From beginning to end I felt so welcome here! I was looking for a place that could help me find glasses that actually look good on me, and this is the place! Dr. Perry explained everything more thoroughly than anyone ever has - I have had eye problems my entire life so this is really saying something! Tiana and Daria helped me find the perfect frames for me, and I am so excited to get them soon. I highly, highly recommend Archdale!

Dr. Bisbee and staff are super nice and super sweet and willing to accommodate you in any way they can. My only complaint is that the facility does not carry budget frames, only brand names. That never sits well for me, but I know what to do next time. Yes, I would recommend this place.

Dr. Archdale is both a kind and caring individual AND a knowledgable, competent, skilled doctor -- a rare find in the medical community. He uses the latest equipment to not only evaluate your vision, but he also takes into account the physical well-being of the whole person. I always leave his office feeling confident that my vision has been thoroughly evaluated and corrected with excellence, and if there were other concerns, they had been addressed to the full. He is patient to explain everything and answer all questions. Yesterday, Louisa did all of my pre-screening. She was super sweet, efficient, and did her job with excellence. Because of the care for their patients, an annual check-up at this office will likely take close to 90 minutes (for both a vision check and a contact lens evaluation). Relax and enjoy being cared for. :)

I had a great experience with the Archdale team. I had something in my eye that I had to be seen on short notice. They were very accommodating and got me in the next day. Dr. Perri was pleasant and gentle in removing the foreign object which brought me great relief. Ive since had a complete eye exam which I felt was very thorough with all of the necessary exams; best of all no puff of air in the eye!! I ordered prescription reading glasses (they were not at all pushy about trying to get me to buy anything which has not always been the case for me in the past at other eyecare offices) and they were ready in about a week and half. I would highly recommend Archdale.

I love both doctors and the people that actually help you with your eyes. The people who help with getting glasses and contacts are great too. They were all wonderful and did a great job! Had a young lady at the front desk very friendly as well. The other one behind the front counter was very short and rude. She was on a phone call when I first arrived and was rolling her eyes and reacting badly to the person on the phone. Hope they arent acting like that when I call. Made me miss Dr Harrisons front desk staff. They were always friendly. If you get past the front desk without having to deal with the one lady I highly recommend all the other staff I have come in contact with.

My recent visit to Archdale was outstanding; the front desk was welcoming and professional, the tech that performed the initial tests knew his stuff, was efficient, and friendly.I was seen by Dr. Ruxton while I was there and, much like the staff, she is very knowledgeable, professional, confident, and friendly.I tried Archdale on a whim, and Im very glad I did. I will be returning to look at frames and order glasses (time was against me on my first visit) and will update this review if/as warranted.

First visit after giving in and not driving to Denver to my old doc (who was awesome). Overall good experience, things were clean, masks were worn, the room technology was updated. The end of my visit was wierd, no one seemed to be available to take me from my room to close out my visit with payment and order contacts, just felt awkward and like I was inconvenient. Not a deal breaker but would like the end of the visit to run as smoothly as everything else did.

Got in quickly, updated my information n my site, performed a few eye tests, met with the Doctor who looked into my eye, discussed next steps, and left the clinic. Very positive experience.

I have a very large social media presence so I am always cautious about leaving a bad review. I have to feel very strongly to do so. And in this case, I do. I went into a hot office for a very long wait. The doctor offered me a sample of a new kind of contact she suggested before I ordered my normal brand. BUT it was going to take a month just to get a sample. i said okay but after getting home was like -- I just need to order. I called back and said please just let me stay in the same contact Im in. Just give me my new prescription. They said no. I had to come in for a NEW fitting. I asked them -- what was the hour and a half I was there for suffering in the heat of the office, and during this pandemic for? I reminded them that they actually did my exam in the same lenses. They had my current lense on hand, but insisted my prescription was held captive and I could not get in for a week for this new fitting. I then told them I had an eye infection, could I at least go ahead and see someone just for that -- as a separate problem? No. No one can help me. They wee too busy. They didnt even offer to talk to the doctor or make a suggestion about the infection. I finally got them to say theyd give me my prescription if they had my old official prescription from the past doctor. Im not sure why that was needed since my exam was done in my current contacts, but I agreed. I had the doctor fax the old prescription on his letterhead but....you guessed it. They still wouldnt release my prescription. What happened to safety, I asked? Why would you need me to come in again, to try on this lense? I asked.They said because they didnt want me to waste my money if I didnt like the new prescription. I told them Id take that risk and even sign a form. Ive worn these contacts ten years. Im going to be fine. They still refused. I asked to talk to the doctor who owns the office. I was told that hes not in and you can just call back..Ive never had such an issue in decades of wearing contacts. Ive never had my prescription held hostage for a second fitting. I asked if they were billing my insurance for this new fitting. They said they already had. This was confusing. They already billed for it?They had no concern for safety AT ALL as clearly avoiding extra visits that are completely unnecessary would be frowned on right now. There is a pandemic. Thats why we all wore masked in their hot office. They also didnt care about my infected eye but they were obsessed with a new fitting. I am still baffled. What did they achieve by treating me this way? And what is the obsession with this other fitting? I wondered if they really told the doctor I wanted to do as she said I could, and stay in the contacts she did my exam with. I wondered a lot of things. None of them good.

