I will most likely never return there for an oil change as there was only 1 guy working. I arrived early for my appointment only to wait over an hour. The guy was very personable, friendly, and professional, however he needs some help especially on a Saturday.

Great service and timely repair.Leo was awesome. He kept me apprised throughout the morning as to the status of my vehicle and had it repaired in a timely manner. He also made recommendations, no hard sells, for future maintenance, so I can keep my car running well for years to come. I recommend and will be back.

A simple oil change and tire rotation took almost 2 hours. When they gave me the keys, I saw they had not rotated the tires. Another 20 minutes and the tires were rotated. As I left the low pressure tire warning light came on. Ugh! I had to put air in myself. Why have the checklist if you don’t use it?

Good service. A bit of a wait just to get an appointment. Thorough information about what was wrong and what they thought they could do to fix it with a clear understanding explain of necessity for repairs and reasonable time table. Got my car in and out for an oil change and tire rotation in roughly an hour.

I cant remember the guys name who works the front desk and phone but he was very kind. He explained things to me and didnt just say oh we serviced the car. Pick it up and pay me! I even left my windows down and checked to see if they could put them up before it rained. Already done! Much appreciated.

Having my car for over 6 hours, can’t believe they Left my break fluid cap sitting on the side of the engine… I drove for 5 hours, thankfully I went to check my engine oil and notice. they left my brake fluid cap off. No m concern what else they forgot to Screw back…

Ive several bad experiences at other meineke locations, but this one was different. Richard, the store manager, went above and beyond. He explained everything in great details for me. He instructed me with what I should be looking out for. I had an appointment scheduled with groupon and I did not have a long wait for the car either. I would highly recommend them and will be coming back.

Amazing! My wife treated me to aftermarket exhaust for my car working with Rich the manager to set up an appointment. Apparently, she called around to many shops and she said she was treated the best and had the most confidence in this location. After an appointment was set my parts arrived several days early and the area manager also named Rich told us to come in and they would take care of us. Not only did they squeeze us in, they charged less than originally thought and were so honest.I highly recommend them!!!! It is very clear they care for their customers and it shows. I would recommend them to anyone!

The general manager Richard- is the best part of this establishment. This was my second time meeting him and he never fails to go out of his way to people. The first time he went out of his way to help me find tires for my car. This time, while waiting for my oil change, I saw a young woman who came in asking for help with putting air in her tires. Richard just went out to help in the air- no charge. Just like that, a Good Samaritan.

Got the job done for a reasonable price.

Disappointed at the price of the service. Spent $1100 for brakes when I thought struts were included in the price. Was quoted one price and charged almost$400 over the quoted price. Paid more for the labor than the service. Will not be using them again for major repairs.

This review is for owners like myself who might be a bit precious about their cars and think they have to go to the dealer or to places specializing in German cars etc. but have tired of paying the super-premium prices and are looking around a bit. Is this you? Read on...Five years ago, I bought my Audi Q5 when it was 3 years old at a dealership. The brakes squeaked. I had the pads and rotors replaced. They still squeaked a bit. Couple of years ago, replaced the pads again, still squeaked. Multiple times I mentioned this to the dealer, both under warranty the car is operating to Audi specs is what I was told then, and out of warranty well replace pads that will correct it it didnt. Last time at the dealership I was told I needed 4 new pads and rotors, a new battery, and it would be upwards of $1500. This was after more than one incident of them telling me I had a nail in the tire and needed a new tire (couldnt be fixed) and then telling me they couldnt show me the tire because it had already been recycled. Once, yes, I believed them, more than once, and when Ive specifically asked to see it, nope, they lost my trust.So I read reviews (and I mean I spent days reading reviews in and around Columbia and Silver Spring, did I mention Im a bit precious about my car?)I chose Meineke. Wow! I spoke to Rich on the phone and brought it in same day. He told me exactly what was making the brakes squeak and how to correct it. Moreover, he told me I didnt need the back ones done yet (contrary to the dealership). He got the job done extremely quickly - took it in late one afternoon, ready first thing the next morning). The price was highly competitive (I had called around before I chose Meineke) but the most important thing is, for the first time since Ive owned the vehicle, the brakes dont squeak any more. Rich knows everything about cars and has a much more realistic view than the dealer. My husband always takes his aging Lexus RX 350 to Jiffylube. Not any more! Rich was able to tell me things about the servicing of my car I didnt know (and Im a member of various Audi forums).Bottom line of this review, if youre nervous about switching auto-repair shops but youre ready to move, move to Meineke ~ speak to Rich (read the many, many reviews below this one about how kind, patient, knowledgable he is, how he doesnt upsell you, how his customer service is second to none). You get your repair done speedily and well and for a good price. Your car is in good hands. This is from a chump whose been using and paying dealer prices because dealers put about that you need their specialist services for cars like Audis. Here to say you dont.

