Poor communication, not transparent on the cost of work. Poor construction of the home, a lot of mistakes on the building of the home. Like it was just slapped together, without proper quality assurance on the job the were doing. Make sure you subcontract the electrical, water, septic and skirting. Dont go with their contractor, they will over charge you by $10,000. Thats about it.

We bought one six months ago. Have replaced all flooring since the original had tears and had paint, etc on it. All counter tops are being replaced and bar was actually placed crooked in the middle of the room. Having the entire house re-textured and painted due to several areas missing texture or gouges in the Sheetrock plus overall sloppy painting. Defective shower base installed at factory and a lot of spackling used to cover it up. None of the corners are mitered correctly and again tons of spackling used to cover and then was smeared everywhere on all woodwork and doors. Oak Creek technician came out and repaired as much as he could with the supplies that he had so we were thankful for that at least. Overall shoddy work at the factory and no inspection before it was delivered. The model we were shown definitely did not look like this. This one will be fine once we have everything re-done correctly. But do not recommend Oak Creek Homes. The one star is for the technician.

My wife and I were looking at homes and found oak creek as the best that fit our needs. We were so fortunate to have Brenda as our sales person. She took the time to show us beautiful houses and explained many great features of all the houses and helped us pick out the perfect house for us. She was so helpful for answering all of our questions, help filling out paper work and guiding us through the whole process. I would highly recommend to anybody looking for homes.

Compared to the other ones on the same street, these homes look like they are better quality for a better price. Mr. Billy Mcdonald provided great customer service.

This is my first adventure with a modular home and Brenda answered All my questions, relieving me of a lot of “stress” I had today and moving forward with this project. We had such a great experience at Oak Creek Homes. Brenda was the sales person helping us and she did such a great job. She wasn’t pushy, and didn’t pressure us in choosing something right away. She let us roam around in the home by ourselves deciding what we liked and didn’t like. We saw the same houses three or four times and she had no problem with that. I would definitely recommend her to others.

We visited and toured the Corpus Christi yard today. Our consultant was Brenda Ping and she was very helpful. She helped us as we were one a fact finding mission. She was honest our expectations and well informed. I would recommend visiting her at Oak Creek Homes in Corpus Christi if you are interested in a new home.

Poor customer service. After we had selected the home we wanted, the land fell through, so we had to start from scratch. We had two sale associates attempting to help us, but when the sale of the land did not go through they didn’t care if we found another property or not. Several unreturned phone calls and texts. One of the sale associates informed us that he found some land for us and when we tried to contact him to get more information, he ignored us. Once I requested my money back, I received unprofessional responses. When I went in store to pick up my check, the sales associate acted like he didn’t know who I was. I texted the sales associate earlier in the day and when I arrived he all of a sudden didn’t know me. He asked for my name and what I was there for.

Billy McDonald was awesome to deal with. We live in Minnesota so had to conduct all our business on the phone and Billy helped us through the whole process. Looking forward to meeting him in person and offering him our thanks. Cant wait to see our new home and start our new adventure. With out Billy McDonald this wouldnt have been possible!!!

I went to oak tree homes because I’m new in town and my brother and I are looking for a new place, one moment walking around with Brenda and I was sold. That experience made me nervous and excited and all else, she showed me exactly what I was looking for very quickly. Poor quality, Dishonest business practices, failed Air conditioner, failed mobile home Anchoring straps, sub floors wrapped, Engineer failed this structure & people should not be living in it at this time .This has been a complete nightmare & hardship for my family !!! Wow! Stunning! Every inch of these homes are on point. The kitchens are immaculate & bathrooms are Gorgeous! Custom made and perfectly done.

Buyer beware!I set out to purchase a home for my retiring mother, for she is a widow and I work construction. I wanted to move her closer to me.When the house was delivered to the property, the inspector had to come out two separate times and at that point in time, the comment was made that the list he made the first visit 50% of the stuff wasn’t even completed or addressed. I don’t know what was on that list, I don’t get a copy, kind of scary. the second thing is once we were able to get in the house, and let me explain we had no keys but the back door and frame we’re misaligned at the manufacturing plant, so not only could I or anybody who wanted to, could go and come and go as they please, it took approximately two weeks, if not longer for them to actually send somebody out to fix it. I am aware that through transport from the manufacturer to location there will be some minor repairs needed, like the archway. I was told that in order for them to do the trim out I had to have the electric and the water hooked up so I did that. A person would think that if they put a hot water heater in a closed wall that the connections would be tight, not my trailer they left me a surprise water leak, which gushed out of the bottom of the trailer of the master bedroom area. More than two inches of water was on the floor. Water was on approximately 2 hours. These are major to me, I never got the impression that I have of Jessica, who is in Corpus Christi or Christina who is in Dallas my representative after the sale well let’s just saying that I feel that they think that we’re just customers and We complain, no big deal. I am a field welding engineer. I deal with craftsmanship and quality everyday, my house must have passed their quality team. with that said, Brenda ping, a salesperson at Oak Creek, will definitely get five stars from me and that is for your upper management, if you all read these, you truly have an asset working for you, she is the only one that has called to see the progress, and that’s not even her job! just read over the list and judge for yourself, if you were spending $80,000 Plus on a new home for your retiring mother would you want this many discrepancies?

They only want your money, everything else does not matter, you need to be careful what you sign, read very carefully and find out what is included with the house.Better get away from them and look for other places around, but this place is not recommended.

Oak Creek Homes is far superior to other companies’ products we have looked at. At Oak Creek you can make changes to your floor plan that other companies do not do.Mark Irving, the general manager and his staff at the Corpus Christi location are very friendly and helpful in finding you the home that fits your needs.

I stopped into Oak Creek not knowing what I was looking for or much about manufactured homes. Brenda was so patient and helpful, she took notes and really listened to what I wanted. She made the browsing experience, fun and I will definitely be back when ready we are ready to purchase!!
