it up the transmission didnt shift right and that was the reason she took it there in the first place. Plus they did unnecessary work as far as Im concerned.

I cant thank the crew at gateway Automotive repair enough! They fixed my truck that broke down from one day to the next. The truck was leaking clutch fluid everywhere and would not go in to gear. They took in my truck and preform quick service for the work that was required. My favorite independent shop. Credibility and service way above dealers trying to make sure their service department is making a profit. They dont repair what doesnt need fixing, and stand behind their work even if the warranty expired a couple of months ago. The guys work with you to get the job done right and on time and on budget. Great service and prompt communication. Took my 2011 Nissan Altima in for AC compressor. Already had a quote from one shop for $700 and dealership for $1200. They came in closer to the low quote. Nathan was detailed about their diagnostics and explained what extra steps they took to make sure they could resolve the issue in one shot. We had axial work done on my wives Lexus RX and after the repair at a differnt shop, she told me the car was not tracking. We called American Tire to have the wheel alignment check. American Tire recommended Gateway Automotive for alignment check and repair. They were able to fit us in their busy schedule on the same day. Gateway Automotive has Lexus certified technical mechanics that found a overlooked bolt was not tight and completed all four tire alignments with in five hours. My wife said the car strears and rides just like new. This specific car alignment problem would caused increased tire wear and unstable road driving. Thanks to the expertise of Gateway Automotive my wife feels her car is safe again. It cost just $75, Gayeway Automotives standard alignment charge.Many thanks, I may have just found a new auto repair shop.
