I have been to this place 3 times! They have great snack at good prices and the staff is always nice. Multiple-choices to choose from. Definitely recommend an ice cream to cool off from a warm day,Or if you are feeling a sweet and spicy craving the number 21 is my personal favorite. However the fruit cocktail is my 2nd favorite with its season fruits.

Went to this place, paid with a debit card. Now my card is being charged repeatedly for multiple $1.50 Cola-Cola transactions, and suddenly for $120 from S. Academy Liquor. This is the only place I used my card since, and the employee who took it had it for a while before they returned with it. Bad for business. They just changed my card again at Aeropostale in Castle Rock. I hope you find the employee that is responsible, the bank is investigating this fraud.

Recently relocated here from San Diego. With my job I spent about 80% of my time in Mexico ranging from Mexicali to Oaxca. Needless to say I became quite spoiled on Mexican food and culture. So when my wife and I moved here I set out on a quest to find the good Mexican food and stores because lets face it American Mexican food will never come close.So, on a recommendation from a local resident here I visited Neveria Monarca in search of a tasty elote and maybe recommendations for other good Mexican food.As soon as I walked in I was transported to Mexico. The sounds, the look, the feel....I was there. Now, there are no special decorations here, romantic booths to sit in or is it a spotless restaurant.......what it is, is a small taste of Mexico tienda that has been transported to Colorado. The store is nothing special, but the staff are friendly the food good and the elote was was heavenly! I have had many elotes from street vendors in Mexico and this blows any of them away. I had the Elote Supreme and the first thing I noticed was the fresh corn, which is nothing like the spongy stuff you get on the street. Lots of spices, cheese, butter and mayo made this ear of corn delicious! In fact my wife took a bite of mine and immediatly said...you better get another one!She had the Diablito and said it was great but shell have to give her review on it. Lots of choices here that look great and it was very busy the whole time we were there, so they must be doing something right. If you are going to compare this to Starbucks then you are making a mistake because there is no comparison...they are not even close to the same thing. If you are looking for a little bit of Mexico then you need to stop by and grab a bite. Pricing is what you would expect to get something like this in the U.S.......its not as cheap as Mexico but thats because we are not in Mexico....Cost of goods are more expensive here, but that being said, pricing was what I consider normalI will definitely be back... With friends and family!

Came by last night and got a mango raspado to share with my wife and son. Well after finishing it we all got diarrhea and had to take my 2 year old to the hospital because he couldn’t stop puking last night, turns out we got food poisoning.

In the area and tried a banana split. It was great and price fair. Among deserts are some laudable foods hard to find in many franchises.

Was my first time visiting this place and I was extremely impressed. The cashier was extremely nice and asked if I had anyquestions about the products to just ask her. Definitely very nice staff willing to serve. I placed my ordered and even though it was a busy Sunday I got my order within 5 minutes. They also have a rewards card which is awesome! Definitely coming back soon ! Loved it!

I ordered 3 elotes en vaso and to my disappointment they were terrible! The corn was absolutely flavorless with what tasted like stale cheese and sour mayo. I immediately went back inside to return them ask for a full refund. The lady at the register was very kind and apologetic and immediately refunded me my money. She also offered us something else in place of that but I kindly refused. The ice cream we ordered was also a disappointment. The service was nice and all but not worth returning!

Le tuve que decir lo que quiero y ya por fin nos puso atención. Buenas botanas pero súper mal servicio.-The food is good and all but they take forever to serve you. When we entered no one greeted us, which okay that’s the least of anyones concern... but we stood by the ice cream for a while with the employee walking back and forth in front of us talking to what I assume to be the delivery man organizing their supply completely ignoring us. I had to initiate conversation with the employee for her to finally attend us. The food is great but their service is not.

I order some papas especiales and only got 4 shrimps and the rest was chips and cueros. Nothing I asked for was right and the drinks didn’t taste good it was sour like if the drink was expired.

I was expecting great food and service sadly that is not what I received. The food and drinks are extremely overpriced, its cheaper to get a Starbucks drink than a mango drink there. I was expecting it to taste something like what eloteros make and sadly I was very disappointed. Paid $6 for a drink that did not taste good whatsoever. If you are thinking about trying this place out I would give other places a chance first. Save your money,time, and expectations because you are better off making the drinks or food yourself.

Was very well priced took out a family of five for ice cream spent less than $20 ice cream was excellent flavored kids loved it.

It was the worst place in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They overcharged with card use and also the vegies and fruits are rotten and tasted disgusting. I got stomach ache after that.

I visited Neveria Monarca had a couple of mexican snacks and they where delicious and customer services is great all the workers where well presented.The wait was 3 minutes or less...I recommend Neveria Monarca !!!

This place is by far my favorite to go place for a snack or a frozen dessert. Needless to say its AUTHENTIC Mexican snack and or desserts so check this place out!!!! You will be amazed !

The people there didnt know what I was talking about when I came for sherbet. Got elote en vaso and was really gross I didnt eat it. My kids didnt eat the ice cream ...if that says anything (3 and 4 yrs). My daughter said diablito was pretty nasty too.

Have been craving water ice cream for a looong time came for vacation and stopped. For some Limon ice cream the guy at the cash register suggested one,that had Limon ice cream with chamoy it was delicious.I also order white corn in a cup it was so hard I couldnt eat it.

Worst customers services. Too long a wait. I waited 25 minutes just for 2 corn Supremes and 2 corn in a cup. I had it and I left without even paying. They didnt had no manager. Unsupervised teenagers working with no manager or the owner.

Stopped by today for some ice cream and I was so impressed with the quality of ice cream, food and drinks they serve here.My boyfriend and I got corn on the cob with their special aioli dressing, Pina Colada ice cream, one of their fruit based (not milk based) ice cream and a mango smoothie with their traditional lucas seasoning.The corn on the cob was delicious with the special aioli blend/sauce on it. Ive been to other tapas places that charge $7-9 for this type of corn and this was just as good, if not better.The mango smoothie had a sweeter taste but they threw in Lucas seasoning to give it a Mexican feel to the drink. It was soo soo good! I was drinking it so fast I got brain freeze several times.My boyfriend contemplated going back for their coconut ice cream but was pretty full so he decided to opt out.All of the ice cream is hand made there and the two we had were really good! Im assuming this place is probably a regular spot for a lot of the Spanish population because Lorena, the owner told me they werent really busy although the place had almost every chair taken. She also told me during the warmer weather, the line is out the door, wrapped around the building.If you are in the area, stop by! The staff here are extremely nice and answer all questions as I dont speak fluent Spanish and almost everything has a Spanish twist to it.

Was told it would be a 20 minute wait...Sat here and watched everyone else get their orders and leave meanwhile it took over 45 minutes to get a basic elote on a stick, don’t come here if you wanna waste your time.

Well, the very good attention they are friendly, but it is not worth that the super high prices are so open. I ordered some special potatoes for $ 16, they add half the bag of potatoes, shrimp only brought 4, the valentina was shaved with water. They were not good at all. I would have preferred to go to the changanda. I recommend that you do not spend your money, one pays to get a good taste in your mouth and it is not worth thinking about your earnings. As they want to earn their money, we still do not earn it with our effort, to our liking and it is not worth paying for something that is not well done. In my life I go again

When I go to Colorado Springs I love going to Neveria Monarca because they have excellent customer service and I love the corn with a lot of chili, tostilocos are delicious and my favorite Clamato with dried meat and shrimp, I highly recommend them.

Excellent attention, Kim was kind at all times, that made my purchase more pleasant. Although the quality of my corn has not convinced me much ..
