Two bad experiences with this location. First time I rented a truck which was literally on empty. Second time doing business here I bought a hitch for my car. They make you prepay for the part and service, wait a few weeks for delivery and make an appointment to install it. They lost the hitch. Meaning, they installed in on someone elses car, the hitch I paid for. Now I start the whole process over, no discount of course. Also, wait times are crazy long. I spent 40 minutes waiting to learn they lost my hitch.

Luis, the guy in charge, since apparently no manager was here, is the absolute worst!I have a guaranteed reservation at this site (even did the online check-in), I show up for my pick up my trailer and not only do they tell me they dont have it... they even tell me they moved my reservation 1hr round trip further out of my way!!NO ONE CALLED ME to tell me this and Luis deflected all responsibility and refused to help me.Please please please avoid this place!!And whatever you do, ask for someone else if you have Luis helping you.

Horrible place....reserved a trailer and a refrigerator dolly....went to go pick up my reservation and they tell me all the dollys are rented out. Tell me what is the point of making a reservation when you dont hold reservations.

The epitome of laziness and disregard for customer service and basic decency. Juan, the manager, was arrogant and dismissive when I expressed my dissatisfaction about having to change my own personal schedule three times over the week, all in an attempt to complete a basic task (installing a hitch). I requested appointments over the phone, which were confirmed by a helpful employee, only to be turned away and, in my last effort mocked, when I showed up for said appointments. Mechanics were visibly unoccupied. Past experiences with other U-Haul locations have been adequate to pleasant. Do yourself a favor and avoid this location.

We made a reservation for a truck from this facility only to receive a notice of cancellation upon our arrival with their reason being that they had overbooked the trucks. People who are moving have a timeline to stick to. We should have been notified sooner. While their model likely ensures all of their trucks are utilized on a given day, it is disrespectful and disregarding of their customers and shifts the costs of scheduling a truck from a different service at the last minute to the customer. Save yourself a lot of stress and take your business elsewhere.

Was going to give them 5 stars but they got 4 because of incorrect info they gave me. I could have gotten it sooner but I had to wait till 3pm, now I have to work double time to get stuff done.. Be sure to call ahead, all trucks gets rented out quick...

I’ve made 2 separate reservations for different dates for 6’x 12’ trailers. Both times when I went in to pick up on my reservation date and both times they didn’t have any available.

Customer service 4 stars. Truck 4 1/2 stars. Overall everything good. Used them 3 times before. Good everytime.

Rip off artists, they are out to take your money by what ever means they can. Be mindful of your return. That’s where they try to get you. Not a fan of this Uhaul.

This U-Haul is the absolute worst in the IE. I rented a trailer from them on Saturday the 29th and gave Cash deposit. Today on the 3rd I reserved the same trailer for all day. The facility not only gave the trailer away but didnt have my cash deposit from Saturday saying the issued a check. I was repeatedly told I could come anytime this week and pick my cash up. Now I dont have my deposit and have to locate another trailer for today. The manager Juan is useless was told to call his cell he never answers and they dont know corporates number.

Don’t waste your time here. I called this AM to verify that they were selling propane. They assured me that they were. Got here at 10:15am and unloaded 5 propane tanks and carried them to their tank and pushed customer call button and waited, and waited. Nothing. Went inside their office and their was eight customers in line. The people standing in line had NOT seen anyone there! Finally I opened up the DO NOT OPEN door to the warehouse area and shouted “anyone here” then I got a “wait a minute” so I went back outside to wait by the propane. Nothing. Finally a lady came out and I’m broken English said for me to wait because no one was there!! I drove 5 miles to this place to completely waste my time. I WOULD PAY TO give them a LOWER RATING.

I rented a uhaul truck from this location about 1 month ago and the customer service/experience was very poor.My rental was paid for using my >>Bank Of America Debit Card

Lady at that location are no help at all. OMG I cant emphasize how ignorant they are at their job. Simple task to check reservations to make sure they have the product. Make me lose my time after taking the time to check that they did have what I need in the corona location (5 min hold) so I can get there for them to say. Oh we meant at 5.45pm. Really... I specifically said pick up now. Never making business with this location ever again!

To be honest this place would get 0 stars from me...waited forever in a long line just to purchase moving boxes!!!! When I first arrived there was no one at the counter!!! Finally when an employee did arrive... he took forever....this place was under employed on a Friday...