This was my third visit and first full eye exam and glasses purchase. As before everything was very professional, with the most up to date technology and everyone was great. Great choice.

Took my high school kid there for the first time after a horrible experience elsewhere. This place is WONDERFUL! Office is very nice. Staff is friendly and patient - lets say some of the machines are hard for my teen to not blink! We were seen within a couple minutes of going into the exam room. Dr Bisbee was friendly and quick to discover an adjustment was needed in the prescription. I was very impressed that as the appointment was ending, the Optical technician was entering the room to escort us to the optical eyewear section. Wow! Thats service. Last place we had to go out to the main room and get in line with anyone else coming off the street, with our longest wait time 40 mins! The Optical technician was quick at picking out new glasses, which normally can take my teen WAY too long to do himself. Wonderful first time experience. We will be returning!

I’ve been an Archdale Client for a looooong time. Today was a good experience as always even though the wait was long. I guess they were having technical challenges with equipment which no one can help. I feel like I get a thorough exam and good recommendations. I ordered glasses and replacement lenses which was a pretty good chunk of change even with my insurance.

Kheyanna helped me find a really good looking frame, that actually fit my wide head, explained all the different lens options and benefits they have like the blue light protection. She had even got me all of that under my budget! I will definitely be going back every time I need glasses and an exam! Highly recommend!

The doctors are ok but the office management is awful. They are rude and do t care about the patients. I’ve been waiting over a month for contacts to arrive. I’m pretty sure they weren’t ordered when they should have been. The office staff doesn’t care though. I would highly recommend finding another optometrist.

Everyone is nice, process is easy, I just wish they would have consistent doctors. I appreciate seeing the same doctor indefinitely, and I think I have had a different one each time I go.

Had a great experience. Staff was courteous and helpful. My appointment for an eye exam was expertly thorough and went quickly. The doctor answered all my questions. When I asked about eye surgery, he gave me the pros and cons, honestly and without hesitation, allowing me to make an informed decision to not do it. They offered to provide me new glasses, but didnt pressure me whatsoever when I declined. I wish more medical visits were like this. I left with the firm decision to go through them the next time I need eyecare.

My experience was Awesome. They waited for me to arrive as I was running late. They got me in as soon as I walked in the door. Everyone was very nice and professional and explained what they were doing and how they were going to do things. Just an awesome experience all around.

They have you wait for a long time and give you no explanation. The staff seemed new and needed training (which is fine) but there was no one training them. They are rude and seem to have a chip on their shoulders. When you ask the front desk a question they just wave you off. I am not sure if they are understaffed at the moment but I had a horrible experience and my annual check up took 1.5 hours. My husband then had an appointment 2 months later and his check up took 2 hours! They are rude and dismissive. Do not apologize for the wait or explain anything to you. Will definitely be looking for a new optometrist.

I have been seeing Dr. Archdale and staff for over a decade and am always pleased with their expertise, care and prompt service. They offer the best eye-care in the Pikes Peak region with an emphasis on care. Always willing to go the extra mile Dr. Ted recently worked me in on short notice. I would never go anywhere else. They also have a great selection of glasses and are willing to order something in if they dont stock it.

I brought my elderly mother here for a eye exam and was extremely satisfied!!! The front desk staff was so welcoming, professional and kind!! We worked with Amelia and Dr Bestwina and again they were so professional, kind, patient and really took they time to work with my mom to give her the best exam possible!!! We have been going to seeing Dr. Archdale since they opened. He is very knowledgeable and kind; his staff are great. We always buy our glasses from him because of the unbeatable warranty they offer. My glass broke about a year after buying them, they replaced them for free with new lenses.

The doctor did a great job! I had an optometry appointment about 3 months ago somewhere else and my prescription really wasnt working for me. The doc here took a look and said my prescription was about half what it shouldve been. He showed me my previous prescription and the one he was giving me and it was much clearer. Ive never had anyone do that and it gave me confidence that I wouldnt end up with some weird perception again. Staff were friendly. Ill definitely return!

My appointment was over 2 hours long and they where not busy. In fact all the front office was very chatty from everything to politics, people they knew that where in prison, and arguing on the phone(speaker)about a ticket she had received. Very inappropriate and unprofessional for an office setting. The doctor however was very good and helpfull..... that’s the only reason why they got 3 not 2 stars.

I have been going here for years. The Drs are great. But some staff members are very rude.

I have been a patient for 15 years. As always, i felt welcome from the time I walked in the door. Staff very professional and friendly. Dr. Archdale couldnt be more concerned about your vision health and communicates thoroughly on a patients level. The Optimap images give the complete picture to enable the doctor to validate any issues. Always leave confident that I will be seeing the best that I can. Kudos.

