Phew, chile. If I could give it zero stars, I would. There’s a lack of communication, horrible customer service. They’ve had my car for almost three months for an alternator. For the few good folks who work in there such as Joey, get out of there while you can.

I you are in the market for a new car you must go to Stivers Hyundai you will save money. I tried to buy at North Charleston Hyundai called Louie at Stivers saved $4500.00. Called North Charleston Hyundai backed they told me to buy from Stivers Hyundai that there price was there price. Louie by far is the best of the best. Louie is SECOND to NONE. Cliff the finance manager we get you the best rate out there and go over everything with you. I will be going back. All I can say is you really need to check. With Louie and Cliff before you sign and drive.

Nelly was amazing! She worked with me for almost 2 months trying to get my family a 2021 Palisade. We had reserved one and Hyundai kept pushing back the delivery date due to everything going on in the market today(no fault of Nelly’s). Every time a truck showed up at the dealer she would text me and let me know what they received that was available(we wanted limited/caligraphy). She was always quick to respond and great to work with. NO BS either. Finally got a caligraphy today(not what we ordered), it was one available that was delivered on a truck. I would highly recommend her and this dealership!

These people RIP OFFS . Bought a used car -was told the there was an oil change ( stripped bolt oil pan and oil filthy, leaking ), all 4 tires were new ( 2 were ten years old with tire shine ? ), clean the car but they were short employees, asked me to leave it . Brakes on back gone. They brought it 4 days later, as Im on my way to a funeral . The management is a liar and salesman is a liar, quite disgusting . Theyre are other things wrong and I have pictures . Truly eye opening experience . I am fortunate that I didnt get hurt in this vehicle .

Absolutely horrible customer service. My car has been in there for over 3 months for an engine replacement. Was told multiple times over the past month that all my parts were in yet they kept extending out the completion date by weeks. Was told last week by service manager it would absolutely be done by 9/7 called all day and they would say they would look into it and call back and they never did. Then they started dodging my calls or just flat out hanging up on me. I have not been belligerent or rude up till this point. Today I finally got Todd on the phone after calling up there at least 10 times and constantly being hung up on or ignored. I could instantly tell he was annoyed that he had to walk over to the tech to find out an update on my car. When he finally got back to me he said that the final part got in today…wait a minute the final part was there 3 WEEKS AGO!!!! He was so condescending and rude and told me it was cool that I filed complaints and went to the media about the dealership. The whole problem is communication. This service center and dealership has zero communication. They tell us the vehicle will be done by a certain date and that date passes and they don’t bother to call or explain anything. They straight up lie to us about parts being there and have come up with excuse after excuse. I would never buy a vehicle and I would probably trust my 6 year old to service my car more than I trust them. I am honestly afraid of what damage will be done to my car there now that I’m on their radar.

Just bought a brand new Kona SEL from Louie at Stivers Hyundai, and drove down from Charlotte to do so after a few other bad experiences with other dealers.As a young woman buying a car myself it was extremely important to work with a sales person who would not underestimate my intelligence and be upfront with me about pricing/financing/the whole process.I def found that with Louie at Stivers. I got exactly the car I wanted in the color/trim that I wanted and felt well informed and comfortable with the whole process. I would highly recommend shopping for a Hyundai here.

I met with Nelly Wharton to buy my daughter a car after her accident. Nelly was very attentive to my daughters vehicle needs and was very empathic regarding her recent accident. She was very professional and offered us drinks and snacks that she was willing to buy out of her own pocket. She knew a lot about the used car that we bought and after it was all said and done the smile on my daughters face said it all. We both like Nelly a lot and will definitely refer anyone we know to her that is in need of a new or used vehicle.

DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THE RESISTALL TREATMENT! The detail company that Stivers uses is extremely sub par. The first time they applied the resistall ceramic coating they didnt even both to wash the car first. Just wiped it on over dirt and bug guts (they had the car for 3 hours as well). Not to mention they didnt apply the treatment to the roof at all.We were extremely dissatisfied with the work the first time and eventually relented and allowed them to attempt the resistall treatment again.The second time they at least washed the car but still did an awful job on it (they had the car for 4 hours this time), not even close to being worth the $500 for the resistall treatment.Some of the photos were taken after the first treatment and some after the second treatment. Not what you would expect of a brand new $43,000 vehicle.

Called Stivers regarding a used Honda Element and spoke with Zino. As I’m almost fours hours away I wanted a lot more info on the car before driving to Columbia. I asked Zino if he’d send more pictures and he offered to send a video as well. He did a great video pointing out everything on the used Honda, he even made video of the underside of the car. Zino was totally honest and up front when describing the car making it easy for me to decide to drive to Columbia. He was very professional and personable throughout the buying process, and we got a great car! Thank you, Zino!

Ike Ukata was the salesman I dealt with over the phone and in person. He was very transparent, there were no surprises. He was honest and very helpful. The total time I was at the dealership which included the brand new car getting detailed and me test driving it was less than two hours. Then I needed help with setting up blue link the next day and Ike, after making the sale still was there to help me. It was a very great experience especially for someone who loathes going to car dealership.

