Best service ever! Ross knows what hes doing, hes efficient, and a really nice guy. Definitely take your instruments here if you need something fixed
Top notch all around. Bought a Crate amp and had my guitar, and acoustic pickup fixed (twice). The best person for the job. Thanks!
This guy is a genius. He helped fix my electronic piano a few years ago. He was careful, extremely knowledgeable, and some of his stories that he kindly shared brought a huge smile to my face. Would trust and recommend Rosstronics for any/all of your electronic needs. Stellar service, thank you!
Great service. Brought life back into my amp even though it was well past its life span.
Couldnt have asked for a better, more satisfying experience. My Roland digital piano was only producing sound out of one channel. Ross offered to pick up the piano from Englewood since I live in Denver and his shop is in CO Springs. He discovered the issue, fixed it quickly, and got it back to me sounding like new again for much less than I would have expected it to cost. Communication was excellent throughout. Highly recommend!
He did a great job fixing the part of a casio keyboard that the sustain pedal jack plugs into. He was quick and reasonable.
Ross is really knowledgeable and helpful, reasonable prices super competent great guy. I had a piano, 1986 old digital, that had been heavily heavily used for 30 years for gigs worked 80% but needed some work. Got me totally fixed up good as new in about 2 hours. Recommend this place
Awesome Gentleman!Great store!😁😁😁😊😎😎😷😷🤓🤓
Exactly what I needed. Very knowledgable
Ross is legit. He’s old school. I would not let anyone else touch my vintage tube amps. He’s affordable and a true craftsman.
Found a record player at a thrift shop that needed some work. Ross was incredibly knowledgeable, his prices were reasonable and is a super down-to-earth guy. Couldnt recommend a place more if youre looking to get something fixed!
I had an 8 -Track player Ingot when I was 8yrs old that we played an old 8 track with every Christmas since and would call all of the family over the holiday and not say anything just play the song and we all loved the tradition until it didnt work anymore. Ross Tronics repaired the player and the actual 8 Track and we have our family tradition back before the holidays this year. So excited and thankful!! 😊
Knowledgeable and skilled electronics repairman. Hes helped with a couple amps and record players and always does a thorough job. Being thorough usually means waiting a bit, but its always worth it!
Great service. Fantastic conversation. Luke sitting on the porch with an old friend .
Ross came to my house in Boulder to do Kawai warranty repair on my CA-95 digital piano, which had developed many squeaky and sticky keys (piano is about 4 years old). Hes one of the few people in Colorado, if not the only one, with the experience and credentials to do this kind of repair. He took the extra time to replace a certain felt pad on all 88 keys, *one at a time*, so that the keyboard would feel absolutely consistent from one end to the other, and then put up with me graciously as I kept pointing out minor issues and slight tweaks that I needed him to do. For this reason it took him most of the day to do my repair (and he had 2 more to do in Boulder that day), but he takes great pride in his work and is willing to go the extra mile to make a customer happy. (He also has lots of cool stories to tell from all the repairs and jobs hes done over the years!) Highly recommended!
Repaired my mic quickly and it works better than it did before!
Great knowledge of electronics and musical instruments. Experience in good customer service. Charges were reasonable.
I brought Ross my early 80s Carvin amp for minor repairs, thinking there was probably something else wrong, too. He was immediately able to tell, as well, that something was wrong, and graciously offered to take a closer look. He went above and beyond, and was even able to identify that there was something wrong with it when it came straight out of the factory. It runs like new, except even better now, and he was also a really kind, personable guy to deal with. I will be going there for any gear repairs I need in the future, and highly recommend him. Its hard to know who to trust with your gear, and he obviously takes a lot of pride in his work, and is passionate about doing everything he can to make sure things end up running at top capacity by the time they leave the shop. Great guy, great business.
Good enough
After my 1993 Fender Blues amp sat for three and a half weeks at another shop, I brought it to Ross and he diagnosed the main problem (transformer) right in front of me to get the part ordered. He warned me he was two weeks behind, but it was ready in 9 days.He had the amp on the bench for several hours to pinpoint the underlying resistors that led to the power transformer getting cooked, replaced the resistors, reinforced solder points, and trimmed up the bias circuit that had been added during a mod to ensure the tubes wouldnt get cooked accidentally. His price was so low that I tipped him an hour just to make it feel fair!
Best electronics guy in the Springs for musical stuff.
I have had Ross work on several amps over the years, and again recently. He does fantastic work and is a great to talk shop with.
Brought my super reverb in, Ross ripped it apart while I watched, took me thru the process of what he was doing/ how the amp worked etc. He got it up and running again within the first hour, barely charged me for his work. I had a very enjoyable time going thru the amp and talking with Ross. I will be bringing all of my gear here from now on!!!
Brought it an old microphone that I didnt know much about to have the cord replaced. Staff was friendly, knowledgable, and didnt condescend my lack of knowledge (Like some stores!). Helped me out quickly and efficiently. They only take cash or check which is a bit of a drawback, but I will be using these guys again in the future!
Will be using this place again. Great service
Have had Yamaha keyboards worked on multiple timesRoss always does excellent workHe gets things done quickly and always rightThere is no one better in town to work on your instruments
Rosstronics is one of the best places to trust with your most valued Electronics. I highly recommend rosstronics for the repair of your instruments and HiFi electronics and Ross has a good contact for speakers as well. When the passive radiators in my Boston Acoustics American-made speakers needed a repair Rosss recommendation proof to have good craftsmanship because the repairs where undetectable and the speakers looked as good as new and sounded just great exclamation point
Fixed my Mesa Boogie DC 5. Very knowledgeable and reasonable, upfront pricing.
Excellent Service...They have repaired plenty of equipment for me over the years!
Fast, friendly, honest, and affordable!
I brought my 410 Fender Hot Rod Deville amp into Ross Tronics Presumably with bad tube sockets (amp would power on but no sound). Ross met me at the door and we chatted for a while about all sorts of non-sense. he really knows his stuff.I brought the amp in on Wednesday and received a call from Ross on Friday, less than 48 hours later letting me know that the amp was already to go! Turns out i had some faulty solder points. I had Ross replace the 6L6GTs and re-bias the amp with the new tubes. Works like a charm! I wiIl definitely be returning. super pleased with the experience.
Worst electronics repair shop i have ever done business with!!! Brought a speaker in to get reconed they reconed it with the wrong cone. Brought it back to get fixed and they told me it is fine but the cone in it is noncompatable. I called up there to see how it was going and the owner repeatedly hung up on me and was extremely rude to me. They refuse to fix it or refund my money. Absolutely horrible place and way unprofessional. Would not recommend this place to anyone!
Great place, very versed
Good repairs!
Extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, great rates,
The owner is rude and they were not able to find the problem with my bass head and still charged me a lot of money. Find somewhere else to go.