I had an eye exam at Archdale and was fitted for a pair of glasses. I had selected the frames I wanted which I loved. I asked them to keep my order in my records since I wanted to wait to purchase. I went back to purchase a few weeks later and found although they had my prescription they didnt save the information. They had assured me they would keep it in my records. I ended up having to go through the whole selection process again, which as you know can be time consuming. Time is precious when you have to take time away from work for an office visit. I wasnt able to identify the glasses I had selected previously but did find some that worked.

No waiting! Had a new doctor today, and I really liked Dr. Stephanie.

A horrible experience. The optician fitting my glasses and prescription at the final stage of the process was rude, presumptuous and extremely passive aggressive. This person should definitely NOT be in the customer service business. After a tense session with this person I dealt with a more experienced person that was much better. I will not use Archdale again.

I took my daughter (7) to see Dr. Cutler for an annual exam. He expressed concern about a spot on her eye. He originally asked us to come back in six months, then said six weeks, then asked us to come back again that week so he could recheck her. When I asked why the urgency, he said I have a seven year old. If it were my child, Id want to be sure. I want to give her the same care Id give my own child. He was kind and caring, while still professional. He went above and beyond his responsibilities as a doctor. I so appreciate Dr. Cutler!

Dr. Archdale provides excellent care. Support staff have a lot to be desired. One day after the staff was in training, I stopped by to pick up contacts, and the customer service was less than optimal.

From the moment I stepped into the office they were concerned for my welfare and provided a mask and hand sanitizer. They also guided me through the appointment quickly and without any problems.

I had a great experience at my initial appointment but when I went back in for my contact lense check up, before ordering my year supply, it all changed.At my first appointment I was told by 3 different employees that my contact company was running a huge rebate if I bought a year supply. I had them run me the numbers because I wanted to make sure that financially it was a smart choice to buy BOTH glasses and contacts. They told me I would have to pay $180 upfront and send in for a $120 rebate. $60 out of pocket in the end. When I went to pay today, I was told $240 upfront and a $120 rebate. That is now 2x as much as I budgeted to pay after rebate.Im so upset because $60 isnt just chump change. Thats a lot of money to be off.Yes, you guys have a great looking facility and top of the line equipment but that doesnt do justice at the end of the day. I expect to pay what I am initially told and trusted your staff that they had told me correctly.I would have given you 5 stars before today because everyone is nice and I loved the options of not having to get dilated but in the end, money is a big deal to short someone.

I LOVE this office. They have tons of cute glasses frames. Ive seen two different doctors there and both of them are fantastic. And because I have a weird thing with my eyes, they take extra special care to do the extra tests to make sure they are thorough and that my eyes are doing well.

When I first came here I was very content with the experience, however, after today I am extremely pleased with Archdale.My glasses broke just before I left town with no backup pair available. They were able to get me in and swapped my lenses to a new frame within an hour before I left tonight! They are always kind, smiling, and helpful regardless of the circumstances.Would, and have, easily recommend them to anyone looking for glasses!

I wad told by their staff that the frames I ordered online would work with my prescription. After I received the frames, I was told that they wouldnt put the lenses in because they wouldnt fit. When I asked where to go from there, or other stores or resources I could use, I was told I would just have to look around. New to this office and will be looking elsewhere.

This review is for Dr. Ryan Bauer. I was staying in Colorado Springs and managed to have a contact lost in my eye. Slightly panicked being away from from home I looked up the best Optometrist in the area. I came across Dr. Bauer and his staff and had a wonderful experience. If I lived in the area I would 100% go to him because he was very professional, his office was top notch and he assured me that I would get to keep my eye unharmed :) Thanks again Dr. Bauer for being the man!

Great staff and experience. Dr. Langr went above and beyond for me to make sure I had the correct contact lenses. Tried 3 different brands to find the best comfort and what worked best for me. Thanks to Dr. Langr taking his time to help me find the best fit my vision in my contacts is just as good as if were wearing my glasses, which is sometimes hard to pull off. Highly recommend Dr. Langr at Archdale. He’ll take great care of you.

My daughter is a patient of Dr.Harrison who has merged with Archdale Eyecare. Dr.Harrisons staff at his prior location was very warm and friendly, this new staff isnt so friendly. My daughter is bling in her left eye and her frame broke on her glasses so I went to Archdale to see if they could be fixed. The older lady with short white hair was adamant on telling me over and over and over again that they were not under warranty come to find out they were. She called me later that day to inform me that they were on back order but she had someone looking for a frame that would work for the time being and she would get back with me...2 weeks later still havent heard from them so I decided to call, same unfriendly lady tells me that she already told me they were on back order, I reminded her that she told me that she had someone trying to find a frame that work for the time being and her response, well we dont have any frames that will work...Imagine my surprise, you work for an eye doctor with many frames for glasses and not one would fit my daughters lens...you live and learn I guess..back to Eagle Eyes we go!
