The food is great, too expensive thou..Basic meat food place.. I mean they care more about the meat than salsas, or Customer service... great meat thou... but not as good salsas.... buy meat by the pund take home and make your own salsas.

This is a very small grocery store & butcher.Selection:They have all the options you need to make a traditional Mexican style family meal:-Several types of peppers, lemons, limes, corn, herbs (i.e. cilantro) tomatoes, tamatillos, and some seasonal fruits.-For meat they have all the various common cuts of beef and pork options, but no fish and Im not sure about fine cuts.-They have a wide array of snacks, drinks and beers.-Of course they have tortillas, unfortunately they dont have any homemade style corn tortillas. I would love to see them resold here.Service:All the staff is either in the butchery or at the 4 person register. So its a little difficult to ask for help when its busy. When purchasing, they have a reasonable minimum credit card purchase amount of $10 to avoid a fee of $0.50. considering banks usually charge a $0.35+2.5% interest on transactions, theyre clearly not trying to profit on that fee. Its convenient walking distance from my home so I cant complain with its convenience and having all the basics. They have also always had parking when I drive.Location:They are somewhat difficult to legally get to because you cant make a left turn into their parking lot and theres no place shortly ahead where you can legally make a U-turn. I do both all the time however. The area feels a little dirty and run down and can be easy to miss without obvious signs.Overall I like this store and come to it half the time that I need those kinds of things. Im worried about their future when Northgate opens up across the street.

The carnitas burrito was huge and excellent. Full of chunks of crispy carnitas. I asked the to make it dorados and they did. Thank you. Had an Al Pastor Sope as well. I prefer the carnitas. They also have a meat market (carniceria) and market with fresh vegetables and fruit. Great spot.

This place has the best marinaded carne asada and chicken. They have everything you could want to bbq. They have a great take out section where you can buy food already prepped. Its excellent

I love the food here, I would always go but I stopped going because my spanish is not good at all and some workers try to speak english but are not good at it and I would always have a hard time ordering here. Now there is a young lady working there whos name is Jammy. She speaks very good english, she is friendly and makes good food! Keep up the great work

Okay Ill do that for you thats what all the people that watch or read this site he was delicious you have burrito AA storage stews like Im cooking and they have also a butcher section they have produce they have milkshakes and all kinds of juices etc etc I recommend. Ive been coming here for the last 18 years shes my mom passed away

Great little Mexican eatery and market with over-the-counter service. A few seats outside but not the most scenic location. Food is cheap and delicious and portions are generous. The market is reasonably priced with somewhat limited selection. I highly recommend their salsa verde, which you can get about a quart of for $5

Been going to the one in San Juan Capistrano. Never knowing there was one closer to me. Now well be going there more often. Great food and great service.

Food is really good....but I have been charged extra high prices depending on who is working the register. Check your receipt!😉

Food was good but customer service is bad. Both ladies that helped us have no customer service. Cashier was on her phone the whole time and lady who served us food was just rude she wouldnt let us ask questions and would get frustrated when asked about prices

They have a great Carne Asada Burrito! I didn’t expect much when I came in, the meat was really good and they gave a side of shredded lettuce, sour cream and two big slices of tomatoes

Food here is awesome. Best hole in the wall that you will find in Costa Mesa. Most Mexican food is not very authentic, but this place comes the closest I have ever seen.

Very dirty. Flies on me counter if you want to get sick this is a spot. It used to be good now its just overpriced and dirty. The employees have his mean face all the time its not a good experience.
