It is a shame that yet another Kmart is now closed....I enjoyed shopping at this one. I have always liked the Joe Boxer line of clothing and the fact that Kmart offers year round layaway....I do want to say that the store manager Rich Hunsinger is one of the nicest folks you would ever want to meet.

They are going out of business and i understand why! Even with their percentage off, the prices are still high. I was shocked at all the people waiting to check out. Absolutely ridiculous. Go to target or wherever and you will pay a cheaper price than KMart. Do they jack their prices up when they go out of business? Makes you wonder

Always nice to shop here. It’s a sad occasion to see it going out of business. It really stresses the importance of supporting local stores so we are not so dependent on any single monopoly like Amazon.

This place was completely empty. I got two Christmas sweaters for 12 dollars though.

Growing up, K-Mart was an awesome place. Now its like going to a rummage sale. Complete disorganization.

It is not the same as it once was but we are glad to have this store nearby. Hopefully it will make a comeback. Also our cashier Liz is very helpful and friendly!

Had to return an item and the poor customer service center employee was by himself. He tried getting staff to help but he joked around with myself and my wife until we finally got the transaction finished. Some people behind us were upset but there was nothing he could do but be patient as well. I wish I remembered his name because he deserves a raise and a promotion! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the help he asked for took their good old time doing their job.

Used to be a good place. Now nothing on the shelves. And only one person on the registers. They dont have half the stuff they used to.

For convenience this store is great. Like any big Mart they have a varied selection of items, typically cheap and second-rate quality. Checkout is usually the worst part as theres seldom more than one register open and Kmart as a company has overcomplicated the payment process.

I found what I was looking for, and, because the store is not crowded, I could look through ladies nightclothes and underwear comfortably.

This store is really big I usually get turned around a few times when I shop there and end up spending a few more hours in the store than I had originally planned to if you know what I mean. This is not like the Sears Robucks catlog that we used to have when the missus would take care of ordering everything.

Great store l have always gone to for small appliances. Friendly staff eager to help you find anything you need. Selection of men and womans as well as childrens clothing.Nice selection of shoes. There are T.V. and electronic departments. Toys and sports equiptment. Pharmacy available with helpful staff. Everything from food stuffs to cosmetics and health and beauty products .Large free parking lot with handicap parking and entrance with handicap bathroom and stalls. Wheelchair accessible.

I absolutely love their Pharmacy team. Very friendly, and fast only wait 10-15 mins for my scripts to be filled!! They go above and beyond to help their customers.

Store closing, great deals!

Closing down. Only 15 or 20 percent . Alot of shelves were empty looks like Kmart took all the stuff out . Very disappointing.

Store is closed permanently. There is a Kmart in Willow Street still, but they are closing slowly. They might disappear like Clover, Woolworth or ToysRUS.

Horrible customer service. very understaffed even for a slow Sunday. Was looking to buy a nice headphone set . it was like one of the only two items with a security lock. no employees around finally went to Cashier at front of store. she called someone to get it unlocked. waited 20 minutes and then left when no one had shown up. this is ridiculous. never wasting anymore money at this store.edit: I ended up having to stop by months later because I was in desperate straights for a particular item which their website said they had in stock, the next closest place was almost an hour away. Needless to say I would have spent my time better driving that hour since their website was bill and they didnt have the right item after all. I tried to be fair and give them another shot. That was a mistake. do yourself a favor and avoid this store. Also dont trust their online information since most of it is dated or incorrect.

I shop here a lot because I am layawayer. I will say that the employees at this store have helped me every time I asked, there is a lady named Tami there that has helped me several times I think she is the Asst. Manager. Several cashiers have provided great customer service to me as well. I will keep going back.

Went in, got what I needed and left. No lines, no crowd. Please do not use the foul Amazon. They do not stand for America.

No one answers the phone. long lines at cashier because 1 or 2 open at a time. Store dirty. Never any sani -wipes available when you enter. They are always empty.

Columbia Kmart is terrible. Only ever one register open. There is always staff walking around, but never opening other check out lines. Also, the childrens clothing department has 99% girls clothes and 1% boys. The selection of baby boy clothes is embarrassing.

Shopping at Kmart is absolutely the most horrible store to shop in. Theres no one in the floor to help you. The selection of clothes is crappy. Waiting in line takes forever. The lady behind me Did nothing but complain too. The only way to make it better is to close the doors & turn it into a Walmart.. The only reason I gave it a star is because it wouldnt let me post if I didnt. Definitely doesnt deserve that.

Its Kmart. Most of them have seen better days, but it is ok when you need something and the store is nearby. Im most annoyed by the gimmicky miles of receipts, solicitations to donate to charity, and the slow and crusty pizza place inside.

When a person calls for a price check the person on the other end says they are busy. I thought customers are a priority!!

Alot of bargains. Friendly staff. Plenty of cashiers so didnt have to wait in line more than a few minutes.

They closed the York store. I thought, being a little more suburban, the Columbia store might be nicer but I was wrong. Merchandise looked like it had been thrown on the shelves. Items were mislabeled, aisles were cramped. All in all, I really miss the York store.

Worst Kmart experience I’ve ever had. Literally stood in line for 20 minutes. 3 people ahead of me each had some sort of issue with their items ringing up incorrectly in which the cashier to had to call the manager over which took 5 minutes every time. Sunday middle of the day only 2 cashiers. Each line had at least 7 people in it.

Columbia Kmart is a very nice store, store personnel are friendly and helpful.

No reason for this to be open anymore with the extreme lack of inventory.

Sad to see the Kmart go downhill. The had only 2 cashiers on a Saturday, line took me 25 minutes. And it would have been longer except some people in front of me got tired of waiting and left.

Be careful when you use a gift card there when we were at layaway to put a swingset on layaway we were using our gift cards I knew one had 30.00 on it but the guy said there wasnt anything on it and threw it in the trash he said the other had 17.00 which I know was right..I told him there should be 30.00 on the one he threw away and that I wanted the card from the trash he said let me try it again and guess what..it had 30.00 on it so make sure you keep those gift cards cause you just never know...

Great place to go shopping

Only one checkout lane open - the line had at least 6 people waiting. The cashier yelled meanly customer service is a full service checkout! After we had waited 15 minutes in line. Understaffed and dirty. Cheap prices, for cheap quality stuff. We bought spring water that was disgusting and tasted like it had sat in the sun for a few days. What used to be little Caesars pizza is now an empty shelving unit with a tarp in front of it.

Store is clean and organized. However, the selection and choices are scarce.
