The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We went in with a couple of ideas of what my son wanted to play and they helped determine what would be the best fit for his abilities. They also set us up with any supplies we would need for the continued care of the instrument. We will be frequent patrons to this establishment 💜

Best shop in Colorado Springs. Took a guitar in for a truss rod and action adjustment. They did it right there, had me on my way in 20 minutes and gave me the best rate any guitar shop ever will. I’ll be bringing all my guitars there.

Save yourself. Don’t go when busy. Their service model is first in first out on a waitlist…I waited 55 minutes to buy a $7 item. No one working the register, just all clerks working rentals…no help for those just wanting to buy a quick item. Good luck.

Walked in..it was dead quiet. A lil weird for a music store. I mean no nolse at all, no talking, no muzac, no musicians playing..nice enough place it just struck me as odd.

Upset and Embarrassed. Weve been renting from Meeker this school year for my kids alto sax and my clarinet, and they have been very supportive and helpful. I was so excited to hear they were having an Elevate Your Sound event all of May, and hoped to upgrade both our instruments. I made an appointment clearly stating what I was hoping to do. No one responded to me other than to confirm my appointment. I spent a month anticipating, hoping to try some quality instruments by different manufacturers. Instead, as soon as I said student I was met with oh no, this is for intermediate, here you can try our student stuff. Totally ruined my excitement, and frankly I was embarrassed.

I absolutely love this place! The people working here are absolutely lovely and they don’t jump on you the moment you walk in like a used car salesman. I have had nothing but positive interactions with everyone who works there and they have all gone out of their way to assist me. Highly recommend!

Over this place and their terrible customer service. There staff is so unfriendly and lazy. After 5 years of patience with their staff, I can’t handle it anymore.We needed a larger instrument and the lady tried to say we would be fine with the size down. When we explained that our daughter’s teacher said she needed the larger size, she was upset because she had to go upstairs for it. I’m not even joking.Not only that, we were given an instrument with a broken case because they didn’t have a proper one on hand. They suggest I sew it myself. They later replaced it after that one broke and I had to follow up on the previous replacement.Any time we’ve been in the store, we have been greeted with ignorance and rude attitudes. I won’t even get into the recent situation but I have had it and will never rent or purchase from meeker music again. What a terrible establishment.

Only music store in town that carries everything I need. I play saxophone and bassoon, so having a place where I can buy reeds locally and get my instruments repaired is great. They also have a good selection of method books and other song books if youre interested in learning popular songs.

This place reminds me of the music store feom my childhood, in a quaint little neighborhood. The people here are so friendly. My daughter loves coming here too. I recommend this place. And of course Im coming back!

Less than one star. Dont waste your time. I went it to buy something, but they didnt have in stock, but did have it at another local location. The person I spoke to assured me they would have it there by 11 30 the following morning for me.So I go back at noon the following day and he clerk said oh I saw it it the box I was supposed to bring, but something happened its not in there, I must have taken it out. Didnt apologise for wasting my time. Did not make arrangements for someone to bring it right then. She then resumed talking to her friend on her cell. I will never shop there again.

As a music teacher myself, I know Meeker Music doesnt always have the lowest price, but the prices are reasonable and the product is always quality.

Meeker music has been here in Colorado Springs for a long long time. They are always friendly and helpful without being pushy. These people come out to schools (particularly West Middle & Elementary in d11 old Colorado City) in the evening, after they get off work. They give discounts for the kids. Weather you are buying or renting, they have great deals for every budget. And if you happen to be low income, they have programs for you as well so all of our kids regardless of income, or any other obstacles ur family may have at the time!!! Meeker Music REALLY IS GIVING THE GIFT OF MUSIC TO COLORADO SPRINGS KIDS EACH AND EVERY DAY! They are what community is ALL ABOUT! Was just there planning on buying a new instrument. Had a few hundred dollars in my pocket and walking in I wasnt even looked at by the lady at the register. Upon playing the stringed instruments for about 15 minutes (mind you half that time I was tuning them all for them) I was told I had 5 minutes to buy something or Id be asked to leave. Its a shame I had my eye on a Washburn electric mandolin, strings, cables and rosin... could have been a 400 dollar sale but with that kind of rudeness Ill take my business to one of the stores I frequent. BYE

To make a long story short, I had terrible experience with a guitar center on Platte and academy that resulted in a broken pin in my bridge and questions of further damage to my acoustic guitarI was really upset and took my guitar downtown to meeker music shop on tejon. Sarah from meeker music got the broken pin out of there, cleaned my guitar, tightened the tuning nuts that guitar center told me couldnt be fixed or tightened, restrung my guitar, got me another little E string that i didnt have and 6 new matching pins for about 12 dollars. she also talked to me and taught me how to do it myself! +10 for for customer service! Ill be returning here beacause I know this place cares
