I spoke with Jacob over the phone when I was calling every Chevy dealership along the I-5 corridor, looking for a very sought after vehicle. I must’ve called and spoken to 10+ people in sales all of their names and locations blurring together. Only TWO were kind and helpful.We worked with Jacob when we purchased our vehicle and we felt that he went above and beyond to help us know the vehicle and all its selling points. We already knew what we wanted, he filled in all then areas of the vehicle that we were unaware it was equipped with, as well as the protection package for the cosmetic parts that was offered. Jacob made sure we knew that if we needed anything, we could reach out to him. We believe him and feel as though he will do his best to help us when we need it in the future.During the finance process, the manager personally spoke with us to allow us the opportunity to ask questions and we really appreciated that.The car buying experience is exhausting and exciting and stressful all at the same time. Ruddy was wonderful and I wish, I could give him a 10. And Stacy (finance lady) a 0.Ruddy was professional and very knowledgeable, answering all our questions and caring for us as we made this $95,000. purchase.Stacy was very homey. She would not answer any of our questions on the first time we ask. I ask what interest rate I was approved 4 times before she gave me the number. I asked what choices we had on extended warranties, all she said was youre going to want this one for $4,500. She NEVER would share the other maintenance packages with the prices. FINALLY she pulled out a sheet that she wrote on the back, showing some (not all) of the features on the warranty that she was pushing (I think she got the most commission on this one) when I finally agreed on purchasing that one, I ask her for that paper, she said she would put it in my paperwork.. SHE DIID NOT. She purposely keep it in her paperwork. Every time I asked anything she just smiled and avoided my question. I ask for personalized plates 4 times and she would not sell them to me.When we first walked into her office, she had on a mask, that was full of holes doing no good. We had the conversation and all 3 of us agreed we were ok without them. However, she had told us she already had covid, and other health problems. She just continued to cough, many times, NEVER ONCE COVERING HER MOUTH, NOR INTO HER SHIRT, OR ELBOW. How rude.

I absolutely recommend them for servicing your vehicle! I recently started taking my Camaro SS to them after the authorized Chevrolet in Albany closed down, and I couldnt be happier!! Dealt with Aaron mostly! Top guy and should be your go to Service Advisor! Never going to charge you more or tell you to get something done before its due and will go out of his way to make things correct! With my move to California, a little sad that I wont be able to give them my business anymore!
I just purchased a used truck from here. After we could not make a deal the first time they approached me while we were leaving to show us another truck. We looked, we test drove it, all seemed fine. As soon as we got on the highway 15 minutes after signing papers a significant shudder started. I called immediately and they transferred me back to finance. He reiterated the as-is statement. As is is fine, except they hid this issue from us. They have agreed to inspect it as a courtesy, but are under no obligation for repairs. He offered me to purchase the extended warranty again. I was fully planning on giving them a good review and I am disappointed that I cannot. If a satisfactory conclusion to this is met I will amend my review, but at this time I strongly recommend not going here for a used vehicle.
Courteous reception and very helpful Service Writer. I came in with a 10% off coupon and was informed I didnt need it being a military Navy Veteran he said I was eligible for a 15% discount because of my service. Thank you Power.

I went to have my car diagnosed with a transmission problem and they test drove it and put it on their computer and said it was fine. But that my car needed $1700 of 105k service. I then went to a transmission shop right after the dealer said my transmission was fine and the transmission shop says it’s slipping at 3rd and 5th. Which he said is common in GM transmissions, but I guess this hasnt been a common thing at the dealership. So what a waste of $71.28 the dealership charged for a missed diagnosis. (And I found it odd that if my car needed the 105k services, why didn’t they ask me to schedule them to get the services done) Is this how you treat all your woman customers? So frustrating…
I’m from out of town an had to get my oil changed, an a sensor checked. This was the ONLY place that knew what I was talking about outside a 50 mile radius! Not just that but they never once rushed me off the phone! And they were the nicest people I’ve EVER worked with! They were definitely worth the trip! Especially Bobby! The bonus was they washed my car! Thank you all for an amazing job! An thank you Lance for helping me as well. You guys are the best!!
Salesman was great both that we talked to however; we specifically said multiple times we didn’t NOT want our credit pulled until we negotiated a price!! We were reassured multiple times “OH NO We won’t” only to find out after leaving because we couldn’t agree on the payoff amount that the credit was ran anyways!!!! We won’t be retuning to POWER for our future vehicles! I’ll be doing a dealer complaint through CUDL! Dishonest