Great service. Need a motorcycle trailer. They had one the next day. The staff was more then helpful hooking me up with the proper hitch and matching ball. Thier tech went out of his way to help load my gold wing and ensured I had it properly tied down. Unfortunately in this world of our customer service has gone to pot, but these folks were very knowledgeable and helpful. I will be more then happy to recommend them to my friends.

I can only say great things about this company. There was a small mix up with an item that I had reserved. We were getting ready for a major move, and we really needed the item that we had requested. I must say I was very impressed with the Assistant Manager her name is Sherie Alvarez. She went above and beyond my expectations to fix the problem that had occurred. It normally takes a lot for me to leave reviews because great customer service is so hard to find. I must say when I experience great service like this I definitely like to make sure to let everyone know about it. Ms Sherie Alvarez is doing an exceptional job here at U-Haul Corona 6th Street . If you work with this company you will definitely be impressed...GREAT JOB...

I worked for Uhaul for many years. I understand how many stores do their thing. I respect it. But you know... sometimes the cute chick needs to get up from behind the counter n do work. No disrespect.

Wow. Where do I begin? Couldn’t even get a simple quote from this location, have rented many, many times in the past and now the customer service is horrible. Tanya the Manager should have the decency to resign in life. She is a missable human being.

Quickly in and out and the same checking back in. Staff was very helpful. Truck was clean and well maintained.

Was lied to about the availability of a truck so they could upcharge me. Also gave me a super hard to time when trying to pay. Decided to go to a different company to rent a truck.

Went in to rent a truck at 10 AM. There was 6 people in line waiting and the cashier was outside. It took 45 minutes to get the truck. When returning the truck there was no one in line but the cashier was on the phone as we sat there for 20 minutes. So I go ask the guy outside if he can help get us checked out while he was chilling on his phone and he said the lady inside can help you. Go back inside she is still on the phone. Then she calls the guy outside on the walkie talkie to come inside and help us. He comes in taking his time of course asking how can he help us after I told him outside that we were returning a truck that I pulled up in. After he went outside and checked everything we were done in less than a minute. If you have plenty of time to waist come here but if you actually have things to do in a timely manner go to a different location as this one sucks. Also the customer the cashier was on the phone with needed a truck and they didnt have any so she was looking for one at another location instead of putting them on hold and getting the customers that were there out the door. When we left she was still on the phone.

I had to change my move date because the first location would not confirm or answer my attempts to confirm. I arrive at different location only to be redirected to a different address. I called 1800 uhaul to file a dispute. When I filed the dispute over the phone the operator apologized and told me a manager would be calling me to help make an adjustment to the rate. Manager just called me he made up every excuse. Basically called me a liar and totally disregarded any of the complaint filed. We will Never do business with uhaul again.

Reserved a motorcycle trailer to haul my gold wing with my new truck. The staff helped with my receiver and a new hitch and ball. Took Thier time to help me secure my bike on the trailer and answered all my concerns. Needless to say o have a enjoyable and safe trip. Thanks guys!

Dont bother coming here look elsewhere your better off going alittle further and get better service the only cool person there was the girl i believe her name is Stephanie she very cool nice friendly give her a raise! everyone else horrible not sure if the guy there was racist or if he is that slow i wanted to like this place but after my last experience never again.

Great U-haul location to rent from! Also has a ton of moving and packing supplies for sale! Huge parking lot, and plenty of room to maneuver any size truck and/or trailer! Propane is available too!

Paid a deposit for a hitch, around the 6th, said it would be there the 13th of September, went, nothing, said they would call, 5 times, bummer about it is I am an attorney, this is not going to go noticed, raising cane with Corporate tomorrow, today is the 17th, 3 times I was promised to get a call back today, lets get ready to rumble. lets see who laughs last

Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else. This place is a nightmare. Tried to do everything possible to assure move day went smooth, it was one thing after another, then they lied about he drip off and it became worse at the end. The manager us a jerk and the counter service was ridiculous. Go somewhere else. Wish we read the reviews first because it is clear this is not an isolated issue. If you report matters to regional it kicks back to the store. What nonsense. Never again.

