In my opinion this one of the best auto repair shops in Corpus Christi. I stumbled on them in the late 90s when I had a little exhaust leak. I STILL use them and so does my whole family. My dad, brother and his wife. Now, the arent cheap or expensive, somewhere in between but they stand by their work and do quality work every time. I highly recommend this shop.

Requires inspection for everything before giving price quote even if you know whats wrong and already had it inspected. Useless when trying to price hunt. EDIT: the comment below from the owner confirms what I stated and they charge you for the diagnosis again even if you already know what needs to be fixed.

Only place I go for all auto work. They are mountains above any other place Ive been in Corpus. They are the place you go when other places are ripping you off to get honest work

I took my vehicle to them because they were recommended by the transmission place I went when I thought I had transmission issues. Jaime the mechanic who helped me was great, friendly and was able to fix my car. He answered all my questions and explained what needed to be done and was quick to fix my car.

Im a retired mechanic and hate working on my vehicles. My wife had used them in the past on her car and decided why not. I was very impressed with the service reps and the service mechanic on how they were able to repair it so quickly. It was towed in on Wednesday knowing that it would be Monday before they start on it and by the next day it was done. Thanks for getting it done.

These people claim to be christian and even have the music playing christian music. My grandmother had been there before and asked for air in her tire because it was going low. They refused her saying we dont air tires up. She had to call a tow truck and get the car towed because the tire had torn to shreds. Sheeps in wolves clothing is what they are. They have no values what so ever especially when it comes to the elderly. I am forced to give you a star because there is no down 👎 so I give you a 👎for not being christian at heart when you need to help your fellow man. You reap what you sow. Oh and another thing just because you have someone on another line does not mean you can not make eye contact. If you know how to multi task then you can make eye contact. If not hire someone who can. Hire some kind of service writer that dedicates their time to customers. Customer service. And dont forget, you are the customer not the other way around. Because if not for your bosses that pay every day they go through there. You would not have a job.

This is the only fix it shop as far as me and my entire family are concerned, If Jaime cant fix then scrap it or set fire to it.The staff there are all wonderful people,absolutely salt of the earth. Lupe and Jaime are the two individuals that have worked on all my vehicles and they make them brand new again. They take the time to explain anything that they did to your vehicle and are always available to answer questions on phone or in person,if you leave that shop unaware of what was done,then you just didnt listen or cant hear.Pro Automotive isnt just my fix it shop they are my family. I thank you and speak for my family when I say it.

They did a break job for me, and even though the service was good, when I got my truck back I noticed that my rim had some scratches on it .

Brought my truck in for several services prior to having to ship it overseas. The service was prompt and recieved a great inspection summary via email with pictures prior to them starting repairs. Having worked in a auto repair shop in the past, I was very satisfied with the service and the estimate was on spot with what I expected in my experience. Fair and honest repair shops can be hard to find but Pro Automotive is the place to go. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for good service at a fair price!

There are only 2 mechanic shops in town I can fully trust, this is one of them. Jamie is awesome, great at diagnostics and meticulous on his work. I send everyone I know to them confident they will get great work done.

Sorry pro auto unsatisfied with your work.the fact is we took our vehicle in for coolant leak,3 visits 2 water pumps later and vehicle still has coolant leak.Because it is an inconvenience to continue wasting our time at your shop,we will try another shop.You tried but fell way short and we are out of $600.00 u live and learn,we did.After consulting with Jaime about this problem we were asked to bring in Camaro so they could work on water pump,we are pleased to write that pro auto did a great job and repaired water leak.Thank you pro auto and Jaime great job..Thanks again

Paul (owner) and Jamie ( service manager) are great, honest men. I have taken our cars and truck there multiple times. Ive always been treated well. They also do state inspections on cars, trucks, motorcycles, and trailers in the morning M-F.I also appreciate they play Christian radio in their shop.

I have been going to this place for my inspections for a couple of years and I am always treated with respect. They are fast and reliable.

I have gotten my inspection from this place on several occasions and have had the same bad experience. I go to them because they are quick, convenient, and their lobby is clean, but the people are not friendly on all occasions I had gone but this last time was the last straw. First the dont get up to tell you hi or ask you what you need. The owner just spoke from where he was sitting. The man then did my inspection in a quick matter (which was great) but then he gave me the price and when he gave me my change he threw it on the table in front of me and didnt even hand me my paperwork. Very disappointing, this place has great potential but disappointing that they say they are Christians and act like that. I always tell them to have a good day but dont get the same. Place has great potential but if you want a friendly encounter then this is not a place to go.

The vehicle inspector at this location is a joke. He told me my vehicle couldnt pass inspection because it doesnt have a catalytic converter. It has TWO. Intact. Right where they should be. When I tried explaining this to him, he stared at me like I was stupid, and replied with, Well, I dont know what youve done to your vehicle. (Nothing, for the record). When I asked him to show me what he was referring to, he man-splained that he couldnt because the area of concern is on the underside of the vehicle. No duh. I know exactly where the catalytic converters are. I have worked around them personally. I had no problem passing my vehicle inspection at a different location. How could I trust this place to take care of any sort of mechanical issue if they cant recognize a catalytic converter?

We have used Pro Automotive for inspections and various repairs. I was able to make an appointment to make it quick and easy. Good shop, nice people.

Tried to get simple information but talked to a really rude man on the phone. Never went to the poor interaction over the phone.

I showed up at 1:05pm to get a state inspection for my vehicle. After waiting for the manager to get off the phone, at least 3 minutes, I was told that they only do inspections from 8am - 1pm.Sorry to have troubled you to try and give you some business. Dont worry, I wont make that mistake in the future.