Drove 40 miles to this dealership to test drive a truck only to find out that it needs frontend work. Yes its a used truck but when you ask $25k+ for it it should be in good mechanical condition at least.

( Lol)About 1 1/2 years ago, when making a left turn in an intersection, a drunk driver approaching at high speeds, hit him on the passengers side going 60 Miles an hour.The impact was devastating! My significant other sustained severe injuries, as did the young driver with the DUI, also involving a third car.Thankfully though; after an extended stay in the hospital, due to injuries mainly to face (38 stitches to the eye), and torso, he was able to come home without permanent disabilities. Thank the Heavens to be!!!But the black extreme, in superb condition for 18 years was totalled. ( Ill spare anyone this description).Long story short, he/ we where looking to replace this unique, rare almost a classic of a car, and had been looking, searching for over a year now.Now, mind you, this is a discontinued car since 2003, and not that easy to find, even though a few variations do exist.We found some close vehicles between 2001/03 years, different colors, length of the bed...etc, and could not find anything close to what my boyfriend would settle with and repair/fix the restlater.He is a mechanic of over 40 years and owned his own shop...We extended our search to dozens of car dealerships, looked on Craigs list...etc.Finally we decided to extend our search to a broader spectrum.We had originally said that a radius of 200 Miles was our Max, but changed our mind(s) as time progressed and the loss of his vehicle impacted him deeper then we thought.I suggested to extend the search to 500 Miles as he finally agreed.And he/ we had seen many alikes, often in very poor condition to the plenty. And certainly not a rare existing one like the Chevrolet truck S-10 Extreme. We didnt even dare to hope to find THIS version!!!Almost immediately Power Chevrolet in Oregon popped up on my screen through car guru...I yelled out to my boyfriend as a 2003, black with stripes down the hood, ( awesome), S-10, extended cab, ( and the perks to go along with it ) EXTREME displayed itself in all glory.He checked it out and was besides himself to have found such a gem. This was THE ONE!!!! The only one that would replace his predesessor.And at a reasonable price for its rarety and in good condition, low mileage, only 2 previous owners! $10,000,- Dollars.He wanted this car!!! The only small issue was the distance. It turned out to be 585 Miles from our house...but.....and...so...we decided, after talking and further communication with the very friendly and knowledgeable people at Power Chevrolet in Corvallis, Oregon, to take a little trip up North. ( With plenty of spare face masks of course, and carefully considered planing in a short amount of time!)They finalized the sale, my boyfriend wired the whole lump sum over, and off we drove smiling a 10 hour drive plus two 1 hour brakes in the face.Here I must say that the scenery was beautiful beyond description! Even though the travel uphill through the mountains demonstrated a necessity of good driving skills, we arrived after 12 hours on the road at around 4:30 PM in this wonderful dreamy little City.We had stayed in phone contact the whole time with the team and especially one person stood out who greatly helped us through everything: Thank you sooooo much Austin of Power Chevrolet!They/ he had this dream car ready for us when we arrived and greeted us with a big welcoming smile, as did his Co workers, and the employee in charge of finances!!! Thank you so much!!!We had nothing but an excellent experience, and a little vacation as well...lol...and we drove the car home, 585 Miles, without any problems at all!!!Once more, if I havent said it enough yet!!!!Thank you! I didnt see that someone had answered back to my review until now. So I called Power Buick of Corvallis, spoke to a gentleman who requested pictures of my key fob. I got a call back from Lance the GM I assume. Who told me that, that is just normal wear and tear for a fob. He also asked me why I was calling back 6 months later. I explained that I hadnt seen his reply until now and I thought Id give them a chance to make things right. Well that didnt happen. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS COMPANY!! I will drive the 1.5 hours to Portland to another dealership. Power knows nothing of good customer service.

