I took my 93-year-old mother in for her eye check. Everyone was so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They took the extra time with her to explain what they were doing when administering the tests. The optometrist answered all of our questions and explained the signs of problems we should be alert and return immediately if they occurred. She also recommended a different eye drop which would be much more comfortable for Moms eyes. I highly recommend Copeland Eyecare for their thorough, comprehensive, state of the art care as well as their kindness.

Our family has followed this company when it was Ellingson to now Copeland. Great staff. They work wonderful with special needs kids also.

Honestly the best eye appointment that I have ever had. Everything ran smoothly, the staff were pleasant, and the doctor had amazing (word that would be the equivalent of bedside manner). I felt very comfortable asking questions and was given very informative responses. Very glad that I looked at reviews and came here! :)

Dr. Copeland was fantastic from start to finish. He did a great job explaining everything to me so I could understand it and the office is set up to be much more tech savvy and data driven than any other eye clinic I’ve been too. I was amazed at the information they gathered about my eyes and eye health. The other staff was also fantastic and walked me through everything from what each of the machines was looking at, to breaking down what my insurance covered and didn’t cover so that I could get the best deal. Everybody was also very friendly and helpful with any questions I had.

My wife and I are repeat customers. Jenn helps us find what’s the best fit, colors and price. I feel she has our best interests in mind. Jenn is the best!!

The one good thing about this place was the optometrist was knowledgeable and friendly. I arrived to my appointment 10 minutes early so I could look at frames ahead of time. The door was locked and a rep came to the door to say they weren’t opening up until my appointment time. I then stood outside the door in the cold and rain for 10 minutes while the employees watched me shiver and played solitaire on their computers. When they finally opened up the secretary at the front desk was rude and made me feel judged and uncomfortable.

The facility is clean and well organized. The staff is professional and incredibly nice.

I ordered a year supply of contacts. When I went to pick them up I was only given 48 weeks worth. The lady I ordered from tried to tell me that was a year supply and couldn’t understand that there are 52 weeks in a year. I felt ripped off. This is a deceptive business practice. I will not be ordering contacts from this place again.

The staff was wonderful and answered all my questions. They were very helpful in helping me pick out my frames and lenses. Honestly, Ive never laughed that much buying new glasses, and it was an incredibly charming experience.

I had a great experience. The staff was so kind and friendly. I do wish that they had informed me that the retinal scan was not part of the exam and that it was an additional charge instead of just doing it and then charging me for it.

I would give this zero stars if I could. Purchased a pair of glasses here and within two hours of making the purchase I called requesting to cancel the order after changing my mind.Instead of making things right, the manager belittled me and said that I signed a form that revoked me to be able to receive a refund. After receiving a copy of the form, it was clear that I did NOT sign the part where it says about no refunds. So his entire case around me agreeing and signing is completely voided because I never signed anything or was told before purchasing about this policy.Regardless of me signing something or not/policy, the way this manager spoke to me was absolutely appalling. I’m honestly still in shock that he thought he could speak to a customer (human for that matter) the way he did. I am also disappointed and frustrated that I am now locked into a pair of glasses I no longer want nor have even received yet (glasses won’t even be “in” for another 3 weeks).

They do not make an effort to keep the client... I guess they dont care as she said we have so many patients I just needed my glasses to be adjusted..so mad, waist of my time. They do not care.

The service was good. They answered my questions promptly and gave me the info I asked for. My 3 Star rating is due to the pricing. I checked with a few other retail locations in the area and was able to find the same glasses at a much more fair price. If you need glasses and don’t mind just paying what they ask then they can get you taken care of pretty easy, but in this tech driven world we live in this is not the establishment for an educated consumer.

The testing and visit with the optometrist was very professional. However the administration check in is flawed, they dont handle overbooking appointments very well. I waited over 20 minutes past my appointment time to get in, my spouse had to wait over 40 minutes and ended up walking out totally frustrated. It appears that someone walked in early for their appointment got in before us they let them in and pushed everyone else back.

In the past I have always purchased my eyeglasses from the doctor’s office as I thought retail stores would not be as good at filling the correct prescription but boy was I wrong. My wife & I have now purchased 6 pair of eyeglasses at this location and are extremely pleased. The store manager Jenn is a tremendous asset to the store. Not only is she extremely helpful but really cares about her customers

I would recommend this place. Some good quality low price frames are available here. The best part is, you may get your prescription glasses done on the same day. Staff is really helpful and know what they are doing.

I have used a number of different optometrists for filling my glasses prescription. Ive never had one as understanding and helpful as this one, Maybe it is just this location or really good management. They just make me smile because I am probably a difficult customer, and yet they continue to be so helpful.

Dr. Copeland was fantastic. Scheduling the exam was easy. I felt very welcome when I showed up for the appointment. Dr. Copeland answered a lot of questions I had and afterwards, I found a great new pair of glasses that I love. I recommend scheduling here for eye care.

I would highly recommend this place. The doctors and staff inform me of all details and answered all questions that I had. The doctors made it real easy and comfortable to be around and had great attitude. You can tell they took real pride in what he does.

I would highly recommend Pearle Vision in Coralville Mall, in Iowa City. Dr. Robert Kingus was excellent-thorough, knowledgeable, informative, and kind. I felt well informed and appreciated his in depth information about the Optomap. Priceless information! The staff was wonderful, and Joans expertise, helped me choose the perfect glasses for me!

The Dr here straight lied to both myself and my wife on two separate occasions. I was told my retina was detaching and that I needed him to perform some procedure for that. I told him I wanted a 2nd opinion. I saw two other eye doctors and both said my eyes were perfectly healthy. In the meantime, he submitted my paperwork to my health insurance rather than my eye insurance due to the health concerns associated with the retina detachment, I had to go in in person showing results from the other drs to convince them to refund my insurance. While this was all going on,he told my wife she had a bubble in her eye that needed to be surgically removed and charged her an additional $100 for her exam because he had to use specialized equipment to avoid popping the bubble. My wife also got a 2nd and 3rd opinion and was told her eyes are fine. Glasses are way over priced and cheap. Find someone else.

Quite disappointed in this office now. I had great expierences in the past up until now. I was instructed by the eye doctor that I did not need a follow up for my contacts seeing as Ive been wearing them for 10+ years, to just give a call to the office to get the perscriotion if they worked. Which they did, so I called the office today and got a whole speal of how this is similar to pain pills and they cant just be handing out eye prescriptions. No resolution was reached, and he was telling me how I probably wont be able to wear contacts. So sad, because I loved this office. Will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.
