I made a reservation weeks in advance, showed up at the scheduled time and location to pick up my rental, they told me that they didn’t have it. They gave me a number to call to find out where I needed to go. Nothing available in a 150 mile radius. So after an hour and a half of hold time and transfers the best they can do is send me 2.5 hours away, and it’s not available until the next day. I understand that supply is limited, but I would have appreciated a heads up of some sort. My in-laws kindly offered to help move. So now we’re sitting in a packed up house waiting for tomorrow to come. Hey, I guess it’s better than the last time I moved with uHaul - they gave me an auto-transport with a bent tongue and a tire that blew out on me 50 miles into a 700 mile move.

I was treated with such disrespect the people at U-Haul on Port Street in Corpus Christi Texas. Im a 55 year old white educated woman. And to be told that I dont have common sense. So I will never go back there again

Very very high-priced for the U-Hauls but good storage and very secure.

They are good. Not like there is much to ask for from them.They are friendly.They used to take my payment every month over the phone but stopped answering every tine Id call so I had to learn how to pay it through the app by myself. Even more so that I do not need them or have to talk to them.The halls smell very nice and clean and ran into somebody the other day mopping.

My initial rental was set-up with Yvette- she was friendly and very helpful. There was a little hiccup and Yvette went out of her way to make it happen. She even went out of her way to contact the other facility to check availability and to make sure I could utilize my free storage. I would highly recommend using this location. Thank you, Yvette, for making things happen with an already stressful move.

Got a 2 bdrm storage unit at a good price. Didnt expect it to be the AC unit on the second floor but worth the price. Just lucky I dont have to many large items.

Crystal was very helpful when our moving company was in a bind and needed a last minute reservation. She made sure to give us the most cost effective option to help save us money based on our needs. She was polite and helpful. When another local location was very rude and gave us problems, Crystal helped get the issue resolved.

Service is great and helpful

Initially the staff was great, very helpful and polite, then I had my first encounter with the manager Brandon. As I was parking the moving truck he asked me to park it as close to the wall as I could, I replied I would do so, he then offered to park the truck for me, I thanked him and said I can do it, he at this point became angry and informed me that there are policies and the driveway area must be passable. I again told him Id be sure to get the truck as close to the wall as possible, Im now told by this clown to watch my attitude, all I could do was laugh at this fool. He drove off in his little cart and saw me laughing and turned around and said I was back talking him. I asked him who exactly he was to even speak to me in such a disrespectful way. He drove off mocking me. The way a child mocks someone. A little later I asked a female passing in the golfcart who the location manager was, she became very angry and yelled its a corporate location and I had an attitude with her husband which Ill assume is Brandon. She drove off shouting at me.This Brandon person is a joke, he has zero people skills and his wife is no better, this clown has no business as a manager of any business. If it were not for those two Id highly recommend this location, but their lack of professionalism and general people skills forces me to encourage any reader to avoid this place at all costs.

I would give 0 stars if possible. Reservation made in advance to remove Hurricane Harvey damaged furniture from Port A.Drove in from SA w 5 friends...no truck....no supplies that were ordered....most importantly no call to tell me they rented my reservation to another. A mannequin for an employee w no answers....embarrassing....

Employees at this U-haul location do not know what they are doing. They need to be trained properly. I will never do business with this location ever again. Very disappointing.

Unprofessional and rachet looking staff.DONT GO TO THIS U HAUL!!!!They did not disclose information to me BEFORE I signed and paid for the van.I thought i could drop off where I wanted on the site but I get there and she tells me after the fact that Inhave to return it there.This costing more money than expected and seriously pissed me off.She even said she needed someone to prove who I was even tho she had my license AND took a picture of it with her phone. That is Bad! She is not safely storing my info which is illegal for a business to do.

We drove four hours to Corpus Christi to bring a motorcycle back to Texas City we saw several bike trailers on the lots of all the U-Haul dealerships so we thought it wouldn’t be a problem renting one jokes on us all 20 of the bike trailers couldn’t be rented cuz they needed them to stay in town they said they would find us one and when they did it was in kingsville TXThat was another couple hours away and completely out of our way so thanks for nothing U-HAUL

Price for climate controlled 5x5 space is double that of local competitor, but were only place open Christmas Eve. Security was fair, but approved lock system (comments to follow) on doors is negated by weak latch assembly. Staff was definitely friendly and quite helpful, but the following (I think corporate) issues are what left a sour taste:They demanded I buy a specific lock ($12) otherwise goods were not insured, even though I had my own uHaul brand lock of same case hardened steel in the U-shape configuration (has to be a circular shape). Also I had to purchase my own insurance for my own goods ($10). No matter what lock you put on that door, the doors weak point is its latch assembly which is nothing more than 1/4 flange easily deformable with a properly applied crowbar; that should be looked at. The principle here is either you require the lock and ensure the goods safety through approved locking methods and standard on-site security or you require I buy my own insurance - not both - and truthfully if I want to leave it unlocked and uninsured, while stupid, its my own damn business and cannot sue as long as I sign a release form. Needless fees racking price up to $75 before tax for one stinking month in climate controlled 5x5. Down the street its $40 - Watson and Taylor Storage on Weber... If only they were open Christmas Eve.

My family was moving so when we were there we found a bunch of stuff covered in roach and mice droppings and larva on the boxes ruining all of our things and if I were you I would not choose this place to leave your belongings also the service is so terrible one of the staff were so rude I wish we picked another place!!!!!