Rich the manager was very professional, friendly and thorough in his explanation of the recommended brake service after my car was inspected. He gave me a hands on tutorial of what my car was experiencing and why new rear rotors, pads and shoes were required... I also got a needed oil change. My car was ready in under 2 hours and felt brand new after I drove away! Thanks to Rich and his team at Meineke in Columbia, MD!

Tire rotation was not done and luckily I brought it to their attention before leaving. Then they only rotated the right side tires given that it was the only side I could see from inside the office. Figured it out after I left and noticed the tire pressure was the same on the left side tires. If you’re looking for an honest shop, this isn’t it.

Charge me double for labor replaceing my axle broke the ring taking it off which triggered my ABS so i paid for the part and thats when they charged me again for labor could of at least half price labor the second time cause my ABS was fine until they replaced my axle

Stellar service EVERY TIME from the manager Rich and his team...he is honest, helpful and offers competitive prices!Hes a good sport as well! I will admit I ask him 10,000 questions while Im trying to make a decision about tires and what not. He is always super patient, takes the time to explain everything and has taught me a lot.A few examples....My mom drove me to the shop to pick up my car and on the way something hit her car and was flapping around. I told Rich and without hesitation he came out, looked at her car to make sure it was driveable and put a temporary patch on it. I also had to replace my side mirror and once again he went above and beyond, calling a bunch of places trying to help me find a white Acura rdx side mirror (which is very rare apparently). When I expected to pay $2k to get it installed, he called me with an affordable price and got me in right away.I would recommend Meineke in Columbia to my family and friends without hesitation.

Mechanic was very friendly and detailed every step of the process. My appointment was at 0800. My service started at 0830 and was completed at 0904. My AC wasn’t working; compressor wasn’t plugged/connected to the engine. I had previous work done by Ford in Jan 2020 by getting a brand new engine put into my 2017 suv. I would use Meinke again in the future because of their low cost and being fast and efficient.

I brought my 2011 Nissan Versa there yesterday for exhaust repair at 8am and by 3pm everything was done. Rich called me and gave me all my options and prices, which I appreciated. Rich is extremely knowledgeable about cars and I really liked how we could have an in depth conversation about what was going on with mine.We found out that not only had several spark plugs in my car failed, but also an ignition coil, the spark plug wires, and as a result, the catalytic converter was covered in soot from unburned fuel. They replaced only the parts that had to be replaced and they did so with reasonable pricing. My Subaru Legacy 08 can now drive at highway speeds once again. I appreciated how they called me as soon as they could and could order OEM/ direct fit parts to have them delivered the same day, sometimes within 30 minutes of placing an order. These guys go above and beyond for their customers and it is appreciated.

Dropped off my car to get my oil change, tune up and others. I had to go to do some errands and the staff communicated with me about the status of the car and the timing to get ready to pick up the car. Great staff and price are reasonable. They will give you a head up and sometime they do Groupon to give you some discounts. Easy to work with. I’ll go again another time.

WORSE SERVICE EVER or LACK THEREOF. On 5/23, I went for an oil change and requested a brake inspection because there was a squeaking noise when the brake is applied. I was made aware that its included when I get the oil change. The following day I was driving to Florida when the sound got worse almost sounded like thunder when brake was applied. By the grace of God I made it to a tire plus and got it re- inspected. Well unfortunately for me, the brake pads were worn out and damaged the rotors, which cost over a thousand dollars to have them all replaced.If Meineke provided the service I asked for this would have not happened. Not only did they jeopardize my life by me driving an unsafe vehicle, they risked the lives of other motorists on the road. THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!! Will never return to this place. If you love your life, take your vehicle elsewhere!!

These guys have been my go-to for a couple years now. Though I am no longer a Columbia resident, I still make a point to come to this Meineke center because everyone here does good, honest work. I want to thank Rich for being so helpful at every turn, he’s a great guy. They are the neighborhood car center that everyone wants and few get.

Rich is probably one of the most down-to-earth mechanics I have ever met. He is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, he seems to genuinely care about the quality of service and addressing problems that arise.I have had many problems with a 2006 Toyota Corolla, mainly the fuel pump. I could not more highly recommend the care and service here.

First time coming here and they lied about pricing. Started to order parts without telling me turning the job into a hour plus. Which means more money paid out so $65 turned into a $135 I had to ask whats going on because I wasnt told.. Theyre well spoken but not upfront.
