These guys were great! Called at 9 am, said they would be here between 2 and 4. To my amazement, they were here at 2 on the dot! New door opener was definite necessity and 39 minutes later, old door opener was gone and new one installed. Very professional and fun to watch them work, they worked in tandem. Reasonable price and excellent service. Highly recommend!

Had issues with my garage door not always closing properly and these guys were able to get me taken care of after another company failed to show up for my scheduled appointment. They were responsive and were able to come out the next day as scheduled. Turned out to be a fairly simple fix and I was impressed by their professionalism and completely fair pricing. This company is amazing!! We have had issues with a garage door and had another company keep coming out. We finally decided to switch companies and it was the best decision! They came out the first time at a much cheaper rate than the other company, fixed the issue, and called to explain what was going on. On this call we discussed possibly needing a new door at some point. Fast forward a month later, the same door was having another issue so I called them to get an estimate on a new door. The receptionist said the person who would give the estimate will fix the issue while he was there. WELLLLL... he called that day and said the issue wasnt really an issue (explained a few tips to our tenants) and he didnt think we needed a new door just yet. This company could have sold me a new garage door and they didnt because they didnt feel right about selling me something I didnt need. Heres the kicker... they didnt even charge me for that visit. Very honest, reliable, professional company. SOOOOO glad we switched.

I unfortunately had accidentally backed into my garage door and the damage looked pretty bad.😩 I called father and son and sent in some pictures and he stated that he thought from the pictures it would need to be replaced. However once they came out and inspected it they were able to fix it instead of buying a whole new door! Thank you for being a company with honesty and integrity!! We had a spring break on a Sunday afternoon (always the best timing!!); I called Father and Son that same afternoon and they got back to me before 8 am on Monday (the next day) and an appt. was set for that afternoon. The appt. actually occurred just a little bit before the designated two hour window, with a call ahead from them to let me know they were running ahead of schedule. The replacement of the spring took less than a half hour, and everything was wrapped up quickly. Drew was our technician- super friendly, nice guy, and just a pleasure to work with. People are quick to speak when things dont go right; not so much when they do... so I wanted to make sure to let you all know what a fantastic experience this was. Great work!!

The install guys where as great as the first crew. They were timely, courteous, professional and went above and beyond by fixing a bunch of small items that were damaged/loose. I called Father & Son garage door after our garage door quit working. I called three companies to get quotes on repair/replacement and F&S was my last call. Even though I called around 10 am the friendly receptionist said she had a same day appointment from 3-5. Shortly after 3, I received a call from Sheridan N. introducing himself and confirming they were on the way.Upon arriving, Sheridan identified the problem immediately. Within 10 minutes, I had a quote for fixing the door opener, replacing the door opener, and replacing the door. Sheridan gave me his cost recommendations and gave me some time frames for replacing the door. He also patiently answered all my questions and even showed me a couple things about the garage door that I did not know. After deciding to replace the opener, he and his colleague Alex completed the job within an hour of arriving at the house! He then took time to explain what they replaced and walked through some of the features of the opener.We also decided to replace the door and within 20 minutes of their departure we had already received a call from the home office confirming the door order. My house faces north and I damaged my garage door when I didnt realize it was frozen shut and kept hitting the button. The opener proceeded to bend several struts on the door. I thought I needed a new garage door. But Mike and Michael came to the rescue! Michael gave me two quotes, one to replace the panels on the door and the other to replace the struts. I went with the repair and they were done in less than an hour at a great price! As if that wasnt enough, he also told me about a feature on my opener that I could control it with an app on my phone. We had a unique garage door project that Father & Son were crucial in pulling off in one day. We needed a taller garage door and our contractor was not comfortable doing the takedown portion of the old door before raising the threshold height. I got a garage door opener installed a few months ago, and I couldnt have been happier with the services. They came the same day and the price was so great, and the work was even better! The reason my review isnt 5 Stars is due the the fact recently I needed another remote for my garage door. I called and was told it would be 45$ for the remote, and then a 95$ service call. So i went to Lowes and got the same remote that came with the system when i got it installed for 35$ and it took me 2 minutes to program it. I understand this is a business and needs to make money but to charge 140$ for such a simple thing seemed way to much to charge. That is almost half of what i paid for the whole garage door opener to be installed.

A friend of ours had a problem, hit the gas pedal and went through our garage door. I called Father & Son Garage Door and was told since their estimator was out of town it would be the next day before they could get someone out, after hearing a lot of great things about the company I set it up. Later I get a call from Fran and she has got a hold of Dan and he could make it that afternoon. Dan arrived and gave me an estimate for my insurance. Dan did an excellent job and saved me some money pointing out what could be reused. I told him he had the job I just had to wait on insurance company. I could not be happier with the service I received from Father & Son Garage Doors. They explained my options and the process involved for replacement doors on 2 townhome units, provided the paperwork I needed for the HOA, installed quickly, cleaned up, there were no surprise charges, and everything was done for a good 20% less than the next best estimate I received. I love these new doors, too. Today its 5 degrees outside, but the temperature inside these garages is above freezing, and the rooms above the garages feel no cooler than the rest of the house. Andy W. was the repairman that came to repair a broken spring on our heavy garage door. He was very friendly, fast, and thorough in his work. He recommended that all four springs (including the broken one) be replaced based on the age of the springs. He said that any one of the other three springs could break at any time based on their age. He left the decision up to me but strongly suggested that all the springs be replaced since he would have it all disassembled. They did not charge additional labor to replace the other three springs. I would not hesitate to recommend Father and Son Garage Door to family and friends.

Andrew came out and adjusted my garage door spring to compensate for insulation I installed. He was very nice and respectful for the whole visit and the door works great now. He even lubed some parts on the door which made it a lot quieter.

I went online to look for a garage door repair company and found that Father and Son had great reviews. I call and talked to Fran and she gave me a quick response to my request for a new garage door and installation. Once the door arrived they scheduled the installation within a week and did a great job of communicating the arrival time to my home. Everything went smoothly and Mike was very pleasant . I would call them again for any future needs and recommend them to others.

Father and Son Garage Door are lifesavers.Im literally writing this while they are finishing up. The spring on my garage door busted right after stopping home for lunch today trapping my car in the garage. I called Father and Son Garage Door right away and they happened to have someone near my area. Long story short, these guys will have the door fixed within the hour I called, and for a very reasonable price. Theyve been thorough, communicative, respectful and pleasure to work with. (June 2020) I cant post another review but man I sure wish I could. Yet again this company has saved me so much money. The tech came out as I was having what seemed to be signal issues. Couldnt use the remotes. He came out and saw the LED bulbs next to my older motor/board and that was the fix (remove the bulbs. No charge, no fees, nothing. I bought two long range remotes just in case. But ever since the bulb removal its been perfect in operation. This company is truly the best out there.(Sep 2019) TWO WORDS: BLOWN AWAYTechnicians called ahead of time. Arrived 5 min early. Explained everything they were going to do. Was done in less than 30 min converting my Walton Torquemaster spring to a standard tension spring. Door was fixed/adjusted/and ready to go in less than 30 min.Nothing but professionals in this company. I cant recommend them enough.Side note: Ive been having trouble trying to get my door spring fixed and called another overhead door company to get it fixed and they charged me $60 for looking at it and that it would take 4 weeks to order the part.

Awesome service and very fair price. Tanner was just out and repaired our troublesome warehouse bay door and did an outstanding job. I was expecting to hear that we needed an expensive repair but was pleasantly surprised to find out it was a rather simple fix. He didn’t try to upsell me or feed me any BS.
