From start to finish excellent service! It was the most enjoyable experience I have ever had purchasing eye glasses. The assistant (wish I knew her name) was personable and efficient. The doctor was thorough and professional. Jami took care of us in the end. She has got to be one of the best customer service representatives I have ever encountered. I will NEVER go to ABBA eye care again! Its Vision Works from this day forward. Great place! Would recommend this place to everyone. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

The staff here was kind, honest, and helpful. Andrea helped my daughter feel good about her glasses and helped me figure out the best deal to get her the right pair. As long as these folks work here, Ill never go anywhere else for vision care.

Wow! What a great experience with them today! Went there because they are a premier provider for my VSP coverage. Andrea, Jami, Dr. Barton and the sweet funny gal who did my pre-exam (wish I could remember her name)... they were ALL professional, very friendly, extremely helpful with everything! Made us feel welcome & comfortable, as well as feeling confident they new their stuff! My husband & I walked out feeling like I was well taken care of! Also because of my insurance & their knowledge, the price was close to what I would have paid on-line, but I got their care & expertise!!I highly recommend this place to everyone!

I loved going here! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming! Larry was patient and thorough in explaining different options for lenses so I could choose what would be best for me. Dr. Gold explained details about my eyes in an understandable and respectful way. The office manager (Andrea?) went out of her way to make sure my insurance coverage was in place. This was the best eye exam experience I have ever had. Thank you, Visionworks!

I had an excellent visit at Visionworks ( per usual). The way everything was set up for social distancing and the check-in process was just great.I did want to point out the great and attentive help I received from Amanda.She was fun, courteous and very understanding!Shes a keeper!

The dr was very knowledgeable and explained everything we did. Everyone else was very welcoming and helped me pick out a great pair of glasses. Probably the best eye exam experience Ive had!

Every encounter with each rep in person and on the phone was great. COVID precautions, customer service and knowledge was excellent. I really liked how my doctor and pre exam rep explained processes and answered all my questions. Everyone was friendly. If i could give more stars, i would. I really loved how the whole staff was helping me with frame recommendations, this location had a great vibe.

I was pleasantly surprised with my whole experience at this Visionworks location from the time I scheduled the same day appointment to leaving the store. They were extremely on top of the Covid precautions. Dr. Barton was so nice and very thorough with the exam. She explained everything that the eye tests showed and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. The staff there are all so nice! Andreas fantastic! Personable, has a great personality- had me laughing!- but at the same time shes professional and very quickly helped with my eyeglass purchase. I enjoyed visiting this location and very much recommend Dr. Barton and the staff there!

I hardly ever leave reviews, however this experience deserved one! Two words: Beyond happy. The staff was incredible. The optometrist Dr. Kate Barton was knowledgable and educating which made me feel confident in her abilities!! She answered all of my questions without hesitation. The ladies in the front of the house were equally as pleasant and accommodating! Jazzy assisted me! She educated me on my payment options, reviewed the most cost effective option and kept me laughing all while reviewing! Products are great and all but the people are the ones who make the experience, and these people are definitely worth coming back too!Thank you ladies again for all your help! :)

Great staff! The doctor is very attentive and really took my needs into consideration. The associates were so helpful while I was picking out glasses and explaining how my new insurance worked and its coverages. Making appointments for my kiddos and will be back again!

The COVID precautions here made me feel safe. The people were friendly and helpful. My eye exam was thorough and reasonably priced. It was easy to pick up the contacts I ordered.

My husband and I came in as new customers, we had an eye exam and also got new glasses! The whole experience was great and relaxing! We will definitely be back!

Two days before my birthday, my glasses snapped.I was overdue for an eye exam and a new pair so I called the new location. I was able to get in first thing the next morning and the receptionist was kind enough to glue my broken frame together! My doctor was super polite and joked with me about my poor luck. Eye exam went smoothly and I proceeded to check out some cool frames. Larry looked at my selection and very politely said one pair wasnt the pair for me. I agreed, they were too small and round for my face. He said he couldnt let someone walk out with a pair that didnt fit them and I couldnt be more grateful!Less than a week later, my first pair was in! I was ecstatic! The following Monday, my second pair was in! As I walked in, the GM was on her way out for the day, but she stopped to make sure I got my new pair and handed them to me herself!Overall, I had an amazing experience here. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and important! If you read through this whole review, please take the time and give Visionworks on Cheyenne Mountain a shot! They wont disappoint!

My eye exam was wonderful, easy and I felt safe with their COVID precautions. I picked a pair of glasses and was given a ready date of July 17,2020. To my surprise I received a text on July 8th,2020 that my glasses were ready. I called to schedule a pick up time and was told they offer curbside pick up in order to prevent having to have my temp checked etc. Sounds amazing, I decided to opt for that. When I pulled into the front of the store I called and told them my name and what vehicle I was driving. I was asked to give them a few minutes and someone would run my glasses out to me. Perfect. I waited a total of 20 minutes, just to get out of my vehicle and go into the store. I was greeted by Larry, and had let him know I was there for curbside pick up, and in the background Andrea asked someone (I forgot the name) “did you not run her glasses out? The women proceeded to say “I didn’t hear you”. Not only am I livid that I had waited for that time, it made me question why they even offer curbside if they just forget that someone is waiting in their vehicle for the item they purchased. Had I known I would have just came in the second I arrived. I probably will not be back to this location. Sorry not sorry, please do better at customer service.