Had appointment to rent tow dolly. Person that helped condemned the parking lamps as being to dim. This was 11am parking lamps will not be very bright when sun on them. Dolly had other issues. She wanted to blame my tow vehicle but was fine was in equipment. They had no other dolly available. I had to speak with customer service myself to make arrangements for new dolly. Could not get one same day within 40 miles. Came back next day. Same person helps me. Allows me to leave with equipment knowing the right blinker not working. She also did no attach the safety chains from dolly to tow vehicle. Would not come back to location. Unprofessional and careless. Safety chains not connected potential for disaster

Allot of small vehicles in the parking lot for rent and they try to give you the bigger ones saying the small ones arent avaliable then I have to smell cigarrets all the drive because they dint clean the drawers close to the hold cup 🤔i wont come back to this company again

A friend of mine tried to rent a truck here today but we were ultimately denied service by the manager. My friend needed to use cash but they wanted a credit card to complete the transaction so I volunteered my card. I called the number listed on the Google search for Corona and gave the woman all my info; she gave me a reservation number and told me my friend would be able to walk right in and get the truck immediately. My friend called me and told me that I had to drive there to physically run my card; I asked to speak to the person requesting my presence. This person confirmed that I still needed to come in. So I did. As you might imagine I was not in a happy frame of mind when I hit their door and requested to speak to the manager before I even got to the counter. Turns out the managers customer service skills got in the way of our transaction. After I gave him a piece of my mind for making me interrupt my busy day, telling him that Amazon doesnt make my drive there to run my card in person, and handing him my credit card and D.L. he requested my cell phone number which I refused to give him though I volunteered my home phone number. At that point it all went south: since I wouldnt give him my cell # he decided not to rent to us at all. Does he only give people without credit cards a hard time, because he can, or is it because I am a senior woman or what?

Every time I go there to get propane, no one want to come outside to fill up my tank. When I go inside & tell them that can any one can fill up my propane, seems like they don’t need any business no response we will be there wait half hour still nobody there

The cargo van functions well, but its absolutely 100% clear that these uhaul cheapskates do not clean the vehicle interiors.

Cheap motorcycle trailers for rent. Also, refill your propane tasks here instead of switching it out for a full one. Way cheaper to just refill

The staff charged us for fuel even though the truck we rented was filled back to the starting level. When I tried contacting this location they never called back and every employee I spoke with gave me the run around saying a manager would have to address this. Whrn I asked to speak with a manager, there was never one available.

I made a reservation earlier in the week and received an email confirming my reservation. Only to receive a phone call the night before from U-Haul stating they could no longer accommodate the reservation. All my moving plans are now affected because they decide to change everything the night before. Making a reservation with U-Haul is pointless!!! It means nothing to them. Never doing business with this company again and I will spread the word to all my family and friends. Disgusting business practice!!!!

Very unclear and very unprofessional I got a quote for $329 out the door price to rent a car dolly and when I arrived they told me it was going to be 347$. Me being the gullible person that I am trusted that it would only be $329 when I arrived. But it was not and I did not have enough cash to cover it or enough on my credit card to cover it and they dont accept half and half payments. This misconception or confusion between the company and me cause me to lose a job, making good money... thanks alot u haul, never going to do business with a company that lies, so looks like thats the last time i give your company business.

Worse place ever. They have homeless people sleeping in the vans . uhaul are broken down and smelly. Told the clerk about my uhaul having engine clicking noises they told me thats fine. 20 min later uhaul died on me. They tried to give me 10 miles compensation for my trouble. Had to call branch manager to fix this problemFind somewhere else

They are crook and scandalous people,,, they dont check off everything damaged on the truck so when you bring it back they. Harge you for it even though you bought insurance which should cover anything and everything but they will find a way to slap you with a 150 to 200 dollars on top and you can take it to high hell they will not do anything to fix the problem,, these guys are ripoffs dont deal with them go find another authorized dealer ..

The service here is great the reservations really do work not only do you go in and rent a vehicle but the prices on the propane for your gas burner is just awesome so I decided to get a tank of property and also check out the the heavy size dollies to carry the grade for caring all different sizes the management is on the tiles every day and they help you to get your rental on time

Being in the military, I have used uhaul all over the nation, from Maryland to North Carolina, Tennessee and California. I have to post this review because of the terrible service that I had here. The majority of the employees at this location are rude and unprofessional. I heard one employee say to another over their radios, after being asked to help me out, I just work here, as well as cursing nonstop. He didnt care about helping me out. I will be taking my services to another uhaul location and if you are reading this I suggest you do the same.

I was in and out fast but I thought i was gonna die in the truck. Very shakey and not clean at all. Price was good and service was ok but I would try a diffeernt uhaul next time because of the truck.

They wasted my time, having me wait 2 hours to just open my car, figure out how things work to install a hitch receiver for Thule bike rack, then they realized that “fudge” they have ordered a wrong hitch !! Very disappointed; they are very disorganized. I will not go back to install a bike rack there !!!