Called to inquire regarding seat belt extenders. The gentleman who answered the call, we asked him the GM offering free seat belt extenders. He stated that we had to be overweight, he then stated that we would have to go into the dealership so they could verify us being overweight.

I cannot say enough good about Luis, Service Advisor and Manager, and his team at Power VW! POWER, if youre reading this, PLEASE do not lose Luis!! Ive had Volkswagens for 20+ years and have been in/out of a handful of shops. None of them come close to the professionalism, quality, and customer service Ive experienced here. Well worth going 22 miles out of my way (Salem VW is closer to me)! Through the last couple years, Luis has helped me through the Dieselgate process, the Takata Airbag Recall, and ensuring we followed my cars scheduled maintenance plan. Here are a couple examples of his stellar character! **Let me first say that Ive never met Luis before coming to Power for service**1) I popped one of my tires entering the parking lot at work. I called Les Schwab to come and take the tire & rim to fix and put my spare on. After spending over $400 for a new tire and balancing, my once smooth ride vibrated horribly. I took it in to a different Schwab location and they told me I needed an alignment (which now I know was a complete lie!!). $89 later it still vibrated. I took it to a third Les Schwab location and this time they said the vibration was caused by a bent rim and that it could not be balanced. Enter Luis and Power VW. I told Luis what had happened and that I needed to order a new wheel. He said his tech could balance it and fix the vibration. I honestly didnt think it could be balanced but figured, sure, why not try. I was HAPPILY wrong. Luis was confident in the skills of his tech, was honest with me, and saved me $330 from buying something I didnt need!! As a woman dealing with a mechanic shop, this is huge!2) My daughter and I loaded into the car to get her free Dutch Bros. birthday drink. I go to turn on the car and it wouldnt start. I called Luis, explained the situation and he reminded me that as a Car Net subscriber, it includes free roadside assistance. As an active listener, he also picked up on the fact that it was my daughters birthday and asked what her favorite cake and ice cream flavors were and what her favorite colors were. I told him and he said hed have it ready for her by the time we got there. AND HE DID! As we waited in the customer lounge, Luis and team presented my daughter with a chocolate cake with red and blue sprinkles and a 6 candle on top while singing happy birthday! Wow!! The team at Power turned this unexpected hiccup in our day into something truly special! (It turned out I needed a new battery and he gave me a great deal on that too)I have more examples but feel this review is plenty long enough. Thank you Luis and the Service team for always going above and beyond!! Sales is pretty good too - I recommend Ryan Peterson, Gabe Vidal, and Stephen Riley. They are very personable and HONEST!
I would highly recommend going to Power Auto of Corvallis because their service is excellent and they are extremely friendly. I would personally like to recommend Jennifer who works in the financing department as she was extremely helpful and made sure I could get the car I wanted as quick as possible. After being in an accident and having my previous car totaled, I was out of a car and in a panic because I rely heavily on my car for work and family obligations. I had come across a car I had been planning to get as my next vehicle (but not for quite some time) and Jennifer immediately contacted me and got my information and started working on a financing option that would work for me. She was very friendly and supportive through the whole process and made it possible to get my payments at a rate I could afford despite not having a down payment. Again, I would strongly recommend work with her as she will work with you and what you can afford to get you the lowest payments they can, that is if you are looking to finance a vehicle through Power Auto. I have to say I have NEVER experienced such great customer service at any dealership. I went to 5 different dealerships looking for the right car for my family and I. All within 3 months of searching. I called Power Buick or Corvallis. I was blessed by talking to Rudy Mejia. Due to the COVID19 I did not want to really go in and wait. Rudy helped me so much and all through the phone. When he would say he was going to call he would. He was always communicating with me. It was such a great pleasure dealing with him. He has so much patience and is really easy going. Rudy went ABOVE AND BEYOND with his customer service. I am so happy with this purchase and all thanks to God and of course, Rudy! Excellent place to buy a Volkswagen. The deal was easy and fair. All the sales people and the parts people that I worked with were totally professional and knowledgeable about their product.Sales and Parts Department are top rated....no so much for the Service Department. I made an appointment for my 2019 Golf R to have its first oil change. I arrived the day of the appointment and they had nothing listed on their schedule sheet about me. Now I live in Eugene, 45 miles away (1 hour travel time each way). I thought sure they would shuffle things around to get me in, but no. I just got a “too bad” from the service person. I left quite upset. I definitely won’t have my car serviced there ever again. I drove home and bought my own oil, filter, gasket, and drain plug and changed my own oil in my garage and reset the oil countdown for the car. I refused to reschedule which would mean another 2 hour round trip drive...no way will I waste 4 hours driving for a single oil change.Sales: 5 starsParts: 5 starsService: 1 star