We really enjoyed the eyeglass buying experience here. We were treated so very well. All of our questions were answered and we ended up with eye exams and glasses for both of us. They helped us pick out frames and lens to fit our needs. Thanks so very much for your kindness and the laughter we shared! You were all so awesome!!!!!

I want to thank Andrea for going above and beyond with my insurance issue and spending so much time on the phone, much appreciated. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this place a 12! Pat and Andrea helped me pick out 2 pairs of glasses, (that I wouldn’t have noticed otherwise) but I absolutely fell in love with them! They seriously have a gift for picking out the perfect glasses for each person. Ive already told my co-workers that they should visit Visionworks because these folks gave me such an awesome experience! I cannot say enough good things about this place.

My daughter and I had our first appointments at Visionworks today. Let me start by saying I was less than excited and had very low expectations based on past terrible experiences with eye doctor offices in Colorado Springs. Visionworks exceeded my expectations, I was very satisfied with the whole process. Scheduling appointments was a breeze, they sent text reminders of the appointments, and check in was speedy. All the staff was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. In light of the current COVID situation-they followed the guidelines set forth and took great care in sanitizing after each patient. If you are tired of the sub-par offices in Colorado Springs-this is your place! Finally a office that does things right from every aspect.

I came to this location because it was closer, but will not be back to much paper work. Will go to the other location up north staff is much nicer. Front desk not to nice.

Buyer beware, they will inflate the cost of your glasses with options and provide no refunds if the glasses dont work for you.My experience, progressive lenses were recommended by the doctor and staff. They werent centered and caused headaches and neck pain since I had to turn my head so drastically to be able to read my multiple computer screens at work (yes they knew this during my appointment, yet they still recommended this upgrade), they re-made the lenses twice and they still didnt work for me. They finally switched to the regular lenses but refused to refund the additional cost I paid for the progressive lens.I wont be going back here for glasses in the future. I would recommend not allowing them to inflate your initial build on the glasses as if there are problems, you wont get any money back. What a shame since between my insurance and myself two pairs of glasses were almost $1800.

The contact lens exam took 30 minutes and was quick, thorough, and professional.While the doctor on staff is very good and I would certainly come back to see her again, there were problems with the billing system which kept me there for an hour. I was finally sent home after an hour with some cookies (which were delicious!) for the long wait. Ill definitely be back.

Vision works reviewsBUYER BEWARE.Do not use Vision works on Cheyenne Rd. On January 21st of this year I used Vision works for my annual vision test. The eye appointment itself was fine. The Doc there is good and easy to talk to. The rest of the staff is no better than used cars salesmen. Andrea is the store manager and Larry was the sales guy.After the eye appointment I selected a nice pair of ray bans. I purchased the high option for my vision insurance for the specific reason of not having to come out of pocket very much. Buying glasses from this place is like buying a used car. Once I made my selection they sat me down at a desk and turned over their computer to show me all of my options. I already knew I wanted the transition lenses and then for another $20.00 I can get the glare reduction lenses. This was the cheapest of three options for glare reduction. The doctor and staff all recommended progressive lenses and of course there is a base option and an option where the “reading view” (lower half of the lenses) is wider. Recommended, but not necessary. This option was an addition $90.00. More and more options at more and more cost (a lot like car salesmen). I asked Larry about the possibility of making new lenses with the new prescriptions into my existing glasses, to be used as a back up. His reply was sure we can do that, and then never brought the topic up again. Their offer was the second sets of glasses were 50% off. So with my purchase complete I set the order and was told the glasses would be ready in one to two weeks.On the 29th I went to get my new glasses. One second after I put them on they were the worst things I’d had on. On either side of the aforementioned reading line everything was blurry. I couldnt see anything clearly using my peripheral vision. Andrea tells me this is normal and that I would get use to it. My response to her was that was about the dumbest thing I’d heard all week. I came to get glasses so my blurry vision would be clear, not blurrier. I asked her about the second set of glasses I spoke with Larry about and she replied that offer is only available on the day of purchase and a new set of lenses was going to be $268.00 dollars.She goes on to tell me that Larry is usually such a good guy and she never offers the regular progressive reading area because the wider one works much better. I told her I was not happy with the purchase and if needed I’d take a refund on my money and contact the insurance company and let them know not to pay for the existing bill. I’ll mention that the total bill was $685.00.Andrea said she was going to talk to Larry that afternoon and she or him would get back to me. It is now the 31st and I have not heard a word from either party.I’m in the process of contacting my insurance company to have this complaint investigated as fraudulent activity.Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

Walked in and was able to do exam and walk out in my trial contacts. Larry and Andrea were wonderful and very helpful in picking out frames for my glasses.

Came in within the last hour of the day, we were greeted right away and the stuff was very friendly, knowledgable and made our experience awesome.
