I made a custom guitar for my dad, but I’m more of a woodworker than a musician. Took it to Curtis for a final setup and fret dressing. He did a phenomenal job getting it playing as good as it looks. Great work.
I had a 1978 Peavey T-40 sitting around that had more problems than I could possibly list, which is understandable for a 40+ year old bass. I decided to take it down to Blindworm to see if they could help me out and I am more than pleased with how everything turned out.The formerly flat frets are now round and clean. The crackling pickups are now crystal clear. Its got a new input jack that no longer requires me moving the cable around to avoid loud buzzing. The neck is now straight as an arrow. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that Curtis took this thing from rags to riches for a very reasonable price and the turnaround time was quick. This was all a little over two years ago and the bass still thunders like its brand new, thanks to all the work put in by Blindworm.
Waste of time... The website said they are open so I thought support local the place was closed despite the posted hours on the door. Really the place looked kind of sketchy outside but I guess Ill never know what the inside is like... I ended up going to Guitar Center which was both open and super friendly.
They did a great job doing some body work on my acoustic guitar! And for a good price
My EVH 5150iii was on the fritz. The doods at blindworm guitars s had it fixed in a day for a very reasonable cost. I will be back. Much appreciated!
The folks at Blindworm setup my bass guitar perfectly. The neck is perfect, the neck angle is better, fully intonated, and sounds better than ever! Plus, the service was mega friendly and attentive. Please give them work! I’ll be back tomorrow for another bass.
