Very knowledgeable about gutairs and their construction. Saddle was too low causing the strings to mute. He replace the saddle and made some other adjustments and now she plays beautifully. Great job Mike!

Took my electric to get setup, which I thought was fairly setup and didnt need much. Boy was I wrong. Wow! What a difference that made. Its like a completely different guitar. Plays and sounds incredible. Highly recommended. Thanks Mike!

I recently purchased an Epiphone Les Paul on eBay and brought it in to be re-setup. The sound was a little fuzzy and it just needed some general repair and maintenance. When I got the guitar back it was in perfect shape and sings like a swan and cries like a baby. He even adjusted my pickups. In fact, he saved me $300 by pointing out that the pickups I was thinking about buying were not nearly as good as the ones I already had. That’s good service! Great quality is what someone needs to be successful but it is the level of service that will keep me coming back.

I recently had Michael tuneup my Taylor acoustic with a new saddle, fret dressing and neck adjustment. It sounds and feels so good now I dont want to put it down. Should have done it years ago. Such attention to detail...a great craftsman!

Michael is an old sage guitar wizard. He knows all there is to know, and puts top tier level craftsmanship into every guitar he works on. I took him two guitars, then another one, then another. Dont waste your time with other shops - go here first. Ive been taking my guitars to Michael since 2006, and even though I now live in Denver, I still make the hour drive down to Colorado Springs when I need setup work done. His knowledge and attention to detail are something you just wont find at other shops. Your guitar will come back playing like a completely different instrument. Even after 13 years, Im still blown away by the quality of his work. His prices are very reasonable, as is his turnaround time. Highly recommended!