It was hard to wait for service as they are now shorthanded. No one seems to want a job these days. Absolutely disgraceful. Service department has had my Hyundai for 3 months. They never willingly give updates, most of the time I’ll call them multiple times throughout the day, usually won’t get an answer and they never call back if you leave a message. I’ve been told multiple times that my car would be done by such and such date and that never happens. There’s never any managers to talk to, I’ve even asked for the GM of the dealership and never get a hold of anyone. I literally feel like my car is being held ransom. It was supposed to be done today and we called them multiple times, most of the time no one answered, got on the phone with 2 different techs who said they would call us back and never did. Then at the end of the day the dealerships phone answerer responded by saying “I don’t know what you want me to do about it” Um maybe give me back my car??? Disgraceful, if you’re brave enough to buy a Hyundai considering the massive engine problems they’ve had, do yourself a favor and don’t ever take it to this dealership for service.

I would give less stars if I could. I recently had my car serviced due to an engine recall on 6/9/2021. I inquired about how long it would take for the repairs and was told it would take a while. I asked about a loaner car and was told they were not able to give me one since they have several customers with the same issue.This process took almost three months. I would have to call several times, almost daily to finally be able to speak with someone regarding the status of my vehicle. The technician assigned to my car was hardly ever there and nobody except him knew anything about my car. Once my car was ready I came by to pick it up, only to find that the interior on the drivers side had been sprayed with oil!! It was all on the windshield and on the radio, seat, inside the door, and even on my visor mirror!!If this was not a free service (recall) I would never go there. Cannot get ahold of anyone to find out about my car. When I got someone they didnt know anything. And once the car was returned to me it was filthy!! What a horrible way to do business.

We went to get a 2022 Hyundai Tucson Limited from Stivers and worked with Vante. Our overall experience was warm and welcoming to start, followed by an experienced team, fair prices, and excellent customer service. They worked to the best of their ability to ensure that we were offered not only a reasonable deal but the best around for our vehicle. They are a dealership that puts the customer first. I will definitely come back here for my future purchases of Hyundai vehicles and specifically to work with Vante again.

My wife and I were looking for a new vehicle for her. They did a good job at showing the features and benefits of the vehicle and having a friendly staff. However, it was the purchasing part of the process where we were extremely unhappy. We were approved through financing through our bank and stated this. They gave us the absolute LOWEST offer for our trade in out of every other dealership we went to and stated they could only give us more if we financed through them. We said no repeatedly and they kept trying to force us to finance through them just to give us a better deal. We purchased through another dealership right after leaving because they offered us full trade value for our current loan and didnt try to force us to use their financing. Stivers Finance manager needs to learn that when your customer says no and you try to force them that all you are going to do is force them to the competition. The offer from Chevy next door was a higher cost and we still would have purchased from them over Hyundai because they listened and didnt try to force things on us. Stivers prices arent bad but prepare for excuses if you are paying in full or financing with your bank as to why they cant give you a better deal if you dont use them. I know there is a kickback for the dealership from the bank for using their financing and it gets their manager bonus money, but dont drive away paying customers just cause you want to make an extra buck for yourself. GO TO MAZDA OF COLUMBIA IF YOU WANT A BETTER DEAL AND BETTER TREATMENT.

I needed a steering wheel coupler. The Hyundai dealer I purchased the vehicle at in Columbia told me its a 6 week wait. I called Stivers, and Antwan said they could take care of me immediately. They also took care of the 3 recalls while I had the car there. The Hyundai dealer I purchased the vehicle at in Columbia told me the parts for the recall were not available yet.

While I love my car I have to say my experience buying it was not great. In my opinion I feel like my sales person forgot to bring his integrity to the party. I should have walked away from the deal and gone anywhere else. I stayed. The whole process took entirely too long to actually put ink to paper. Maybe they were understaffed? I dont know. I didnt trade anything in. 5 stars for the car alone. I honestly cant give the my buying experience even one star...so I rate them 3 stars. 2.5 stars isnt an option.

Even though we ended up buying our Palisade elsewhere because of availability of color the Wife wanted . Louie R is the best salesman I have ever dealt with.. he worked for months for our business and truly deserved it . I will send my family/friends here first to louie before anywhere else.

Bought a brand new 2021 Santa Fe and after 2 weeks started having issues with the car making weird noise from the driver seat. Took it back to have it looked at and discovered the drive shift is faulty. They replaced that drive shift and about a week later I started to have the same issue with the car but now its alao vibrating alot. Took it back and they said there was an issue with the wheel alignment. So that was fix and about 2 weeks later its still vibrating and still having that same issue with the seat. I have this new car for 2 months now and I have had to go back to service to have them check on almost the same issue each time. I believethis new car falls into the lemon car category. Please some from management contact me and resolve this.I would like to note that the service team has been amazing and accommodating.

I scheduled a recall and the Service Department delivered excellence in every way. Nice and clean business environment, professional workers, kind, courteous, informative, communicative, and respectful service. After allowing me to choose I was escorted to my seating area. Then I immediately received a text letting me know how to get in touch with my contact person, via phone/text. At my request I was then shuttled, in style, to and from a restaurant of my choosing. At various times I was checked on and updated regarding my vehicle. Stivers Hyundai does service right.