This was a great experience. No pressure, I knew what I had to have for my trade in and the price of the car I wanted. Rudy and I were able to get there. They found a loan, after hours, that was acceptable but promised to try to do better. Andrew came through for me 2 days later with a much lower rate. Very happy with the entire process.

About a year or so ago some lady smashed into me and totaled my Xterra, I shopped around for a truck but found a super nice Ford F-150 at Power auto. They had the best price around for that truck. I previously had purchased my last vehicle at a dealership in Albany and they were a nightmare. My best friend suggested I go to Power because he had nothing but good experiences with them and has purchased several vehicles through them, so I did. I was helped by Kyle Christiansen who got me a phenomenally low rate for my truck payments. I freaking love this truck! Definitely the nicest vehicle I’ve ever had. The overall experience of replacing my totaled vehicle was made much more enjoyable because of how easy it all was, and how just the great quality of service when you walk in the door. I used to hate going to car lots to look around because sales people swarm on you like lions on a meat pile. But at Power it was much more laid back, and I felt like I had a close friend helping me purchase a new vehicle. I felt like I was treated with respect. Like family. 10/10 would recommend all my friends go here. My wife’s car is getting old and we will definitely be going back to power when it comes time to replace hers. Kyles business card is still stuck on my fridge. I always recommend all my friends to go see him if they’re in the market for a new vehicle. Keep up the good work everyone at Power!

I went into the dealership with my son just to look at the Volkswagen models in stock to see if he liked any of the lineup. The service and support we received along with the comfort, performance and value of the car made us stay to make a deal on it. My son has been using this Passat as a commuter car between home and the University for a couple days and absolutely loves it.
Wonderful service they worked on my car for 9.5 hours but only charged me for 1 hour plus parts and gave me a veterans discount on top of it
I came in to talk to someone about finding a car that was right for me. I needed the car I found to have good gas mileage; as I drive far very frequently. I talked with Rudy and he helped me find the perfect car, with all the necessities that I wanted. He was able to make the process easy and efficient for me.
Had difficulty with acceleration, after multiple visits they have never been able to diagnose the problem. Have called and left messages at least 5 times over the pat week for Kyle in finance (or anyone in finance). Last time was supposedly talking to the general manager who said he would definitely call me back yesterday. He has never called. If you live in this area, drive to Salem to get your car - its worth it to not have to deal with these guys.

My family and I went to Power Volkswagen to look used cars during a sale event. The sales person was very friendly and helpful and we even got a military discount. There was a check engine light on and it was supposedly for a low O2 sensor. The dealer replaced it for free but after it was replaced the engine light stayed on. Later the same day the car died inexplicably and was undrivable after only having it for three days. What seemed like a good deal turned into a nightmare. We had the car towed to a repair shop and they told us it needs a new engine. Of course we bought the car as is so we have no recourse.Update 12/17/19: I called the dealership and got a positive reply and an assurance that the matter would be looked into and they would get back to me the same day. They did not get back to me and it has been 2 weeks now. Maybe a day means something different to them.
