I want to comment one of your store employees for outstanding customer service! Derek did not only help me find the item I was looking for, he also showed the upmost professionalism and care for his customers well being! I witnessed a male customer requesting for Derek not to serve him because Derek wore a protective facial mask. This customer requested to be served by a NON-masked store employee. Derek immediately brought in a NON-masked employee and with this he was able to help me. I applaud and appreachiate Derek for making sure he protects his customers, no matter if they are vaccinated or non-vaccinated, wearing a mask and with this prevents the spread of the virus as NONE of us is exempt from possibly carrying the SARS2 virus or are infected with it. Thank you Ace Hardware Northgate for employing such fine individuals. You are my favorite store! ~Sonja

There is nothing like a good hardware store to find what you need. If I ask for something Ive always found the group at this location was very helpful. If I dont ask I can spend time looking around and just gather things that I need at my own pace. The place is well stocked and its so much better than going to Home Depot. The prices may be a little higher on some items but not all. Its well worth the extra few dollars when everything is within reach. Ill will continue to support my local hardware store. We LOVE our neighborhood ACE store! We have always received attention and Superior Customer Service. During our most previous experience at ACE on Voyager - Matt provided much needed help with our project. I also want to brag about Debbie, she was the sweetest and most welcoming person in the garden area. Matt and Debbie bend over backwards to assist and educate customers.This type of service is hard to find these days.

We appreciate having a neighborhood Ace hardware store having grown up with one in a small town. Unfortunately, my experience in this store has been less than cordial, which many of us recognize has become a problem throughout our community and nation-wide. In this case, this includes some store employees and a few cliental.In the past an older female worker (garden) was less than polite and not at all helpful. More recently, an elderly customer cut in line ahead of me with contempt & disregard (but full awareness) of his actions and no response from store employees. Apparently others have experienced similar behaviors based on feedback below. As a retired senior military officer and disabled veteran, I value courtesy, respect, manners and professionalism, therefore I will think twice before shopping here again.

Avoid this place unless you know exactly what youre looking for and can find it yourself with no help. Wanted some brass fittings for a propane line. Told employee that and was told everythings on aisle 11, but no offer of assistance or inquiries about what I needed specifically. Stood there searching for at least 20 minutes -- no help. Employee eventually walked by and asked if I was finding things -- didnt wait for an answer and told me you shouldnt mess with gas as he kept walking. Thanks for nothing -- Ill spend my money elsewhere.Follow-up edit: Went directly to Ace on Garden of the Gods. Personal service immediately and throughout the process -- employee helped find exactly what I needed and I was out the door with transaction complete in five minutes or less. Thats a quality store, and theyve got my business from now on!

Great customer service! Very friendly and helpful staff. If you need any kind of hardware (bolts, nuts, washers, etc) this is the place tog go. A larger selection than the other chain stores. I will definitely be back!

Went in and didnt have a mask. One gentleman said I needed a mask in store so I said ok do you guys have them? Long story short. In order to stay in the store I would be required to buy a mask from them. So in order to shop at Ace I needed to pay extortion fee. I guess my Big Green Egg purchase will be at a different store.

The good old fashioned hardware store! It is cool how they even use old wood flooring in the nut and bolt department just like the old hardware stores. Always have friendly courteous and very helpful staff available to answer virtually question you have and help you find that exact size and type but, bolt, screw or nail!

Locally owned and so much better than the big box stores. Everyone here is super helpful. I truly enjoy visiting this store while I dread the alternatives.

My husband went to buy paint for our basement walls. I usually buy the paint, so he asked the older man working there what kind of finish he should use. He recommended to my husband to buy semi-gloss paint. Im extremely unhappy that someone who works at a hardware store would EVER suggest semi-gloss for a wall. I wish he could have gone to Lowes, but we needed Benjamin Moore paint.

I shop there because of convenience. However, the men who work in this store are not very friendly...always get a vibe of thinly veiled contempt, like there are much more important things they could be doing (like talking to the other men). The women who work here are great! They treat me with respect and are very helpful.

Love this store. You can buy only one screw if thats all you need, there are thousands of options, and the employees are helpful and friendly. For small home projects I much prefer this store over the big box stores.

What a great addition to the local area. This is a great store with very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. While certainly not as large as a Home Depot they definitely have the basics covered. Prices are fair and it is not uncommon to get a great deal. This location also refills propane and to have that service locally is a big win!

Go to Home Depot instead. If you have to return something and either dont have the receipt or someone other than yourself bought it with another credit card (even if youre in possession of the receipt) its like asking them to perform the impossible--they wont give store credit Seriously suggest bigger stores for a much more convenient and professional experience. Prices are somewhat higher as well. Friendly staff though.

The staff at this store are super friendly and knowledgeable. I always chose Ace over the big box stores and the staff at Ace are way more helpful. Plus, for me the location is more convenient. The store may not be as big as HD or Lowes but they always have what I need and expect from a hardware store.

Absolutely the worst customer service and return policy I have ever known. They act like everyone is a suspect of stealing from them somehow. My oldest son and his GF have been in there many times and we live right beside this store. When they returned an item they never used they were told that they would have to get store credit and had to spend it all right then. Ridiculous policy. I will never shop Ace Hardware again. Now I understand how they are going out of business across the country.

Very good store with an excellent supply of many items Home Depot does not carry. However, they close too early and from that 2 times, I had to go to their competition who stayed open later.
